Car hire at Milan airport
Hired a van at Milan airport, the company had the flight number. We had the time listed as 3 hours early, no contact from EasyJet or Milan car hire company and had to repay the full amount to hire same vehicle. No help from EasyJet and cost double in the end. No refund provided.

Easyjet car rental is the Devils Work
Easyjet car rental is everything that is wrong with the UK right now. Hard working British citizens are getting thier hard earned money stolen from them by these thieves which is nothing more than daylight robbery. Nothing obviously changes as from reviewing these reviews they get away with murder literally. I would love to look into how much of an impact companies like this have on someones mental health. The helplessness of loosing your hard earned cash to one or Epsteins British mates who's probably currently sitting in a hottub somewhere in the Cotswolds smoking a Cigar in a hot tub looking at these reviews after laughing all the was from the bank. If your reading this then you've been scammed too. Wake up, do something about it and lets stop these horrific people stealing from us.

EasyJet lists cars that are NOT actually available
EasyJet list cars that are actually NOT available for hire, so you book them at a good price and then a few days later receive an email saying "That car is not available but we have another for 300.00 more money"!!!I then pushed back, and they then said they could do it, but a few days later they just randomly cancelled it and refunded the fee. I then went through the whole process again but over the phone and exactly the same thing happened. I cancelled it whilst on the phone and booked another that the call handler knew was available (different view to the public) and they then took both payments from my account and I had to go onto live chat to get the refund two days later which took another 30 mins. It's been an absolute nightmare experience and feels like a scam.

Shocking company that tells lies
Why have easy jet said there sent me an offer regarding my previous holiday this is not the case never received no offer through email or phone call This company is terrible and being disabled they have no direct complaint line either which is not good.Being a disability advocate I would certainly recommend easy jet to any disabled person . And if you respond easy jet please don't say send it to your trust pilot review team they said you'd be in touch within 7 days have not contacted me guess the answer is no. I spent £1600 on a holiday which.was an absolute night mare from begging to the end if you've read my previous review you would see what I was talking about absolute a shame less company . I will be going to the small claims court and if any body has had the same problem take them to court

Just do not book through EasyJet
We organised a car through EasyJet and paid the rental and what we assumed was the insurance, all I can say is don't bother. We got to the desk at Europcar only to be told we would need to pay for additional insurance or have a £2100 yes £2100 excess deposit charged to your credit card. Or pay the Euopcar 3 day insurance of £174.00 plus a deposit of £100 released upon return of the vehicle.or £700 deposit against your credit card and pay any damages. We paid the £174 total cover against any damage etc + £100 deposit choice. It's a bloody rip off. We will never book through a third party again. We won't use Eurocar either. The car was filthy inside and out, the damage thank fully we recorded, some was covered by the filth. Appalling.

I was charged an additional €900…
I was charged an additional €900 premium with Weego Alicante. Easy jet did very little to get my deposit back. How they get away with this is criminal. Please avoid It’s been 6 months now and they are not responding to any calls or emails

Do not book car hire through Easyjet
Do not book car hire through Easyjet. It is an absolute shambles. We booked through them expecting great service. How wrong were we. Booked to collect car at 00.05am when we arrived the car hire company had all gone home stating they close at 11pm. So why was the booking accepted for 00.05am.We called them the following morning and they told us it was cancelled and we needed to pay another £84.00. It is a scam. We have been trying to get the extra money back but they just come up with excuses.

€440 for already damaged number plate.
I booked a Fiat Panda for 3 dats and took the full Premium insurance. On arrival I collected the vehicle in person and found numerous minor bodywork damage. I took numerous photographs but missed the front number plate which had a slight dent and twist in it. On my return it was deemed new damage and I was charged €390 for a new number plate and €50 admin fee. I now have to claim this back somehow through AXA knowing this damage was pre-existing. This is a total total rip off as the vehicle had numerous scratches and missing trim that it is totally unacceptable to then charge 440 Euros; it’s a scam.

SNOW TYRES
When booking my flights to Lyon I used the EasyJet facility to book a car for one week through Hertz. I paid EasyJet the £ equivalent of €221.40. At the Hertz checkin desk at Lyons airport I filled in the address of where I was going to and was told I had to have snow tyres even though my friend who was already there said i did not need them. It cost me an ADDITIONAL €315 even though it was the same car model. That was 150% more than the cost of the rental car!! At no time did EasyJet warn me about this.

Absolutely disgusting company
Absolutely disgusting company - will not take responsibility for the companies they administer - advertise and sell as easy jet car hire - actually renting cars from companies with ZERO customer focusAdvertise cheap rentals push up the prices at the rental agency and this time an all new high. Charging me for arriving at the car rental office late due to an easy jet flight !! Trying to DOUBLE my charges , I walked away and they refuse to make refunds. NEVER AGAIN and I would rather walk !!!

