I had students from Brazil last year…
I had students from Brazil last year March 2025until now I didn't receive balance delay payments 330$ for my students meal and stay.I always called the owner and her partner March,April May,June July August 2025 6 times them to remind them the payment to transfer until now January 2026 we didn't receive payments. We fed the students and stay in our house 3 boys from Brazil.So bad I can't give a good review this agency.I spoke with Carolina too about this September 2025 and her staff .

I agree with the previous reviewers… C&M HOMESTAY does not pay hosts. Karen is not good with paying people back and doesn’t even call to let you know . Karen always has some sort of story. She promises people their money but it takes months to get paid and you have to chase her to get your money. I am in the beginning of processing a legal suit against her for money owed… please reach out if you would like to join me in this civil lawsuit.

There should be no star given to this worst C&M agency. They still owe me until now for students who already went back home. Beware if you are being referred to this agency. They lied a lot. Too bad for students and their families because even them host is after them because of this worst ever C&M Homestay agency.

just nowNew-Edit DeleteAttention to hosts; this agency no paying properly hosts, you have to chasing them for every payment for every students. First they told you that you will be paid in the first week when student arrive, and then they no pay you, instead they keep postponing payment by telling you that you will be paid in 10-12 days, then in 14 days, then 3 -4 weeks, when student is already went home. The fact is that they are paid from students before they arrive in Canada. However with "more then month not paying tactics," you end up feeding there students from your pocket or like some people say for free!!They lying to you constantly , and no care about students...only about money..Yesterday, after hardly battling with them... to get my money for last student i decided to put review that all people can reading how this agency operating their shady business. I deeply wish that this all not happens to you, what is to me and other people from the review..,However, today i am harassed by the same company as they keep constantly phoning me and pushing me to remove my review. One of representatives of the company threaten and blackmail if i no remove this review that they will be call Language Canada and try remove me like an host.!!This terrible C & M Homestay Agency should be definitively inspected and reported to BBB, ..or not operated this business at all , so stay away from them....!!!My experience and opinion.

This Agency is horrible
This Agency is horrible, the person who runs this Karen, acts so unprofessional and if you ask where you payment for the service you provide is, She says you will receive it, they pay LATE, and there is other home stay program's out there that pay a lot better then this place, you provide the service, No appreciation. Take my Advice Please don't deal with this company or the people that work for it. If I could give a zero star I would.

Beware homestay hosts
Beware homestay hosts, I have had trouble getting payment from homestay since day 1. My student left my house on July 16 and I still have not received payment from them. I email, I call and they promise payment that never comes. For your info, The two contact phone numbers, they never answer and the voice mails are not activated.
