Colin Bush Garden Machinery
My Hayter Hawk lawn mower broke down, I believed it was due to the spark plug. I arranged for Colin Bush Garden Machinery (based in Whitehall's Garden Centre Chippenham)to repair it, they collected it and I paid £110 for the repair and collection.On return the machine was running badly, I have only used it 3 times and now it has packed up altogether.I phoned Mr Bush to inform him of the problems I was having expecting him to remedy the matter, sadly I did not find him to be very helpful at all. I was told that he will look at it again but obviously I will have to pay all over again, I simply cannot afford this as I explained to him. He then told me that it's probably the petrol which must be old as anything over a month is considered old. I was then told to drain the petrol and replace it, as I suffer health problems it is very difficult for me to do this and it also does not address the fact that I used the petrol he provided when the machine wasn't working well on return.I managed to drain the petrol but the machine will not work, given that the machine was running very well and the problem was with the spark plug prior to being sent to Colin Bush, it is a major concern that it has come back ruined.Very, very poor service from Colin Bush who was not really interested in helping and who clearly did not repair the machine properly in the first place. I will not be using them again and would not recommend Colin Bush as a reliable place to get a quality repair. I have attempted to get Mr Bush to check out the mower as part of the repair he should have done, he has refused to do this and is not responding to my emails.My advice? avoid
