I am a vegetarian that absolutely loves…

I am a vegetarian that absolutely loves biscuits and gravy and cracker barrel was the spot before today (3.7.2026)! I was informed this morning that as a vegetarian option you still use pork and tell us it's vegetarian gravy. I am absolutely disgusted and extremely disappointed with you and will tell all my folks about the lies you spread!!!!

Take out time was too long

Take out time was too long, lack of customer service and still received the wrong order. Overpriced. Every time I order from Cracker Barrel in Huntsville, I get the wrong order and always late with it too.

I recently placed a take-away order for a steak and shrimp combo with three sides, along with a buttermilk biscuit and an iced vanilla latte. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the service and overall experience.When I got home, I realized that the buttermilk biscuits were missing from my order and no cutlery was provided with the take-away. Additionally, the food was cold by the time I received it.I had also specifically ordered an iced vanilla latte, but it was served in a hot coffee cup. When I brought this to the server’s attention, I was told that there were no take-away cups available, which is why it was served in a hot beverage cup. This was not communicated at the time of ordering and is not an acceptable substitute for an iced drink.Overall, this experience was highly disappointing.

Thoroughly disappointed with the whole…

Thoroughly disappointed with the whole experience. I didn’t mind waiting 15 minutes for a table, we just browsed the store. From the minute we sat down it went downhill. It took 45 minutes for the food to arrive, I say food but it wasn’t the whole order. The server brought OH’s complete lukewarm food, and put a plate in front of me with a lone steak and nothing else. She said that the egg had just been put on the grill, no worries i said, it would only take a minute to fry an egg. Wrong - 10 minutes later, the eggs arrived with hash browns and the sourdough toast. I ordered toast as a lighter addition, however it was dripping in grease where they had cooked it on the grill. After a 15 minute wait for the check, I went to ask for it. Eventually got it and I went to pay. Another 5 minute queue to pay! I handed over my check (it came to $42). Cashier said that will be $59 please! I was sure it was only 42 and told him so, so he went digging in the bin for it. Eventually found the manager, who checked and said sometimes the staff give you the wrong check after adding items, but no she had added another steak. The manager actually thanked me for giving her a “teaching opportunity”. My advice - check your check! I don’t need to, I won’t be going back.

I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with…

I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with Cracker Barrel over the years in regards to their food. I do however enjoy their gift shop. I ordered a few gifts online for my family. My local Cracker Barrel is awful to deal with (as are most). Well so is their online store. Item arrived unprotected. Items were missing. Tried to find a number for customer service. None exists. They have an automated chat run by AI. It was extremely difficult to find. They essentially call you a liar and “put in a ticket”. They would not give me a number for customer service but claimed someone would call me back. How is this store in business?! Bad food and poor corporate management. It will be the next one going under.

Unfair work treatment at West Memphis Cracker Barrel

I have **never** experienced so much favoritism and discrimination in a workplace. I was previously employed by this company and was terminated because I refused to bow down to management like others did. They are terrified of her because when they upset her she decreases their hours by half or 0 the following week.I worked in retail, and the manager was extremely unprofessional, mean, and messy. She regularly shared employees’ personal business, which was completely inappropriate. I would not recommend working for this company. The retail manager discourages employees from moving up or learning new positions and constantly speaks negatively about other managers and even the general manager to her staff, which creates a toxic work environment. She denies time-off requests unless you are one of her “favorites” and shows no concern for employees’ health—only whether her shift is covered.This was by far the worst job I have ever had. I left in 2025, and I strongly caution anyone considering employment here. Please be especially careful about sending young people to work at this company, as they are likely to be bullied, overworked, and taken advantage of.

They do not know how to put condiments in a bag I asked for A1 sauce and they put it in a cup and put one drop of sauce food was cold and fries were soggy

Disappointed

Disappointed, I have noticed how Cracker Barrel has slowly gone downhill as far as the food goes .. everything taste instant the biscuits are a hit and Miss, I ordered grits with my eggs and it tasted like instant grits Cracker Barrel supposed to be about old-fashioned cooking not instant microwavable food ..very disappointed it’s not getting better. It’s getting worse.

Slow waiters.set 1 hour 10 min before food..out food we ordered get something else. My hamburger steak patty was hard brick. Will not go again..we go often last 3 to 4 visits getting worse.

I could say the bacon tasted bad but…

I could say the bacon tasted bad but that would be a step up. The bacon was old and it had absolutely no taste at all. It was terrible and it looked like it had just spent hours soaking in grease. We were with a large party and I didn't want to delay everyone else's meal by arguing and sending it back. First the logo and now the food quality is going downhill fast.

