HORRIBLE & expensive
HORRIBLE & expensive. Problem with heat a few days ago and was told they’d be out and wld call first to confirm. My 86 year old mom and 12 to daughter were home. They knocked at the door, without a call, both of them know not to answer the door unless they know who it is. I call later to find out what happened and I’m told “we knocked and no one answered so we left, if you want them to come back, since it’s now the weekend and holiday holiday it will be twice the rate.”ZddxI figure out some makeshift ways to keep everything warm and made another appointment for today. This time I was told “ remember, make sure you’re there, because we knocked and you weren’t there and we won’t be able to stay if no one answers.”I was clear, “I’m taking off work I’ll be sitting in the front area during the two hour window you’ve given me.”This time, no knockSo I call and ask what’s up. I am told “we called to confirm the appointment two times before coming out! No answer, you have to confirm the appointment before we come out.”I explained that it was the exact opposite just a few days ago and I was told “ we always called, it’s a policy always.”I let them know, this is just my second experience, clearly it’s not “always“ bc The last time you knocked without calling and didn’t stay”I was told “well, that’s because our service person was really close in the area”I think you get the paradox, I tried repeating that back to her, but defensive and frankly the sweet little voice turned into an aggressive blaming one.So, as you can see from the photo, it all worked out terrifically!
