Sent item to wrong address. Poor/mostly zero response to emails and phone calls to try and find out what was happening. In the end, gave up trying to get a response from them, so contacted credit card company to seek a refund. Would label this as zero stars but that is not an option. Avoid at all costs......

Exceptionally poor delivery timelines
Ordered a part - they then waited two days and emailed to say "are you sure?" - we replied, double checked compatibility in case they had a point, replied next day. They then waited 5 more days to reply back saying "are you sure you want to order this?" - bearing in mind they had our money from the beginningSmells of someone trying to delay ordering from suppliers due to poor cash flowIt's now been almost a month and we still don't have our parts

Gone missing - sent to wrong address - slow to respond
Ordered this and paid next day to have it sent to my son - did not arrive. Turns out they sent it to my invoice address instead. No response to emails, no apology when I phoned - just 'a thanks for bringing it to our attention'. Surely a quick refund/replacement as the seller clearly sent it to the wrong address and it has gone missing as a result of their error? Very hard to get on the phone - disappointing response when I did. Still waiting.

They listed an item for £0.99 but didn't send the item, ignored my emails for 2 days, then on the third day, they said it was listed at the wrong price and refunded me, as they would not honour the online price.

‘Bargain’ R&M Charger 4
I purchased a R&M Charger 4 online at a great price. Love the bike now that I have it. Just a couple of issues to note. The delivery company (TNT) were terrible, they had the bike 2 weeks then returned it back to the Cambridge store, not really EBS fault, the chap on the phone was very helpful. The other issue was concerning the front disc brake, it hadn’t been aligned so was rubbing against the pads. My local bike repair shop solved the issue, but did mention the retaining screw had been rounded out. Overall I recommend EBS and would buy from them again. The bike I purchased was significantly less cash than an alternative retailer next to London Bridge station.

I sent my e-bike for repair, which required a few visits to get to the bottom of the problem. Eddie replied incredibly promptly to my numerous queries, even during weekends and including Sunday evenings. His attention to his customers is particularly noteworthy.

great independent ebike shop
owner took great trouble in resolving my issue /experience.Whilst the interaction couldn't be changed, it had happened. I was made aware that the manager had a bad back at the time. Electric bikes are great and this small company does its best. If you encounter issues that can't be resolved at the shop floor then the owner is passionate about his business and customers to get involved and to try to make things right. If I hadn't have had the bad experience with the shop manager than this would be a 5star review. Consumer experiences are increasingly bottom of the agenda once a company has made the sale, however not for electricbikesales.co.uk they care about their product and their customers. So if you are thinking of an bike, this place is great, if you have any issues that can't be resolved in the shop by the manager then email Eddie and he will ensure that a fair and reasonable solution is reached.

I have used the Electric Bike Sales for a number of years and they have kept my fairly aged A2B Electric Bike in good order. This time they have surpassed themselves, complete rear wheel rebuild, new handlebar electrics and discs.The options were clearly explained, the work carried out in good time and at a very reasonable price.I highly recommend their knowledge and skills.Situated just off the Elizabeth Way roundabout in Cambridge, an absolute must for either purchase or servicing.
