My husband is in the hospital and has had multiple issues with the PD dialysis machine, unfortunately in the middle of the night. We are more focused on getting the machine/treatment to work and getting back to bed then calling and logging the issues in the middle of the night. He has had to skip treatments due to machine issues and do half treatments, and now is in the hospital. I am trying to line up a working machine by the time we get home, and because we did not troubleshoot at the moment of the issue, they can not line up a replacement. You mean to tell me that this billion dollar company that designed smart medical equipment does not have the ability to pull the error code and history / information from the patient name and clinic information? Spoke to a manager and she just reinstated the policy instead of thoroughly trying to look into the situation and machine to fix the issues. We are dealing with peoples lives not profits and policies.
