I realize that Freeway is a broker that sets you up with a moving company. The company we were paired with did a great job however the estimate we received was doubled. Make sure and get a binding contract before you sign.Responding to your thought:I beg to differ on your response. The problem was you couldn’t do an in-house estimate. We removed a lot of things that were on the list and we really added very minimal so if anything we cut down what was being shipped we sold a lot of stuff to get it down so your response back to me is not correct. I was just thinking about it after your response. I definitely could not recommend you as a service. I would stay away if somebody asked me.

TOP NOTCH MOVE
My wife and I went online to procure quotes for our move from upstate New York to south Florida. One person and one quote stood out above the rest. Dave McLaughlin at Freeway Relocation. He took a thorough inventory of what needed to be moved, he explained the whole process in detail and he addressed our concerns. He put a firm, reasonable price in writing and the truck and crew were only delayed on making delivery by one day, due to heavy snow along the way. I highly recommend this company. 5-Stars!

I am writing this to warn others about my experience with Free Way Relocation. Despite giving them a clear, organized list of every item and measurement, the quote they provided was nowhere near accurate. When the movers came — from an entirely different company I was never told about — they immediately said the estimate was completely wrong and that the actual cost would be almost twice as much.The communication after pickup was just as frustrating. I repeatedly tried to get updates, and every time I was told someone would call me back. No one ever did. Days went by with absolutely no information about where my belongings were or when they would arrive.Another major red flag: they took a credit card for the initial booking, but then refused to accept credit card for both pickup and delivery. Only cash or Zelle. That alone made me feel very uneasy and misled.The delivery was then handled by yet another separate company, which was never mentioned during booking. At no point did they tell me multiple companies would be involved, and this lack of transparency is unacceptable.Overall, this was one of the most unprofessional and misleading moving experiences I’ve ever dealt with. I strongly advise others to stay far away from Free Way Relocation.

If i could i would give it a zero. My experience with Free Way Relocation was nothing short of a nightmare. I gave them every single detail they asked for — exact item sizes, quantities, and even photos — and they still gave me a completely wrong quote. On the day of pickup, a different company (that I was never informed about) showed up and told me the quote was way off and that the cost would be almost double. At that point, I had no choice but to move forward.From pickup to delivery, there was zero communication. Every time I called, all they said was “We’ll get back to you,” and then never called back. It felt like they just disappeared with my belongings.To make things worse, they accepted my credit card for the booking, but suddenly refused to take credit card at pickup or delivery — only cash or Zelle. That alone felt incredibly shady and unprofessional.When my items finally arrived, it was done by yet another company, again something they never disclosed. So in total, my belongings were handled by multiple companies I never once agreed to, and Free Way Relocation took absolutely no responsibility.This company is misleading, untrustworthy, and completely lacking in transparency. I would never recommend them to anyone. Save yourself the stress and choose a mover that actually communicates and honors their quotes.
