I’ve had a very frustrating experience…
I’ve had a very frustrating experience with Club Pilates in Palm Coast and feel it’s important to share it for anyone considering a membership.First, scheduling classes is extremely difficult. The studio only has 12 reformers available per class, which means spots fill up quickly and it becomes nearly impossible to get into classes that work with a normal schedule. For a membership-based studio, there should be better availability or a more reliable way for members to access the classes they’re paying for.Another issue is the constant turnover in management. It feels like management changes frequently, and with each change the communication and policies seem to shift. This lack of consistency makes it hard to resolve issues or get clear answers when problems arise. My biggest concern, however, is the cancellation policy and how it was handled in my situation. I am on call for work, and when I signed up I specifically explained that I may occasionally need to cancel last minute because of my job. I was told that if this happened, I could simply call the studio and they would waive the late cancellation charge.Unfortunately, that was not honored. Even when I called as instructed, I was still charged. When I tried to address it, the issue was not resolved. Because the charges continued despite the agreement that had been made with me, I ultimately had to shut off my card to prevent additional charges.Overall, the experience has been disappointing. Between the difficulty scheduling classes, the frequent management changes, and the cancellation policy not being honored as promised, it has not felt like a fair or customer-focused experience. If

Won't cancel membership after written request
This review is specifically about the Georgetown DC location. BEWARE before you give this business your credit card information. I'm a fan of Club Pilates and did it for years in other cities, but the management in this location has complete contempt for customers. I have a recurring membership and needed to cancel it because I moved out of state. You can't cancel on the website so I called about a month ago and was told staff can't cancel it either, only the owner himself can do it and he's apparently very unresponsive. I e-mailed requesting the cancellatiom in writing and weeks passed with no response. Finally this weekend I was charged again for my monthly membership. I've called multiple times to complain, request they process the cancellation and refund the latest charge, and management has yet to aknowledge any of those communications. Please think twice before having your credit card information kept hostage and being charged with no ability to cancel

The instructors were great when you…
The instructors were great when you could get a class. They oversell memberships and every class even weeks ahead are wait listed. You don’t know til the day of if you’re off the wait list makes for planning and working impossible. At this price you should be able to attend the classes.

Walking into the gym
Walking into the gym, the first person you see is Caitlyn, with her big smile welcoming you into the class. Like a ray of sunshine, she's always happy. She remembers everyone's name, which I tell her is very impressive.I love going to this gym with their array of different classes, instructors and levels.Dina Zanni

The instructors are good. But Nothing else
The instructors are good, but the reception staff are very very pushy regarding over and I mean waaay over prices individual classes! They do not give up and frankly it destroys the enjoyment of going. The head office do not reply to any complaints you voice. They just ignore you!!I would not have come had I known how pushy they are. Think twice as there are plenty of Pilates places to choose from so choose wisely!DO NOT CHOOSE CLUB PILATES!

I attended a free 30-minute Pilates…
I attended a free 30-minute Pilates class at a studio located in a small outdoor shopping mall off Davis Road in Pensacola. The space was clean, organized, and welcoming. They also had shirts and other memorabilia available for purchase. The instructor was very to the point and did a great job explaining and guiding us through the class, which I really appreciated—especially as someone who likes clear direction. While the regular class pricing was a bit more than I can afford right now, it was still a great experience overall. If you’re curious about Pilates and in the area, it’s definitely worth checking out.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY
DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Pilates girl here, and a busy working mom. Their classes are always booked and have waitlists, so I was never able to get in. I originally purchased a 4 class pack, they then continued to charge me every month after that. (I still havn’t been) and I now have 12 classes to use. I had to switch credit cards so the card they had on file isn’t valid anymore. When I went to log in and see if there was any chance of booking a class this week, it says zero credits- update your payment method. WHAT A SCAM like seriously? Just taking peoples money. When you don’t even have availability for a member to go to a class, how do you continue to charge payments?! (Which are done every month without consent by the way) AVOID CLUB PILATES. Definitely go somewhere else. Horrible customer service.

I don’t usually write a negative…
I don’t usually write a negative reviews. However, BUYER BE WARE!I bought a pre-paid package of 12 sessions for wife and she was happy with service. HOWEVER, I go to find out that I was ALSO paying $99.00 for a membership fee that was told did not apply…. But it did! When I addressed the issue I was told basically, tuff luck even though the package was frozen. So I’m out close to $700.00!! Talk about a SCAM! I feel like I now live Minnesota!

Very disappointed
Very disappointed. Be aware that canceling your membership comes with fees plus extra month payment.

I canceled my membership in writing and…
Union, KY location - I canceled my membership in writing and confirmed the cancellation exactly as instructed. Despite this, my account was not canceled when it should have been, I was charged for an additional month, and my initial payment was never refunded—despite written communication indicating confirmation was required to process cancellation and refund. The extra monthly charge was eventually reversed, but it should not have occurred at all. I am also aware of other members who canceled during the same period and received refunds, making this experience feel inconsistent and unfair.I recommend keeping all communication in writing and reviewing cancellation terms very carefully before signing up.

Club Pilates offers a free intro class…
Club Pilates offers a free intro class for new students. The instructors are very friendly and knowledgeable. They use safe routines and explain how to properly use the Reformer. Very satisfied customer!