EasyJet Car and Car Trawler - Customer always loses
Like all the other reviews, very similar experience. It seems that when you thought easyjet couldn't aspire to be RyanAir even more than they already are....they outsourced their car bookings to Car Trawler. As no longer primary customers of EasyJet Car or the end hire company you are now a second rate citizen able to be exploited.Booked a mid size hatch listed as a Peugeot 308 or similar from Geneva Airport Swiss side. When I arrive, "No sir you have book a Yaris". I showed them the email saying the class size and as if I was speaking a different language I was told no that the size of a Yaris. The ruse was clear - they were down grading you like it or not - not a option for a family of 4 and a ski bag. So I had the pay another 100 CHF which in fact came out to be £252.24 so got fleeced on some other cost. I was not the only one getting punished as I overheard 2 other 'useless jet' customers having the same pain. Simple solution - the days of saving money on flights and Car hire are over, book direct with the hire company at your destination and take the punishment up front!

I recently booked a car through EasyJet…
I recently booked a car through EasyJet Car Rental and had a very disappointing experience. I paid upfront, but when I arrived to collect the vehicle from Drivalia, I was confronted with conditions and charges that EasyJet had never disclosed on their website.I was told that any additional miles would be charged at £0.31 per mile, plus an outrageous £105 admin fee. Admin fee informationnot appeared during the booking process. On top of that, I was informed that the £1500 security deposit could not be split across two credit cards, which again was never mentioned by EasyJet beforehand. Because of these undisclosed rules, I was forced to pay an extra ( double of initial amount) just to get the car I had already booked and paid for. This experience was stressful, time-consuming, and completely avoidable had EasyJet provided accurate information. What should have been a simple rental turned into an expensive and frustrating ordeal. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others to be very careful when booking car hire through EasyJet—hidden charges and missing information made this one of the worst rental experiences I’ve had.

I agree with other reviewers - avoid
I agree with other reviewers and would give 0 stars if possible - my advice to anyone is to use one of the big well-respected car rental companies who provide a proper service. I had all the extensive and correct documentation, including credit card statement with proof of address, the only exception was that the utility bill, which showed my address, was in my husband’s name (I had a copy of my marriage certificate). I was denied the car, told to apply for a refund, then was denied any refund. Worst of all, I had my ancient and near-immobile mother with me so, after an already-long journey we were left stranded at Gatwick. A bigger company could have run a credit check to solve the matter. So, be warned.

Credit card or debit card
Booked a car. Recieved a message about credit card needed when at the airport. I only have debit. Had a chat with easyjet car hire assistance. They change my reservation to go with a compagny that accept debit to prevent any surprise. When at the airport : sorry you need credit card to have the same condition (cartrawler) … finaly had to pay and extra insurrance. My car cost me twice the price i expected. It really is a scam.

BEWARE - do not book car hire through easyjet
We had an appalling experience with Drivalia, easyJet’s car hire partner at Edinburgh airport.Drivalia’s cheap seat belt fitted child seat could not be fitted safely to the car (several were tried). The branch manager agreed it was not safe and agreed to a full refund. We then walked away and went to another car hire place with safe child seats. However, it turned out the manager was not authorised to promise a refund as we booked through EasyJet. We only found this out after following up with Drivalia a week later about the refund. After finally finding out how to contact EasyJet, they refused a refund as a child seat was available, even though it was not safe to use and the branch manager agreed.

Non prendete auto tramite easy jet
I booked a car through EasyJet. The flight was delayed but the car company refused to wait until the arrival (half an hour after normal time). I had to refuse the flight.

Lack of transparency – misleading system regarding French debit cards
I booked a car through easyJet Car Rental and discovered upon arrival that the rental company (Drivalia) would not accept French debit cards for the security deposit. In France, credit cards are extremely rare — even premium cards like Visa Premier or Gold Mastercard are issued as debit cards. This means most French customers simply cannot meet this requirement. This essential information was not clearly displayed during the booking process. It was only buried in small-print terms and conditions. As a result, I was unable to collect the car unless I paid more than £250 extra at the counter. I lost the prepaid amount and had to rent another car elsewhere immediately.Afterwards, I checked the reviews and realised that many French customers have experienced the exact same issue. It feels like a recurring pattern: offer a low price, then block the rental on arrival with an unexpected condition.easyJet must take responsibility as the booking platform:either stop listing rental partners whose practices are incompatible with the French market,or clearly highlight essential conditions during the booking process. As it stands, the experience is misleading and costly. I strongly advise caution when booking a car through easyJet unless all hidden conditions are checked extremely carefully.
