Carpetland worked with me and my schedule. They were informative and the team professional. They accomplished more than I expected refinishing 50 year old oak floors. They look new. Price, quality of work and a "customer first" approach was great. I will return to them for future flooring needs D. McDowell
I want to add, John our installer done a class A job on our floors. He takes pride in what he does and it shows.I'm so impressed with his work. Thankyou again John, it's beautiful.
October 24 - picked out flooring at Sterling IL store.November 28- painting done and ready for installation of flooringWas told the "best" crew would be free on December 17.December 17 - I was called and told wrong flooring was sent to store. December 18 - salesman going to Chicago to pick up flooring and deliver it here.Very very disappointed and dissatisfied customer. This is a $6000 job which to me is a lot of money. I am not feeling special or appreciated. I have decided if one more excuse comes up, I am going to cancel and take my money elsewhere.
I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a quality job. Our wood floors (in our 100+ year old house) have never looked better. The job was done on time and budget and everything promised to us by Roy Young exceeded our expectations. We had an area of water damage to the original floor which was repaired so you can't tell the original from the repair. Many companies we contacted didn't want to work on older houses like ours Schumacher not only didn't shy away from it they embraced the challenge. Bottom line right hand corner they did an incredible job.
I would like to compliment Rhonda, who has been the center to the whole business working on making sure our carpet was installed correctly. She popped In our home unannounced just to make sure everything was going as planned and inspected our carpet to make sure it was put in correctly.I also want to give a huge thank you to the carpenters for a job well done!! They were professional and so very kind and respectful. Chris, Leona, Ryan, Chip, and Ben went extremely out of their way and took the time to have me inspect the work as they went along. I must say, poor Chris had to do my master bedroom all himself. I understand you must train other people for the job, but Dillon did nothing to help Chris. Chris was patient, never complained and finished it perfectly. I found no imperfections! The next day, Chip, Leona, Chris, Ben and Ryan finished the rest of the whole upstairs, which was a lot! They lifted the heavy carpet without complaint. We were so appreciative of their kindness and patience, we kept bottles of water going for them and even ordered a pizza for them. The air conditioning was on high, but they still were sweating. That made me more appreciative because it reminded me again, how hard they worked. I cannot say enough about your crew. The last day was the basement, which was a big job, plus stairs and stair to the bar for dangling feet. Ryan and Chipper were the only ones working on the basement. We kept giving them water and told them to go ahead and grab lunch. They respectfully said "no, we are going to work through lunch, but thank you." Again, the air conditioning was on high, but they were still sweating, working their buns off just to get the job done the same day. They even politely asked if they could play some music on their phone. Too polite, just so respectful. I couldn't even hear the music even when I went downstairs. Ryan asked me whether I would like the stairs stapled on the side or left alone. I said I would like it stapled kindly. He stated, "no problem at all." And he did a fine job at that! They left extra carpet in case we would like it sealed, and so did Chris and the other gang. Your company is very lucky to have such a great crew!! I would recommend that team in a heartbeat! Great service and quality work. Worked with Ben on picking out the carpet. He is knowledgeable and helpful. Came to my house to measure very next day. Got my carpet installed two weeks later by Darin and partner. Darin did an excellent job installing my carpet! I am very picky and was worried about my just painted walls and trim. They were very careful not to damage anything putting in the carpet. They all did a great job and would recommend them.
Recently moved into a home that had cat urine all over the carpet in the basement. For a couple months we actually avoided going down there because of the smell. I had tried to use carpet cleaner and other household smell good items and sure enough the awful smell remained!! Having worked with Randy and Carpetland in our previous homes, I asked him to help us. Randy helped remove the fully stained and saturated carpet outside and away from the house, as well as re-stain the concrete with a stain/odor remover. Then the next day laid new carpet down quickly and with precision. Over a month later, there is still no cat urine smell!! pretty sure its gone for good. So happy we are finally able to go back into the basement. Thank you Randy and Carpetland, the carpet looks and smells amazing!
