I booked the Mayfair in Paris for $80 less per night than what I found at other sites! My client was thrilled as he has stayed at this hotel before and really wanted to stay there again. Thanks for making your website easy to navigate and make a booking.

first time I used excellent hotels. found the pricing very good with speedy replies. Was able to complete booking with confirmation in only a few hours. plan to use them again.

Hassle free.
All of the hotels I booked provided very good value for the prices paid. Usually the first or second hotel on the list worked best for us. Good value for the money and all check-ins were very quick if you had your printed voucher. Would definitely use them again for my European travels.

The website is easy to read and navigate. It isn't filled with visual clutter and the directions are intuitive. Making a reservation should always be this easy.

Sometimes Details Matter...!
We have booked hotels with Excellent Hotels on numerous occasions. Prices are usually below those through other sites such as TripAdvisor. But recently, for hotels we booked in several cities in Spain we had difficulty understanding the price structure offered--same offer "Room, without meal"..etc" but with two fifferent prices. No explanation for the different apparently similar room offers. This needs clarification. Service is very good but for one issue--Excellenthotels DOES NOT tell you that you need a Voucher which will follow--sometime--at some later time than the actual room apparent confirmation you receive immediatley. Finally, we are Canadians and whilst live in harmony with the United States our place of residence is NOT the USA. Yet every booking confirmation lists us our Residence as " US". We much prefer instead, the wonderful disignation Canadian. No offense USA but we are 100% Canadian and our residence is Canada NOT the USA. Maybe that is why we never receive discount coupons!

Overall experience was very satisfactory so far.
The only downside of the booking for my situation was that I had received a 10% off Coupon per e-mail from Auto Europe for Excellenthotels.com right AFTER the fact that I had booked with Excellenthotels and could not apply these savings anymore towards my Hotel booking unless I would have cancelled my Reservation and would have booked it again. I did not do this as I didn't want to have that hassle. It would be nice if one could take advantage of offered discounts and go back to those reservations in a certain time frame and apply such discounts. Everything else is very easy and convenient.

Excellent Price - Documentation Never Sent
I had to find a hotel room for two clients of mine who had a schedule change at the last minute and didn't have time to call hotels and contacts regarding rates for tour operators. I chose Excellent Hotels because I've worked with their sister company, Auto Europe, a lot on finding really excellent prices on car rentals. I was right, the cost of the room was great! The only issue that I experienced was that I never received a confirmation email. I am not sure if all I need is the reservation numbers or if I needed a voucher for my clients so I think I will need to call to make sure.

Will not accommodate customer when unpreventable issues occur
Excellent Hotels would not help me in any way when I was unable to make my hotel reservation due to a natural disaster. Due to hurricane Sandy my flight was cancelled and I wasn't able to make my hotel reservation, and they did nothing to help me in this situation. They would not refund my money, would not let me re-book my trip or extend my days, and did not offer me any type of voucher. The customer service was extremely poor too. There prices are good, but I would not recommend them to anyone, because they are not at all about helping or accommodating the customer.