My Mom ordered Christmas dinner from Cracker Barrel. The experience was outstanding from the pick-up to the heating-up. The food was delicious and got rave reviews from the whole family. The pies were excellent. We will do this again next year!

The store part was crowded with…

The store part was crowded with merchandise and people in line waiting to go into the restaurant. The restaurant was very loud. We had breakfast. The hash browns were called a casserole and at first bite it was tasty. However they were too rich and oily. The gravy for the biscuits was gloppy and thick and highly speckled with pepper. Spooned over a biscuit half was ok but the gravy cooled off immediately so only first bite was any good. The eggs and bacon were ok but again not very hot. However our server named Destiny is the reason for the stars I gave. She was friendly and professional.

What a change time has brought

The last few times have been so disappointing. We arrived around 1230 in the afternoon and they were already out of fried chicken. That happened on my prior visit as well.The mashed potatoes were cold. The country fried steak was good. The salad looked to be a few packets of ingredients in a bowl for me to mix. I never got my fried okra. Servers were overwhelmed. Ours basically took our order, dropped off our food and then came back with the check.So many changes over the years people from the 90s would not recognize this place. I think it trying to be a health food store.

Wake Up!

The menu keeps changing and quality control is slipping. This is presently my favorite go to place for home style comfort food and for the atmosphere. But why are you trying to push loyal diners away? Regionally, I was big fan of Bob Evans restaurants, which still holds on, but they too have lost their charm and suffer greatly for it. Same thing: revised menus, patron favorites are dropped and service has suffered. CB enjoys a unique position many other chains would enjoy and you keep messing with success. If you want sales to improve then return to where you started. Ditch the CEO with her grandiose ideas that appear part of the issue. Otherwise, I'll just look somewhere else. The hospitality business does not lack for competition and who knows, you may force me to look elsewhere and find something else I may like as well, or better.

Chicken dinner only available on weekends, Rude! Just effing rude and wrong. I wont be going to Cracker Barrel anymore. It used to be my favorite restaurant. I'm done!

Cracker barrel in baraboo Wisconsin. Martha was our waitress she was friendly was on spot with Everything. Food was the BEST TASTING ANYWHERE. We were 💯 Satisfied. Food TASTING like Grandma's. We loved Everything. Would give more 🌟. We will Definitely back.

I recently attended cracker barrel for birthday celebration, from the start our server was extremely forgetful, no utensils no napkins ever brought until asked numerous times drinks missing and food completely wrong I asked for breakfast special which did not come with any meats server asked if I wanted to upgrade to the mama meal which included a choice of meat which I agreed to and asked for turkey bacon when I received the food it had regular bacon not turkey I then ask the server about my turkey bacon she responds that they had none and assumed I wanted regular bacon (assumptions) I tell her I dont want the bacon and i have a different choice she says I can do ham which I replied with okay. She then comes with a small plate so that I can give her the bacon brought (i grabbed with my bare hands no utensils) she took the bacon and came back with ham. When I receive my bill I see I was charged for the bacon and additional charge for the ham yet she took the bacon and charged me for both. I asked why neither her or the manager knew. The manager at the Yuma location is a total morran and useless 😑 to say the least worse manager ever !!!!!! Stay away from the Yuma Az location, you will get lousy service!!!!

Cracker Barrel return of faulty decor

Cracker Barrel, Shallowford Road, ChattanoogaReturned two defective pumpkin lights, and the cashier Candi gave me attitude from the start. She was rude, dismissive, and acted like I was inconveniencing her for returning items that died within a day and a half.When I asked for my original receipt back, she had already crumpled it up and thrown it away — even though I told her I had another item on it I might need to return. She had to dig through the trash to find it and was annoyed the entire time. Completely unprofessional.The manager Michael was polite and handled things correctly, but Candi's behavior left a terrible impression. Very disappointing customer service at this location.

Worst meal ever and it cost $37.00. Ha Ha

My husband and I ordered our Thanksgiving dinner from Cracker Barrel. I am handicapped and its hard for me to get out. There were a lot of restaurants opened for Thanksgiving and never having a bad mealat CƁ I chose CB thinking it would be delicious. WRONG! The meal was absolutely awful. We don't like sweet potatoes but were not allowed to substitute. The turkey didn't have gravy and the dressìng was a small little square. Green beans were bad too. Everything was cold. Very small helpings. You could tell it was made the night before. It looked like it had been stacked. If they can't do better than this they should close for Thanksgiving? This horrible meal cost me $37. Happy Thanksgiving. I will never come back for Thanksgiving. Big mistake?
