Very helpful and understanding

Very helpful and understanding, and never judgemental. I really appreciate the help I am getting to pay off my credit card debt, as the extremely high interest was eating me alive. Everyone I've talked to has been very kind and helpful and they were able to get my interest rate from over 26% to under 3%. I highly recommend this service

The representative was down to earth and explained my financial options in detail that was easy to understand. Extremely helpful and informative. I highly recommend the CCCF to anyone trying to resolve their high interest debt into a reasonable monthly payment that takes half the time to pay off avoiding interest.

I initially contacted CCCFUSA.org about…

I initially contacted CCCFUSA.org about a debt management plan. The first representative told me there would be a $100 setup fee but no monthly fees. Before committing, I checked with another nonprofit (InCharge.org), which had no setup fee and only a $20 monthly fee.During my second call with CCCFUSA, the tone shifted. I was told that InCharge was not a true DMP provider and that using them could hurt my credit. I later found this information to be incorrect. Near the end of the call, I was also told that CCCFUSA’s own monthly fee would be $50 per month for nearly four years — something that wasn’t disclosed earlier.I ultimately signed up but quickly realized I’d made a mistake. Upon contacting customer service to cancel, I was transferred to another representative who challenged my decision, refused to process the cancellation, and created unnecessary tension during the call. I eventually resorted to submitting a written cancellation request, which was processed in reasonable time.In my personal experience, the interaction felt manipulative and unprofessional. I believe people seeking financial help deserve transparency and a calm, respectful process — especially when they’re already under stress. My advice: compare multiple nonprofit counseling agencies, confirm everything in writing, and don’t let anyone pressure you into signing.I hope this feedback helps the company improve its cancellation procedures.

Everyone I’ve spoken to has been very kind and understanding. I’ll take any help I can get and they have definitely been helpful. My credit score has improved and many cards have WAY less interest. I am very grateful.
