I love how easy it was to follow his videos. I really learned a lot from his course and I still am. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great discussion of the technical…
Great discussion of the technical aspects of drone-based film making. I've only paid attention to the DaVinci aspects, but these are helpful.More attention to story-telling and how to develop and plan clips to support a story would be VERY useful. This could be based on simple examples such as showcasing a home for sale, identifying park locations/activities that one might be interested in marketing to local citizens, or storytelling about a trip where voice-over is combined with compelling images.

I've found out, this is not an easy job!
What I love about this course is you can go back and watch any of the tutorials again and again. Mr John is so talented I think sometimes he forgets he's talking to a bunch of beginners. He just flies through the material which I totally understand, which prompts me to watch the tutorials over and over. Overall, really good stuff and I'm so happy he's helping me learn.

Excellent Course!
This course is great! I really like the streamlined layout. Another great feature is the discussion board and the weekly online meetings. I feel better equipped to create professional drone videos.

Great Results With Flying Filmaker Course
The flying filmmaker course is fabulous. In particular, the detail explanations are concise, easy to understand and have great examples. The course covers all aspects of using the drone properly and enhancing with post processing techniques. I gained significant knowledge and confidence from the course with great results in a short period of time.

John does an excellent job of fully explaining the creative topics as well as specific info for each drone. I have the Mavic 4 creative so this is invaluable for me to get the best out of the sensors.

Great learning experience!
I've had great experience learning drone film making with the flying film maker course and have found it very informative and enjoyable as I think anyone at any level that wants to learn or get better at creating drone videos would. It covers everything from choosing equipment, drone settings, flying skills to get the best cinematic shots, editing and color grading videos plus a whole lot more. I would have to say cost wise it’s a very good value.John is a wonderful instructor and is very good at taking complex and difficult things to understand, just one example would be color grading, and breaking them down and explaining them in a simple and easy to comprehend way.I highly recommend this course to anyone just starting out or interested in getting better at making drone videos.
