BEWARE. BEWARE. BEWARE. THE CROOKS ARE BACK... lol
BEWARE.They are calling to "fix" their past, disavowing the creeps that cheated us. Don't believe them. I got 3 calls. The first time, they said, we'll "help" you but we can't get your website files back, and...oh, by the way, IF you give us another $400, we'll design another website for you! The 2nd call was more hopeful and promised me he would do his best to find my website files, thinking he might be able to, and oh yes, btw, we'll give you 8 months free to make things "right." He sounded sincere, and I think he was. I promised that I would take down my bad reviews if he followed through and kept in touch and kept his promises...The 3 rd call called on the heels of his call, about two weeks later. Btw, no, we can't give you 8 months free - it's not possible....but if you give us $_____, we'll......I HUNG UP.

This is a scam
This is a scam. They shut down our website and would not give us access until we signed up for their seo package.

Buyer Beware
Buyer beware. This is 100% a scan company. They got me for over $10K and delayed my project beginning by a year. I am in the process if filing a kawsuut.

Scams
Scams, all they want is money up front and delay so they can try and charge more. Do not believe the 5* reviews, just a scam to get suckers to pay them. I paid full fee, then they wanted more for something more, at that point they thought to get more out of me and that was the end. Look at all the bad reviews and run, do not be taken by these criminals. They know how to scam and delay, do not even think about joining them, will not even answer my phone calls and this will happen to you.

Keep your money in your own pockets
I give their logo department a star for doing a good. But the web group couldn't understand what I wanted nor were they seemingly willing. So I finally said no to the website because of all of the trouble. No refunds. I tell you they will trade and use that $$'s on another of their services. but I've not seen any results with that. Then I was told they could get a trademark put through the US Trademark and Patent office for 5 yr for $500. because they had all of the logo info the trademark office would need. After a few months I asking for some info from the trademark office about my logo TM and was told they would email it to me...now at least 4 month, nothing yet. Well today I got a bill from the Trademark office say I need to send them a check for $1420 within 10 days. So I really need the $500 Designfication and their many names they use and the $200 taken for a website that didn't happen. Then I have to find another $720 so I can have the trademark. Plus they are hard to get hold of. I'm ready to go to the BBB.I will wait for another week to see. I have called all 8 phone# with week leaving messages.

Original agreement was not honored
Original agreement was not honored. Part way trough the project, PM was changed. Then they started demanding additional money. Doubling the price. They refuse to complete the project as agreed and refuse to refund deposit paid. Nothing has been delivered. They also go by DesignFication, TheWebProvider, SmartStartupSolution, and others. Beware!

Beware of scams!!!
Beware!!! My partner started working on her skincare products during the pandemic, and we contacted designfication to help us with website design. From the get-go, there was something shady about their way of doing business; very pushy business tactics, and in less than two months, our project had been tossed around among three people already, at least, which I found weird. After some search on the internet, a guy by the name of Kevin contacts me from designfication, and after some back and forth, he agreed to build the website for $400 for 25 products. Right away, he asks me for full payment before work commenced, and I asked him why not, at least, make part payment up front and the rest once the project is done? He insisted it's how they do their work. I went ahead with the payment with the expectation that I would get some document or at least some breakdown of what comes with the $400 package. Nothing! I asked him about it, and he said because "the $400 is usually not what they charge" he could not provide anything. That was a red flag for me, but I had already made the payment so I decided to ride along. I was then assigned a different person (Mark) who asked me to fill out a questionnaire, and right before they began "working" on the website, they asked if I wanted to add 'live chat' and 'payment method integration' to the project to which I answered in the affirmative, but then I was told they came at extra costs. When I asked why should I be paying for those when I had not been provided any breakdown upfront that stated clearly these "other services" were not included, I was told that's what my $400 covered. Then came Karen, the new project "manager", who basically parroted the same bs as previous "managers" when I asked about what exactly was included in my work. She even came up with yet other charges if I wanted them to do things like privacy policy, return policy, and some other contents. Finally, I had had enough, and when I decided to part ways with them and asked for a partial refund, I was told that my work was about 99% done when, in fact, all they had done to that point was to upload a theme, include an 'About' page which I provided them, include a phone number, and upload a logo(which I paid $50 for). Sadly, that's all my hard-earned $400 could get me. So my uncompleted website was handed over to me without any refund. On top of all this, the website was to be on a domain and hosting I purchased separately from another vendor, so all they had to do was to build the website and they failed to do so. To anyone looking to build a website, I would advise you to save yourself the headache and look for better and more affordable options out there. And if, for some reason, you still decide to go with designfication, don't let them push you (as they can be very persistent and persuasive) into making a full payment upfront without any form of signed agreement stating what is/is not included in your package. I have learned it the hard, I guess. Thank you.
