DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

I never write reviews for anything but I don't want someone else going through the drama I am currently experiencing. I bought a 2020 a45s off global automotive for £37,000. no finance. 10 days into owning the car doing no more than 1000 miles ( I live in London, so 3-400 miles was to drive home ) the car completely cut out and stopped working. I called saying my issue to them "junior" he said find out what was wrong with the car. I decided an hour later I no longer want the car and want a full refund as I've just spent £37,000 on a car for it to stop working and not turn on after 10 days of ownership they refused, dispute me informing them about my rights they said take it legally which I am currently in the process of doing but have spent a fortune for court fees and solictors fees. 6 months later I'm still now over 40 thousand pound out of pocket (including fees) with a non functioning car. just to add the car has been diagnosed by MERCEDES themselves and the cost to repair the car is in excess of 2 and a half thousand pound DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

AVOID THIS GARAGE AT ALL COSTS they…

AVOID THIS GARAGE AT ALL COSTS they come across nice at first then when they have your deposit and the cars delivered with major issues they don’t want to know car was delivered on a open trailer as soon as the delivery driver started the car up PLUMBS OF BLUE SMOKE COMING FROM THE EXHAUST!!!! immediately rang the garage only to be told it’s (NORMAL) because the car had been in long time storage well if that’s the case why did it do it after been driven on the trailer and started up again after only 4 hours I Accepted the car (MERCEDES E CLASS 1.8 petrol convertible) to find if the car had any other issues which it did SLIPPING Auto Gearbox and a OIL LEAK plus severe Vibration when in natural before putting into Drive and very heavy Steering I’ve owned the 3 just over 3 weeks and still on LOG BOOK !!!!! I tried contacted the garage to reject the car only for at first to be told they would take it back an hour later they rang me with the salesman being very RUDE and arrogant telling me not to contact them again deal with CLOSE BROTHERS CAR FINANCE with I’ve realised the complaint with also the car was Listed having FSH but this was not the case because 5 years was MISSING !!!!! the previous owner tried to run a MERCEDES on a LEMONADE budget so Again PLEASE AVOID THIS DEALER AT ALL COSTS because I’m still paying for tax/ insurance / finance for a car I don’t use

Very professional and respectful

Posting this here as I see they somehow blocked people from seeing it on Google:Very professional and respectful staff, refused to budge on the price but assured me the car is in exceptional condition, as in the many pictures they took showcasing this. Paid a deposit and went to collect the car. I got there 1 hr after their closing time, but one of the Directors so kindly waited for me to do the handout. Unfortunately I wasn't possible to drive the car more than 5 minutes at slow speeds due to the lateness but they were very persuasive and made me feel at ease and confident that, should something happen, they are interested in customer satisfaction first and foremost. I paid the car and left.On my way back I noticed the car is pulling to the left and also tyre pressure monitor sensor came on twice, saying I have a flat tyre (despite them all being fine).I took her home slowly and next day I went in for a check ...all 4 wheels had cracks, 3 of them already being welded previously, but cheaply ...they were full of deep scratches on the front and the cover-up paint was flaking. More serious than this was one of the front shocks being torn from what looked like an exploded tyre (the car is on Air Suspension and the shocks have rubber air bags) - needless to say I was concerned and immediately contacted them, they were so kind as to refund some of my money to put towards fixing the wheels and the driver seat heating which was also not functioning despite the car being advertised as "faultless". I was a bit concerned when they tried to make me put in writing the phrase "I accept this offer as a full and final offer for the vehicle X", but instead I said "I accept this partial refund for fixing items Y and Z on vehicle X" and thought nothing more of it...Got the wheels balanced, aligned, and all was good with the world, seemingly.Fast forward a week, when coming back to London from Ipswich on the A12, the car almost threw me in the dividing road barrier while in a bend.Mind you, I usually drive at 50-60 mph speeds, but that night I was doing 70. I did notice the car is "wobbly", squeamish, while changing lanes, but I said that might be the uneven road surface of the A12. Still, when it almost threw me off the road, I had to have it checked.Booked in next day at a Mercedes dealership for a full health check, the technicians spent 3 hours on the car and came back with a eye watering quote to fix all what was wrong with the car.At this point I was emotionally invested in the vehicle but I phoned Global Automobiles with my best "poker face" voice, saying I want to return the vehicle when in fact I was looking for an apology and for a refund that would make things right (mind you, the vehicle's trade market value was 6k and I bought it with 16k believing their add which read "faultless" and "exceptionally well looked after").The response I was met with was far from what I was looking for, they refused to consider a refund and said they're not looking to buy the vehicle back because it is no longer a 1 owner vehicle.Interestingly, that was a lie. The DVLA had confirmed multiple times on recorded calls that my name is "nowhere to be found in connection to the vehicle", so actually the vehicle was still registered to Global Automobiles and they were lying to me, refusing to take the vehicle back under false claims.I sought legal council and contacted them on the 31st of January.New V5 was issued on the 1st of February.I am currently waiting to go to Court against these people but I am experiencing financial difficulties due to the high unplanned expenses I have after dealing with such thugs !Shame GLOBAL AUTOMOBILES, shame! Especially “junior” the swindler. I advise any new customer(s) to BE CAREFUL WITH THESE PEOPLE !Responsibly,C A A

