worse santa ever..was my 6 year olds…

worse santa ever..was my 6 year olds words when she got home after visiting Crealy Christmas this year. my wife is writing a formal complaint. I just wanted ti get on here to ask people to avoid this place at all costs. I have had to remove the 'toy' she was given as it is dangerous. the skateboard, looks ok but be warned. The bearings are loose and the wheels dont fit. it doesn't have any grip tape on the deck so it is very stupid to let your child use this product. the event was awefull( went last year and it was lovely) this year people were headed through from 1 photo con to another. even the final one Santa refused to look as it wasn't the official paid foto. such a sad event. and to exploit kids joy at Christmas.. disgusting. I will be finding out who authorised the gifts as I will be reporting it as it is damn well dangerous. you must be low if you choose to rip off families at this time of year.

Crealy Christmas 2025

Crealy Christmas 2025. Massive let down!!! Please do not book. We have been before and it has been great this year half hearted Xmas effort for £18 a child. First part with shops and elves good. Exactly the same as previous years. Then made to walk through to a squashed room, where had to squeeze past people to make reindeer food, by yourself following instructions on the table, and then stand in squashed room unable to maintain any order or queue. So full of side eyeing parents trying not to lose their space. In previous years there has been a walk through if an icy scene, a directed cookie making session, and just generally more effort for the price... Remembering if course you have to pay for a day at crealy to access their Santa experience. Sorely disappointed by this point already. Anyway, then on to see Santa a chance to redeem crealy... Nope...nice outfit but with a very fake beard hanging off his face, literally just said 'what do you want for Xmas' with no char no build up felt rushed. Then instantly posing for photos they want to charge a fortune for .. took time over this bit as may gain more cash..... Never again crealy! Picking your gift in workshop remained a nice experience with lots of choice so at least crealy didn't change one thing. Feeling incredibly sad, skint and angry. Last year of believing for one of my kids wanted so much for it to be special!!

Not a good experience

A very expensive day out at about £85.00 for two adults and one small child. Although this price included a return visit within seven days, we had to nominate the return date then and there. We couldn't.It wasn't picnic weather so we bought burgers there. Two adult's and a child's burger meal was a few pennies short of £35.00!There were at least three power outages across the park during our visit which, of course, resulted in all rides stopping. We queued for various rides only to be told they were 'trying to fix it' or 'it'll be two minutes' or 'that's what I've been told, madam.' When power was returned on each occasion, the rides started moving again but without anyone on them because the staff who were in control did not have the authority to allow it. We queued (in the cold and wet) while waiting for someone to give this authority and gave up on several altogether. Crealy should be a great day out and an asset to the local area but the management of the park needs to improve communication with both staff and visitors and delegate authority to those who control the rides.

Halloween 2025…

We went to Crealy on 31st October 2025 - Halloween after going for Halloween last year.Last year was amazing so didn't think they'd match up to it again this year. How wrong were we, they totally exceeded our expectations again. Had a fabulous day, spooky houses and mazes were exceptional.Staff were friendly and scary people placed for Halloween were fabulous.Always a great place to visit, but would defo recommend for the Halloween experience. We went in the day but would love to go later in the evening when it's dark as they stay open later on Halloween event days. Can't wait for next year!

My kids

My kids, who are 12 and 10, love it. They are the reason we came. So, the entrance price was worth it.From an adults point of view, staff are friendly and helpful, could do with more toilets, food choices are good, but more covered or indoor seating is needed. Hopefully, in the future, more rides can be added. We enjoyed our day out and would recommend it to others.

Don’t waste your time.

Terrible experience today at crealy, nothing like it used to be. No improvement or investment. Aggressive member of staff in the adventure zone towards my 5 year old child, fingers crossed he speaks to the wrong person one day this way. Overpriced drinks and food, to advertise as the best in Devon is wrong. Save your money and go somewhere else.

We had a fantastic day at Crealy (well

We had a fantastic day at Crealy (well, two days actually as we used our return!). The queues are manageable (5-10 mins) and there’s plenty to do. We could sit with a Costa while my son played in soft play and the new photo pass for £15 is great value. The show in the big tent was fantastic and we had a truly wonderful day, both days!

