Horrible company

Horrible company. Paid for a lifetime concierge service. Never used it, then went to use it, and they said they no longer offer the service. I asked for a refund because I never used it, and it was supposed to be a lifetime service, but they refused. There should be a class action lawsuit against this company.

Somewhere between shady and Fraudulent Subscription to deals you can find anywhere

Plain and simple, if a company provided a product of any value, they would not need to deceive customers in to a impossible to cancel reoccurring billing subscription. Think about it - how many legitimate businesses do you know of that will not provide a refund for unused services or pro rated refund? Few. Finally aside from atrocious billing practices - you won't find any deals that you can't find posted elsewhere on free deal sites.

Awful company

Awful company! I have complained and disputed this annual charge for a couple of years. They will not refund my fee. I’ve never used them ever in 3 years and have paid subscription and they will not refund the latest charge. I was certain that whe I complained last year they canceled my subscription but alas they charged me again and will not credit it. A total SCAM!

Absolute SCAM

Absolute SCAM! I signed up to the $1 free trial and cancelled on the last day. I received an email to say it had been cancelled but the full annual payment was still taken for the premium membership ($140) after I received this email. When I contact the support they came back with nonsense responses and refused to provide me a refund. Avoid at all costs! Should be called ScamFlightClub!

Two for one

Even as a paid member, I still get the 'free' alerts. My plans to get to Vienna were pretty expensive, but along came a free alert to Prague, saving almost $500 on each of the 4 tickets I needed. Now we get two cities, a nice train ride, and still saved money!

Terrible deals and deceiving auto-renewal emails

Terrible deal and deceiving auto-renewal email so customers don't notice that they will be charged again. The deals offered are not secret at all and often are absolutely second tier. I tried several times to use one of their deals and they were so limiting and bad, a few times I called and they kept piling up charges on top of what the 'deal' was. I never wanted to renew and never saw a renewal email. When I was charged I contacted them and they refused to refund, "their hands are tied" they said, and resent me the renewal email. The heading read "thank you for being a club member". Nothing about renewal. It had one page of images + one page of generic bla bla about their mission and only on page 3 after serious scrolling it stated my account was expiring. I never scrolled that long down of course as I had no idea it was about my subscription. In addition, contrary to FTC rules and laws it did not give an easy way to cancel, it did not state it was on auto-renewal and it did not state how much I was going to be charged. The email states a generic idea that Premium subscriptions were $99 or $69 or discounted. I was charged $109.44, never mentioned anywhere. I reported them to the FTC.

Extremely aggressive marketing

*edited after DFC replyGuys, it's simple if you want to avoid 1* reviews:Stop pretending that you have sent pre-charging notice - start doing itStop ignoring multiple unsubscribe notices - remove us from your lists. Extremely aggressive marketing - repeated emails received on a weekly/sometimes daily basis, despite several unsubscribe messages sent.No advance notice before attempting to charge annual fee.For customers from Europe suggested flight rates are not lower than what you can find on Skyscanner.

They promised a bunch of features but delivered none

They promised a bunch of features with their premium plan and delivered none. I got an email about once a month with flight prices that weren't anything special. That's about it. All other emails were promotional for themselves and a complete waste of money. When I tried to cancel, they refused to refund, stating they "had" to stand behind their policy... so I "had" to request a chargeback from bank just to get my money back. STAY FAR AWAY. If you are looking for a similar service, I'd recommend Going. Many more notices for great fares.

Do NOT sign up with this company

Do NOT sign up with this company. No deals I couldnt have found on any other discount site. Just massive amounts of junk mail that do NOT have deals that are anything special. NO notifications that it is going to renew, since it was cancelled after the trial, NO customer service number, NO NOTHING except computerized AI responses. Thank goodness I get notified every time a charge hits my card. Any other reputable company will cancel your account and send a refund. Not these shysters. They do not even have real people to talk to. Had to dispute it with my credit card company.

I never used flight club after week one…

I never used flight club after week one but it automatically renewed. I contacted them immediately but was told they couldn’t refund my money only give me some vouchers. They are one more site that uses the automatic renewal as a means of extracting money they didn’t earn!

Seems like they get you to trial to try to sneak renewal charges by you

Signed up for a free trial. Could not login and asked for help with no response. Forgot about it until I saw a $99 charge 180 days later. No warning about upcoming charges. Still can't login. Had to email them to cancel. They say they can't refund but offering a free additional year instead. Very scammy. Disputing the charge through the my credit card instead.

Completely Immoral Company

Completely immoral company. Apparently I must have signed up for a free trial at some point, but I never actually used the service. Once day I saw a charge on my card for $100 - apparently for a recurring subscription, but with no warning/authorization. I reached out to customer service and they claimed to have sent out an email prior relating to the transaction. After checking my inbox and junk folders, there was no email to be found. They refused to give me my money back. They left a comment saying they sent an email out, but that is not the case, that is them just trying to save face.

Affordable Flight & New Destination

Dollar Flight Club helped me save ~$200 on a domestic flight from the Midwest to Charleston, SC for a holiday weekend. It was great to take advantage of an affordable flight to a fun, new destination!

Horrible customer service, falsely inflated value, overall bad.

They inflate their original prices to make it look like they are offering deals. I was unimpressed during the 2 week trial with their flight deals, which hardly include the destinations in the US where I would want to go. On the last day of my trial, I cancelled my subscription but was already charged the annual fee. I contacted customer service and they refused to refund my money, after I told them I cancelled at the end of the trial. They offer incredibly poor customer service and do not offer any better deals than you may find searching on your own. I do not recommend DFC and in fact recommend you avoid using their service and tell everyone you know that they should not use this service.

Scam $ Shady business

They are a scam. They have put a charge in my account which I have never approved for. They also don’t have any contact phone number. It’s a complete shabby business where everything is scam. I am more than happy if they remove my charges which I have never approved for.

I landed a unicorn!

Using Dollar Flight club, I was able to get a round trip flight on a major Asian carrier from JFK to Nepal for $600 round trip at the very best time of the year to go! When I checked flights the next day, the SAME TICKET was costing $1800! It's still unbelievable to me that I locked in the ticket I got - on an exit row and with a checked bag, no less! - for 1/3 the going rate. Incredible! #customerforlife

Evil manipulative money-grubbing…

Evil manipulative money-grubbing company. They have charged me £50+ every year for three years and not once have I used or been aware of any paid service. Not a single email or receipt saying any payment was about to be taken or had been taken. I must've signed up to a 'free trial' many years ago and since then they've conveniently neglected to mention in any capacity that I have a paying membership or make apparent any benefits to paying for this scam service that whole time. I had issues even logging into the terrible website to see what on earth is happening and can still see no record of payments. Honestly don't even understand what this scam product is? Customer service is useless and rude with snitty responses- no refunds ever under any circumstances. Avoid like the plague!

Cancel free trial ASAP!!

Cancel free trial ASAP!!! SCAM company. These guys give you one year free trial in which you forget that you even have it because the site itself is USELESS. Then, they don't send any reminders before the free trial is about to renew because they know you have forgotten about the free trial and then don't refund either. Pathetic honestly.
