This place is a scam I ordered some seeds and some talc for $80 and it took weeks to arrive once it arrived the entire talc bag was open and all over the package I asked for a refund but they said I had to return the damaged package, I agreed since it was unusable, they never sent me the label. BEWARE THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM
I have reached out 4x and each time they apologize for not shipping my items and then promise it will go out the next day, or monday etc. Each time I get the same email.I have been waiting for over a month. I am so disappointed. I ordered the seeds for fall planting and they never came. I am now seeing all these other reviews and will request a refund from my CC company as I DO NOT trust this company to ship my items at this point. Their customer service doesn't even appear to be real, it is almost like a bot response. Stay away from this company. UPDATE: they finally shipped my items 5 weeks after repeated emails, threats and calling my cc company to cancel the order.
Placed an order in 10/10. Received empty promises of shipment. Promised 11/13 "..ship it out first thing tomorrow."still nothing. And now no more responses to emails. Now the weather has turned and my hopes to start my lawn early, are dashed. Wish I saw these reviews earlier
I placed an order on September 30, was charged the money, and after hearing no updates, contacted them to cancel the order (about $130) for a refund 10 days ago. They cancelled the order - but have still not refunded my money. Mind you, they were quick enough to charge me. I'm about to report them to my bank.
I HIGHLY ADVISE YOU STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY. I waited 40 days from my order of $300 to no word about my order. So I asked for a refund and got no one. The moment I disputed the charges with my bank they send me a delivery confirmation. It’s BS, at this point I don’t want any business with this company and just want my money back
So, I love the concept. I ordered. Never received the seeds. Lots of "we're busy" responses to email inquiries. Finally disputed transaction with credit card. Public response was to send the seed free. email to me was 50% off. These guys are scammers. Buy local. Walk past this crap
I ordered some wildflower seeds and cover material on 9/29/25. The email said it would ship in 28-48 hours and I would get a link when it shipped. 7 days later, nothing from them. I emailed and got a response in a day from someone name Jim who said he would get right on it and make sure it was shipped right away. It was 7 days as of 10/21. I called and had to leave a message suggesting they are a scam. No response still. Don't buy from them!
I ordered $100+ of seed a month ago. It still hasn’t arrived. Frost is imminent and so my plan of a fall planting may not occur. They charged my credit card the day of the order though. Your first order is 15% off. Then you get email after email offering 30, 40, and 50% off. Plus they charge for shipping.
I got one order, I was happy with the result so I ordered again. That was 3 weeks ago. No shipping update, no response from customer service (email or Call). Nothing. No way to get in touch with them. Stay away.
Find alternate supplier. I am now receiving a couple of emails a day making all kinds of offers, they still cant seem to ship out order placed three weeks ago. I have seen companies do this to get as many orders as they can and then they cease to exist. Have written and called to see if I can get a refund. Not going to hold my breath though
I should have read all the reviews. I'm a lot more impatient than some of the other people who posted here. I have only waited 2 weeks before I contacted the Earthwiseseed, but so far have had no luck with getting through to them after 2 VMs, 3 emails and a message on their website and I'm worried now that I have been scammed so in the meantime, while I hope that someone will call me back, I disputed the charges on my credit card so I can at least buy seeds from somewhere else.
I ordered seed to install 3 " Bee Lawns, so far,for residents of a condo association. I have no idea where the complaints of poor service and a poor product are coming from. I leftva message stating that I had questions and was called back within two work days and all my questions were answered in one phone call. My seed arrived when promised and after following the instructions on their website I had clover germinating after three days and grasses after ten days. Ignore the bad reviews and place your order.

Still waiting for refundI placed an order and only received a part of it. The first email I sent was answered with the message of apology, the item was being sent by a third party and they would get right on it.After not hearing anything back and seeing on the website that my order was on "hold" I sent another email requesting a refund.That was over a month ago and two addition emails and a phone call have gone unanswered.I did get some seed. So far, only the grass seed seems to have sprouted. I would not recommend dealing with these folks.
Even though the initial product was decent, the second item (Truegrass Native Lawn, which is uber-expensive) didn't grow. I sent pictures and was told that it was growing ("coming through" was the exact term), when in fact it is NOT. A rip-off considering the back-and-forth via email, without any offer of a refund; this is not a good way to do business.
I waited a very long time for the seeds I ordered. Six weeks. I was shocked when they arrived because I had previously ordered low-grow wildflower seeds for my no-mow front lawn from two other great companies - therefore I hadn’t realized that the seeds I had ordered from Earthwise were stated in ounce terms not in pounds (or fractions thereof). So I had paid a shocking amount. But I said “oh well” and planted them. They did not germinate. But the seeds from the other two companies that arrived in only days and were vastly less expensive - are profuse and abundant.
As many others have stated, this seems to be a shame company that does not actually do any business. I ordered March 23rd, and for 6 weeks had no notifications of shipping. After reaching out to their customer service May 12th, I was told my order was delayed but would be shipping out by the beginning of the following week. Now over two weeks later, all I've received is an apparently fraudulent shipping notification, as the link to track my order leads only to the order confirmation (with no shipping/tracking information) on their website. Do yourself a favor and do not order from this company, seems like another drop-shipper or scam company that pushed their AI ads onto social media to increase revenue and disappear.
I order during the period when there were delays. While it did take a little while, I am thrilled with the products. It's coming in beautifully in some shady spots where I've struggled to grow grass. I got the PetLawn mix.
I ordered on April 20th, and still haven't received my order. I emailed them multiple times and they said they were waiting on more stock. My advise, is show stuff online as out of stock until you have it in. I am absolutely not going to order from here again as it's unreliable and I missed the perfect window of time to plant my seeds.
My experience with shipping was horrible!I finally received my order over a month late.Among other things, I ordered the Humming Bird wildflower mix.Today, I planted the seeds. I have to say, it looked like a nice, healthy variety.I will come back and report on germination rate and will post pics.They do seem like a good company, despite shipping probs.
