Terrible customer service for defective DSM
UPDATE 2/13 (regarding the reply from the company below): I have provided my order number of 24572 on three different occasions (now being the fourth). The order number was provided through email on 2/6, a follow-up email on 2/12, and again through the chat on their website on 2/12. Instead of actually fixing the issue, they keep giving me the excuse of "we are reviewing". There is no reason that the "review" should take this long. It appears that they are just trying to wait until the 15-day mark to refuse to do anything about the fact that they sent me a book that is falling apart. Since this is not being handled accordingly, I have taken matters into my own hands.

I purchased a copy of the DSM 5 TR from this company. When it came in, there were some cosmetic issues with the book, and it was pretty dirty. I reached out to the company a week ago and did not receive a reply. The book began losing pages after a short flip through. I reached out to the company again, and they have failed to provide any information regarding returning the book and refunding me. I ordered this book for my courses, and I have not been able to use it at all. I am very disappointed and will never purchase from them again.

Let's start with the website. Date of purchase, as I made my selection and proceed to checkout my cart, the website suddenly changed my purchase selection. Upon noticing the incorrect item had been purchased, I immediately emailed support to cancel the order. Within minutes, a reply came over stating the correct item would be sent. I assumed the swope was made and the correct book is on the way. Unfortunately, 3 days later I received an email confirming the incorrect book was purchased and would be shipped. I immediately responded that I was informed the correct book would be sent, and asked for additional confirmation. Of course, crickets. I decided to send another email to the Gmail address, and crickets as well. I then moved to do the chat from the website since there is NO US telephone number for this merchant. The chat is AI and generic responses from "Mr. Booksy" is misleading and offer vague responses to direct or immediate questions. It's been two days since my email with no response. This merchant has absolutely the worst or the poorest customer support interaction I've ever encountered. I actually feel like it's a scam or rip off website in light of the absence of communication with customers. I highly encourage anyone buying from this merchant to closely look at your cart for the exact item you are purchasing to avoid any complications and frustration. If at all possible, seek another merchant for purchase if you meet any difficulties or web resistance pertaining to your purchase. This has been a terrible experience with BuyBooksy.com

Bad experience from start to finish. They mismanaged my address, requested it again and then stopped replying altogether. The book came damaged and looked mishandled. Cheap price or not but i wouldn’t go through this again.
