It is easy to use and gives the best results.
Program keeps logging me out and requiring me to reenter my information- sends a code to my email and I don't receive it in either my general or spam. then I'm required to wait 1-3 bd for a response which is inconvenient when my editing it designated to weekends.
The app works great, I've used it to edit family photos and I'm very satisfied.
Photo-editing services don’t work. I make the blemish removal edits and, when I like the edits made, select Export. The app and browser then proceed to offer me an UNEDITED image for download. I have submitted a detailed explanation along with a photo and screen recording of the issue I’ve had and requested a refund, and customer service continues to give me the runaround.
love how easily retouching has become!!
I didnt get the free credits that I was supposed to receive on Jan 16th from the Imaging USA show?
using Evoto since 5-6 years now and i have to say its one of the best programms for editing and retouching. But in a time where money and work gets every day weaker, i cant afford it anymore. i bought 9000 credits for 480 € because iam a wedding photographer, i found a new option retouch4me, quite similiar to evoto and have to go on with that. If in future comes a one payment option, i will come back, but for now, thank you.
The Headshot Generator controversy showed exactly how little Evoto respects its users.Instead of being transparent from the start, the company reacted only after users complained. That’s not how you treat paying customers.Trust is everything when you’re dealing with AI, images of real people, and professional work. Evoto completely failed on that front. Even if the software works, I no longer feel comfortable supporting a company that handles things this way.
Evoto launched an AI headshot generator that directly competes with professional photographers—their own customer base. When caught, they claimed it was a mistake, but evidence shows they’ve been marketing this tool since summer 2024. Their apology is full of untruths and feels like damage control rather than genuine accountability. What makes this worse: Their Terms & Conditions reveal that by using their software, photographers granted Evoto an irrevocable, royalty-free license to use uploaded images to train AI algorithms and improve their products. In other words, we paid them to edit our photos while unknowingly training the AI tool that would replace us.Key T&C concerns:• Irrevocable license means you can’t take back permission once given• They can use your content to train algorithms• They can sub-license these rights to others• The license is worldwide and applies to future mediaAs a professional photographer who relied on Evoto for editing, discovering they were secretly building tools to replace us while using our own work to do it is a massive breach of trust.Photographers: be aware that this company sees you as both customer and competition. Consider alternatives that actually support the photography community rather than undermining it.
Would have been five stars until..This company made professional photographers lab rats. Using our input and work to develop a consumer facing AI tool that in their own words replaces the need for a photographer. The first response was some weird “apology “ that something they were testing “accidentally went live”Then finally an apology but too little too late. And now they buried portrait and headshot tools in some other site they have for art. Trustpilot won’t allow the link here.Complete breach of trust and lack of ethics. Maybe you should have given us photographers ownership in your new business venture since you couldn’t do it without us!
Stop AI generated headshots! You're putting the industry that supported you and you made millions off, out of business! Stop
Using my professional photographs to create an AI headshot generator is shameful. Do not recommend!!
I’m very satisfied with Evoto. The software is intuitive, fast, and delivers high-quality results, especially for portrait retouching. The AI tools save a lot of time while still allowing good control over the final look. Overall, Evoto has become an important part of my photo editing workflow, and I’m happy with the results it provides.
I’m 45 year old and their customer service and support are the worse I’ve ever experienced in any field in my entire life. I have a transcript of my ticket with the support that will leave your jaw dropped to the floor. Their software is ok I’ll give you that. But extremely buggy, slow and crashes all the time on my Mac M4 Pro. And now the icing on the cake they have used all our images to train AI to develop a app that will take our jobs away. This should go down in history.
Shady company - just shot the photographers who made this company what it is in the foot - offering a cheap alternative - AI headshots - great - I get it - company wants $ - but to do this DURING IMAGING and in such a blatant way - shameful - gross company.
Selling out photographers who have supported them.
Using your customer’s data to backstab them is not cool. You are the paramount example of how an ai company should NOT behave
They sold out their customers by using us to design AI software that damages our profession. We can no longer trust them with our photos or money.
This company built an empire in the photographer community, quickly becoming an integral part of professional workflows, especially for headshot photography. It’s expensive but worth it in time saved alone. Then, yesterday they rolled out a fully featured and *good* AI Headshot Generator, which is free. It’s a stab in the back to their very customer base. Their aim is to put headshot photographers out of business, the very people that are paying them software subscription fees. Now we will probably see that app get rebranded and released under a brand new name, so they can get their money from both sides. Evoto is probably the most unethical business in the industry.
Evoto built its business on the backs of headshot photographers. Then they turned around and released a full-blown AI headshot generator website. Here are some phrases from their marketing:-"Compared to a traditional headshot studio, it's faster (seconds vs. days), cheaper (cuts studio costs), and more flexible. It is an online business headshot near you. Generate heashots anytime, no bookings needed, with similar pro quality."-"Create consistent, professional TEAM headshots that align with your brand, fitting office profiles, email signatures, or client materials, while saving time and studio costs."-"You get 5 free headshot styles, and can download 2000 profile photos for free!"
