Love the knowledgable employees at DLC!

I put my cruise on "hold" using the website, but then I called to find out how to apply a 20% coupon and Cruise Next credits to the cruise. Deborah was so helpful and she explained all the details to me. It was all accomplished very quickly and I was able to add the insurance over the phone too. I am so grateful for the knowledgable employees that DLC has!

It was my 1st time on MSC Meraviglia

It was my 1st time on MSC Meraviglia. I had fun, but mishaps along the trip. First day, on Cruise very few coffee cups were available. I had to ask staff to find me a cup. Then, no enough plates. I paid extra to use Day Thermal Spa & guess what? No towels or water in water decanter. A few of us were waiting for a staff member to return but she never did after waiting (20) mins I went out to ask for a supervisor. Not off to a great start. Staff in dining allowed (1) Korean large group to monopolize the Cruise eating up all the fruit, actually my friends & I witnessed them bring empty bags to take fruit back to their rooms. I didn’t get any plums until the 5th day on a (8) day Cruise. Also, same group touching food with their hands & putting it back. I couldn’t take it anymore & ask them to plz stop. Norovirus is a thing in ships. Really bad manners & hygiene, my friends caught these men spitting in coffee cups after eating & blowing their nose in table napkins. I was so petrified to use any coffee cups or napkins it triggered me. I began walking w/ my own cup & taking it bk to my room to wash myself. I began eating In specialty restaurants to feel normal again. I told my agent when I returned & hoped they fixed these issues with letters to guest aboard to be mindful & courteous of other guest. Entertainment was fine & my friends we kept each other sane. The ship is beautiful with novelty chocolate & ice cream shops. Ohh the big event for me was the discount sale of Valentino handbags. I’m a Norwegian girl, but MSC took the show selling high brand bags for women & men at a serious discount. I got home & my gf’s were jealous. Hahahaha. My cruise was in July 2025 outta Brooklyn, NY port which is nice & easy to get by water ferry from Manhattan. It was like 10 to 12 mins & only cost $4.50If you take train or bus there it could take 1 hr 1/2 to get there dragging luggage. No TK U. Take the ferry off Wall St & East River. I’ll try another MSC but not locally bc u get the poorest ppl w/ bad manners or no manners aboard these vessels. If you must fly out the quality of ppl r a little better. Ijs. I recommend this Vessel even with the mishaps bc I’m hoping it’s an isolated thing. My agent said they got similar complaints bc the ship is so available to locals from Queens, Manhattan & Brooklyn. My friends flew in from Maryland & Washington D. C.

NO TRAVEL INSURANCE FOR PUERTO RICO

When i book on february 23 the 14 days cruise, i choose the option of the travel insurance because THE SYSTEM GIVE THE OPTION with my actual and permanent address. Then next day when i call directly asking for support, the customer service agent tells me that do too i live in PUERTO RICO they can’t offer the travel insurance. So why DLC offer one insurance that is not available for us citizens customers no matter where is the residence in US? And why they don’t have another plan for this “special cases”.
