Horrible customer service if you need any kind of assistance
It’s great if your test goes smoothly and everything registers correctly, but if you actually need to get something fixed or get something resolved, you cannot get any response from customer service. The idea is great, but I highly recommend you go to a different company.

I would avoid Everlywell at all costs
I would avoid Everlywell at all costs. I bought a Food Sensitivity test at Rite Aid, and when I went to register it, they said they no longer supported that "version" of the test. I contacted customer support, but they refused to replace the kit unless I could provide proof of purchase... from a store that's out of business.

Simple and reasonably fast
I wanted to do a lipid panel between dr. appointments to check progress on my a1c and my cholesterol. I ordered a test. The test was easy to complete with the video instructions and simple printed instructions. I mailed it on a friday and had my results on Tuesday.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They need better descriptions of their products. I bought a machine that i thought was going to save me money on testing. The product does not mention the machine is for single use only. You think being a machine that you would be able to use it multiple times. It is such a waste on our landfills and our my wallets to create a machine for single use only. I was very unhappy with the poor description and of course i bought it thinking different. When i found out it was single use only i contacted Everlywell and they refused to let me return my purchase and refund me. They didn't even offer a partial refund for their poor product description that i find very misleading. I feel scammed and im very unhappy. I never complain either but for the amount of money i spent i am pissed enough to complain.

The entire process was easy and efficient. The information provided on the foods I have some level of sensitivity to has been helpful in making me feel better quickly. Also, the recommended procedure on how to add back foods over time I believe will enable me to determine which foods I might be able to eat periodically.

Second time taken the testosterone test…
Second time taken the testosterone test and it keeps failing do to not enough blood 🙃. I made sure to add alot blood even prick 2 finger to insure I had enough blood .I fill the circle up with blood waited couple Seconds and added more I was try to over exaggerating with the blood amount I was adding and still not enough blood really piss me off .waste of time won't be requesting another test I just wasted 90$

I had a very frustrating experience with Everlywell. I submitted my sample only to later be told that my kit was expired, and Everlywell refused to send a replacement kit.At no point did the kit clearly state that it was expired, nor did the app warn me before submission. In fact, the kit appeared in my account up until delivery, and the app even allowed me to schedule a reminder to submit my sample as late as January 2027. This reasonably implied that the kit was still valid.Had I been clearly informed that the kit was expired, I never would have gone through the painful process of pricking my finger and submitting a sample. The lack of clear instructions to check expiration dates, combined with misleading app information, reflects poor communication and customer service.This situation could have been easily avoided with clearer guidance, but instead I was left frustrated, inconvenienced, and without a resolution. I expected better transparency and support from a health testing company.

Covid-19 test kit by Medicare
I was told that insurance’s don’t cover COVID-19 testing but Medicare does. So I Google it. And it does state Medicare covers the test kit. So I called my Humana Medicare Medicaid office, who gave me Everlywell’s members phone number. Stating they will send me out a free test kit. On Jan 16th 2026 I called Everlywell at 2:50pm, she was rude direct and ugly. I always introduce myself addressing their name how are you. But when I asked for her name she said you called Everlywell why do you need my name. I said if you’re going to be ugly, I can call back to somebody else. 2nd time calling at 2:51pm. Bryan had the same direct attitude, was very short. I asked if everything was OK? Because everyone seems to be very short with attitude on the phone calls. He hung up on me. The 3rd time 2:54pm spoke with Colin with the same attitude. I didn’t say anything, but answer his questions. His response was we don’t do that. I said Humana gave me your number and stated that Medicare covers the Covid-19 test kit sent through mail. He said NO. I said I will let Humana know. And real quick Colin said k and hung up the phone.

My cheap Insurance sent me a fecal at home test kit from Everlywell. Got the results but my PCP NEVER RECV'D THEM! I have followed up FOUR xs w Everlywell to get MY results again (deleted email). RIDICULOUS IMPOSSIBLE working w them!!! Get told differing info each x, sign in not working, won't Fax or email me. GO ELSEWHERE!RESPONSE to Everlywell: WHY would I waste MORE of my time when I've already both phoned & emailed sev xs to the info you left below with NO HELP, ASSISTANCE RESOLUTION?!?!?@

Buyer beware. Even if you select the one time purchase option you still have a subscription. Also, I get visual package notification on packages and it comes from China and is re-packaged here in the States. I was told I could return the product and get a refund. Still waiting for a response.

Not accurate at all
After performing numerous other food sensitivity tests I decided to pay for the complete food sensitivity test with Everlywell. The results were crazy. I could not figure any of the results and you can only email with people who are not helpful. It was explained that the test only recognizes foods in your bloodstream on that day. So, at the time I was avoiding gluten and had not consumed any on a month. No sensitivity to gluten was registered. I eliminated gluten because a previous doctor administered blood test recommended that I eliminate gluten. Because I had eliminated gluten the Everlywell test did not register any sensitivity to gluten. Then even more bizarre was that I supposedly had shellfish in my blood. I have not consumed any seafood - of any kind - in 50 years. Even my supplements come in vegan capsules with no fish. It would have been nice if I could have spoke to someone about my results - the website gives the impression you can discuss your results - however, you can only "discuss" over email. Overall, the test was a complete waste of money. If you are thinking of using an online service, I found CheckMyBodyHealth.com to be useful. I have tried most of the services, and Everlywell is by far the worst. The idea is great. The execution poor.

I am satisfied with the test and its results, I am not satisfied that I have to use Chrome as my browser to see the results. EVERY contact I have now does not recognize me and I have to prove and prove again who I am. It is time consuming and annoying.

Refusal to Honor a Valid Test Kit — Unfair and Unprofessional
I purchased an authentic Everlywell test kit on eBay in 2021, fully sealed and clearly branded by Everlywell, with an expiration date in 2026. When I tried to register the kit on their website, I received an error stating that the test was no longer supported.After contacting Everlywell, their customer service repeatedly refused to process my test, claiming it was sold by an “unauthorized reseller,” even though the kit was genuine, unexpired, and purchased in good faith. Later, they changed their reasoning and said the test was “discontinued.”This is unacceptable — the product was sold as an official Everlywell kit, and nowhere in their 2020–2021 terms of service did they state that valid, unexpired kits purchased from secondary markets would be refused. A company should honor its own branded products and not penalize consumers for resale channels it failed to control.Everlywell’s responses were inconsistent and dismissive, and they have offered only a small discount rather than standing behind their product. I’ve asked for either fulfillment of the service or a proper resolution, but they continue to deflect responsibility.I strongly caution others to avoid buying Everlywell kits. This experience shows poor accountability and disregard for customer trust.UPDATE: Thank you for replying, but your explanation still does not address the core issues: 1. False Positive On Test
I took an STI test from Everlywell and it told me that it was positive for Hepatitis C. I have never used a needle or been around needles in my life which is truly the only way to transmit HEPC. Their tests claim 99% certainty with test results.I went to my doctors office and they said they frequently see false positives from at home testing, and not to worry. My doctor was right, my test was negative for everything. What a ridiculous way to find out and a week of stress and anxiety to worry over nothing. I do not believe any of their tests are that accurate.