Instructors were great/Scam
Instructors were great. Policies not so great. They over charge you if you want to cancel membership. Cost me more to quit than initially join. Scam. I would stay away from Club Pilates.

BEWARE Portsmouth NH location
Portsmouth NH location. Went for a free trial. My husband was going to be 4 minutes late and i was told he would not be allowed in. Then 2 minutes later they DID let another woman come in for the trial. there was a difference of TWO minutes. NOT acceptable.went back another time and we both decided to start Dec 1. On NOVEMBER 30 i called to tell them that we decided not to join. I was told that the charge was already put through and there was no way of getting my money back.ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGED at lack of customer service. They had no right to put a charge through in November when we specifically said not to charge anything until December.

Thinking about pilates? Try it!
I finally decided to take pilates last year and I do not regret my decision! From the free intro class to purchasing the 4 pack membership, the 3 different locates I've taken classes have been great. Each offered their own vibe and the instructors have been pleasant, encouraging and very supportive.

Wouldn't recommend at all
Wouldn't recommend at all. The told me it was a 3 month contract and are now harassing me, calling me and emailing me to collect for a month I paid for and didnt attend and are trying to charge me month to month but never told me when I signed up. I also did a written cancelation but as they required but now saying its not in affect until I pay for an addition month I didnt go. They are very money hungry and I wouldnt bother to go there again.

They kept charging me
This company needs to get some updated procedures. If they lose the piece of paper where you sign off that you are closing your account and no longer want them to charge your credit card, you're on the hook. They will keep charging. They lost the paper, but I was on the hook for the money. They asked me for a picture of the paper they filed (and lost). Ridiculous. They cannot own that their procedures are outdates (who uses paper anymore??). Careful or you will end up paying lots for nothing.

customer service seems clueless
A Club Pilates was opening up in my area and they pre-sold 3 mos discounted memberships (of course the price would go up after 3 mos which isn't the best). Anyway, I figured that I would try for 3 mos. There ended up being months long delays to open (still not open 30 days after intial opening date and looks like it will still be a couple of more months). They promised us a free online membership for xplus during this waiting period, but after two weeks of back and forth, still can't get that online membership activated. Finally, I just cancelled the whole thing and asked for 1 mos early payment that I made to be refunded. I am sure that will be a hassle too.

Booking System and Contract Scams
I attend the Vinings location. Firstly, the booking system is completely deranged. I'm always on a wait list and sometimes they clear me less than 12 hours in advance but I have to give a 12 hour notice to cancel. Completely backwards. Now I've been scammed on my contract. They had an offer for $50 off but didn't disclose that it was only for a month. They charged the wrong bank account and caused me to be overdrawn. I was injured for awhile and they forced me to pay $25 a month to put it on hold??? I even had a doctors note!

I've been going to Club Pilates for a couple years and love it!
I've been going to Club Pilates for a couple years now. I have gotten to know the instructors, the classes are AMAZING, I love the clientele and while there are a lot of waitlists, it's true... DO NOT BE AFRAID OF A WAITLIST! People sign up and cancel, and policy is you have to cancel within 12 hours of your class to avoid charges. I am almost always admitted in when waitlisted. (almost)I remember my very first class with Mel, and the entire class rallied around me having a great experience! I paid out of pocket for it and had no membership, and waited 3 weeks to attend. When people found out I was new, they embraced me. That is the day I was told, do not be afraid of a waitlist. Mel was by my side with all moves, encouraging me, making me feel like I was family from day one! And the other people in the class were asking me how I enjoyed my first class, encouraging me to sign up. It was like walking into a room where you know nobody but everybody knows you and makes you feel like you've known them for years. Please do not get me wrong, every day is not like that. But from day 1 until now, I have had nothing but the most respectful and uplifting experience. I'm an introvert and this takes me out of my shell. It's what I never knew I needed and I feel blessed that I found it. I just recently, because of my GREAT experience at Club Pilates, started pursuing my own Pilates instructor credentials. Unfortunately, CP was not offering classes during this time of my career transition, so I shopped around and found another studio (which I won't name) to take classes. And while I really like this other studio, the instructors are PHEONOMENAL and the other classmates in my training class are amazing!!! It's still not home, though I am still getting to know a new studio. I "paused" my CP membership and it's been 2 months now. I decided to cancel it because it seems to make sense with my new path, but I have to renew for 1 month and then cancel because you can't cancel from a pause. I went back this week after being gone for 2 months... it was like returning home! I can't get enough! I'm getting into every class I can get into that doesn't imbalance my training schedule (and yes, I'm now double dipping, taking classes at 2 studios. Hey... when you have a dream you figure out how to live it out!) I don't want to leave them! They are THE REAL DEAL. I'm sorry for anyone who may have had a bad experience in other states, but if you live in the MN area, I implore you to please give them a shot. You will not be sorry. I can't speak for other states, but they are my "HOME". When I start instructing, I want to instruct for them. They are the reason I fell in love with Pilates and the reason I want to become an instructor. I am uplifted with every class! I'm challenged! And I'm rewarded! I assure you, by 2026, you will see me instructing within the Club Pilates Franchise!