Unlawful Deposit Policy – Be Cautious

I placed a £1,300 deposit with Global Automobiles over the phone after seeing a vehicle online. I never visited their premises or saw the car in person. When I cancelled the order within 14 days—as allowed under UK consumer law for distance sales—they initially refused to refund my money.Owner of the business, "Junior", told me the deposit was non-refundable and only offered a partial refund (£1,000) on the condition that I signed away my legal right to pursue the remaining £300. I refused and sought legal advice.Only after weeks of pressure, formal written correspondence, and the threat of court action did they return the full deposit. I would urge anyone considering buying from this business to exercise caution and ensure you are fully informed of your consumer rights.

Customer service is everything...

I bought a Lexus GS 300H in December 2024. After performing necessary inspections with Lexus Dealership in my area, issues were discovered around the hybrid system and wheels (leaking air).Global Automobiles agreed to cover all the costs related to make sure those early ownership issues are resolved. Hopefully soon the car will be performing as it should.

Sold dodgy vehicle

Vehicle I bought off them broke down a couple of weeks later, they told me it was 'wear and tear' and the vehicle was 'too old' and they wouldn't do anything to help. Still were happy to sell me it for £9k though

Just sold my car to them and the markup…

Just sold my car to them and the markup they are making, with what appears to be little work is 43%, certainly any prep not worth that much. It was a black Mercedes c class SC63VEU they bid 7200 on motorway to win the bid and argued me to 6500. I was in a pickle so had to sell the car and didn’t want the trouble of re listing it. They have not much more than a week later for 9300. Just wanted whoever is thinking about buying the car to know. Times are hard for people and the second hand car market is taking a lot of people’s money. #usedcars #usedcardealers

Purchased a C class estate from Global last week and the service from Connor and Tracey was second to non. The whole team did a fantastic job preping the vehicle before i collected it and went above and beyond to make sure everything was done to the vehicle that i had requested. Would have no hesitation recommending Global Automobiles to anyone. Keep up the good work guys

Buying a used car at it’s finest…..

Came across these guys after scanning everywhere online for a used Mercedes C Class. Immediately impressed on arrival at the professional nature of the set up and business. Their inventory list was packed full of immaculately presented vehicles with great histories. I’m over the moon with my C Class and the service I’ve received. Thanks to Tracey and the wider team at Global Automobiles, you’ve been brilliant. This is buying a used car at its finest. Thank you.

Superstars!

Superstars!Having had company cars for over 20 years I was pretty nervous about entering back into the used car market. Even after a short time I'd already come across some far from ideal experiences that reinforced the old stereotypes. Therefore I must admit the interaction with Junior and his team was a complete pleasure from the word go and even when there were a couple of challenges he went above and beyond to resolve them.Well worth the 6 hours train ride to find the perfect example of what I was looking for.I would and have recommended them to others.

Highly recommend Global Automobiles

Bought an Audi A3 cabriolet 2 weeks ago, I am so happy with the car. Junior, Ashley and Alan are a credit to the company. All are so helpful, Alan picked me up from the train station. Junior put together a fantastic sales package and Ashley added extras to the deal to complete our easy, no nonsense, superb purchase. Highly recommend these guys, honest, trustworthy and so helpful. Thanks Global Automobiles, highly recommend buying a car from these people and absolutely love my new car, just need some nice weather now!!! 🤗

Nissan x trail

Bought a Nissan x trail last week from them. Junior was first class and had everything sorted for us to drive away quickly. A small fault occurred junior advised taking to a local garage and they would cover the costs. He was true to his word. All in all dealing with junior and global automobiles was an absolute pleasure and will reccomend any one looking for a used car to get it from here. When I'm ready to upgrade mine I will be back.

Landrover Discover aftersales attitude

Bought a Landrover Discovery three weeks ago and the sales service from Ashley was excellent. Had to return four days later due to coolant emptying out but Junior dealt with this courteously and efficiently. Three weeks down the line the alternator has packed in. They have sorted it today and are delivering the vehicle back tomorrow to our home. Again dealt with efficiently and professionally by Junior. Would recommend this garage, super service all round.