Horrible company

Horrible company, treat their staff like dirt, particularly school leavers who are learning. Helena is rude, nasty & needs to be trained on how to teach kids the ropes instead of sacking them for making an error. Avoid this place. It's overrated & definitely don't work here. Appalling place

Concession tickets… what a CON

Concession tickets! What a CON! We paid more for concession tickets than we would have if we paid online. The reason we didn’t get them online is because you can’t. How does this work? What a disgrace Crealy. Pretending you offer a discount for Blue Light Holders, OAP’s, Disbaled…. Absolute rubbish and you should be ashamed that you pretend to offer this discount. When I asked to talk to someone to explain it to me the woman would not come and talk to me. When I asked the girl what her name was she said Hope, when I asked for her surname she refused to give it to me and said she is Hope from Guest Services. Can I just take this moment to congratulate Hope from Guest services on an impeccable job….. refusing to talk to a guest who has a query! This has absolutely ruined my day, what awful customer service Crealy!!

Amazing site, really inclusive for hidden disabilities, and overall amazing experience

I travelled to crealy from London with my daughter last June for a 4 night stay and although the journey was a nightmare, it was absolutely worth it. My daughter is literally sootys number one fan and sootyland was the most amazing experience for us. The sooty presenter "Sam" was just incredible! He addressed my daughter by her name whenever he saw us and recognising that she has autism, gave her all the time in the world as did all the other staff within the park. I made sure we had an access card with a queing symbol and crealy accepted this straight away and provided ride access passes. The site itself was stunning with views of the country side. All the staff at the resort were so lovely and friendly. I was so nervous as it was our first time far away from home but we felt relaxed immediately. The sooty lodge is just a dream!!! We are back again the end of June for my daughter's birthday and I cannot wait to tell her as she has asked to go back practically everyday since. She has even shed tears. Really amazing! Thank you all so much xxx

Well Crealy we have had a great…

Well Crealy we have had a great Christmas weekend. The girls had a brilliant time, despite not many rides being open on the friday night. Wasn't sure what to expect with the festive meal, but it was one of the tastiest Christmas dinners I've had in a while. Cooked beautifully and so tasty and delicious. Sorry forgot to take some pics of food. X My only comment would be the child's portion was far too small for 11 year olds. See you in the new year 🤶🎅🎄

Mascots

I loved it my family loved it and my (12yr old son) who is addicted to mascots got to walk around with the mascot and even run a show his face was shocked to see and the theme park is great (I know that food is expensive but it all does go to a good cause and the food is delicious) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was going to book this site until I…

I was going to book this site until I found out that you had to pay £35 for a trailer. I do not understand what this charge is for , when I am paying for the pinch in the first place . I think this is a total con and rip off . So if you are going to this site I would. Check with them first that you are not getting ripped of . Other sites do not charge for trailers when you already paying for the pitch as long as it fits on your pitch I do not see why I would have to pay this extortionate price . ITS JUST ANOTHER WAY TO MAKE MONEY OF YOU . THE SITE IS(CREALY THEME PARK &RESORT DEVON PLEASE BE AWARE .

Disappointed by Lack of Accessibility for Children with Hidden Disabilities

I recently had a disappointing experience at the Crealy Park Theme Park & Resort during our stay. We booked our visit with the expectation that the resort would be accommodating for my son, who is on the autistic spectrum. Unfortunately, we encountered significant barriers to accessibility that severely impacted our day.Despite my son’s sensory and cognitive challenges making waiting in queues extremely difficult, he was denied a ride access pass solely because he does not receive the high-rate mobility component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA). This policy is not only arbitrary but also discriminatory, as it overlooks the needs of children with hidden disabilities. The stringent criteria for obtaining high-rate mobility funding exclude many deserving children, effectively preventing them from fully enjoying the park's attractions. Our visit turned into a stressful ordeal rather than a fun family day. Managing my son’s needs in an unaccommodating environment was exhausting, culminating in a distressing meltdown that left us feeling humiliated and disheartened. Having to explain my son's disability to staff and other guests while waiting in line was an unnecessary strain that could have been easily avoided with reasonable accommodations.Crealy Park's policy fails to comply with the legal obligations under the Equality Act 2010 and the Disability Discrimination Act 1995, which mandate service providers to make reasonable adjustments for individuals with disabilities. The lack of recognition for hidden disabilities in their access policies is not only a missed opportunity for inclusivity but also a breach of their legal responsibilities.Additionally, the requirement for letters from GPs or medical professionals to justify why a child cannot queue is both costly and impractical. Most doctors are unlikely to write such letters, which further complicates the situation for families seeking necessary support. This policy adds financial pressure on families already navigating the complexities of disability. To improve the experience for disabled guests, I strongly recommend that Crealy Park implement a system that allows those who cannot stand in queues to return to the ride at a designated time. This would create a more equitable experience for all visitors.Overall, our experience at the Crealy Park Theme Park & Resort was far from the inclusive and enjoyable outing we had hoped for. Until significant changes are made to their accessibility policies, I would advise families with children who have hidden disabilities to carefully consider their options before visiting.