Worked with Randy to get measurements for carpeting our basement, he came out very quickly and showed us some samples - very much a no-pressure experience. We picked the carpet we liked and the install crew was back just a few days later and everything went smoothly. Nice guys who left the place cleaner than they found it - would highly recommend Randy to any friend or family looking for flooring. Very trustworthy.
Excellent experience from start to finish! Pat is knowledgeable, experienced and efficient. He helped us with our selections, measured our home immediately and provided us with the two best installers in business. Those installers, Ryan and Chip, installed laminate and carpeting to the majority of our home. They brought the product to our home, arrived on time every time they were scheduled, solved every challenge encountered with the design of our home and the result is a remarkably beautiful transformation. Ryan was even able to repair some water damage to the sub floors! We highly recommend this team for anyone looking for great floor product and service!
We've worked with Jeff to work through floor work room by room, including both carpeting and hardwood. Carpetland's pricing can't be beat, and their installers are top notch. They treat your house with care and respect, and obviously take great pride in the quality of their work. We will continue to use Carpetland for the remaining rooms.
Jeff is amazing to work with! We had a property we rehabbed and were selling. My Customer had chose another company to go with for their carpet. What they wanted from the other store was not in stock and they were in a pinch. I sent them over to Jeff and they were so delighted! They had many more options in my customers price range. As soon as I called Jeff he went over to the house the same day to get measurements. The customer chose their carpet and Jeff had it installed right away. My customer and everyone involved were very happy with the final result! I will continue to keep sending my customer to Carpetland, we all had a great experience! Jeff is great! The whole experience is was an A+!
Overall, we are very pleased with our experience at Milford's Carpetland! Melissa did a great job of educating us on the differences between each type of carpet and helping us find the best one for our family home. She made the whole buying experience virtually painless. The installers were awesome too! We had basically the whole house re-carpeted and they made the entire process so easy for us and did a great job!
Leonia and Scott were exceptional! This is our third carpet installation and they were professional and very considerate with making the installation as perfect as could be. They were both timely with the installation and we hardly knew they were here until they asked us to see if it was as we ordered and making sure the furniture was put back in place to our preference. We began the replacement of our living room and dining room carpet with hardwood flooring with Ben Neugent at Carpetland in Erlanger. Ben was very helpful in showing samples of the many selections and advising us. When it came to installation, Tom and Oscar were the craftsmen in our job. The job involved 4 places with angles and a bowed wall. All of the cuts were carefully measured and the wood precisely fitted. We were very pleased with the workmanship. Tom and Oscar did an awesome job. Highly recommend.
Rhonda was our salesperson and was very professional and helpful in all aspects of our purchase and installation. We had the wood floors in our kitchen refinished and new carpet installed in our family room, bedroom and walk in closet. The crew that refinished our wood floors were excellent! They refinished the floors with little dust and cleaned up after themselves. The floors look wonderful. I would have them back. The couple that installed our carpet were also excellent. They worked very hard moving furniture, installing carpet and moving everything back. They were very professional and I would also have them back! Great work Carpetland!

We had numerous issues; wrong flooring delivered that delayed the project, poor workmanship and lack of attention to detail that required special trim pieces to hide, sloppy clean-up that we had to finish ourselves even after some one was sent to "fix" things and our concerns were ignored at the end. We need to replace a lot of carpet in the house in the coming months and not interested in doing business with them nor could I ever recommend them as result of this experience
We had a great sales person, Rhonda Grizzell, as well as great installers. All went as planned with only a little more time needed for installation and one return trip for some fine tuning. We love our new engineered wood flooring as well as our upgraded carpet. Love love love it! We have used Rhonda and this location three times now and have not been disappointed in the treatment and/or quality!
Even though I created some problems by changing some things and making the project take longer than it should have, Carpetland did a great job and I will call them the next time I am in the market for carpeting.Special thanks to sales rep Jeff Stovall and installer Neamiah who both went the extra mile!
