Truly dreadful

This experience was totally frustrating. I bought a simple BMP online and my account was debited by some entity called Analyte. When I called the site I had selected, they had never heard of me. A call to customer service directed me to a texting site which resulted in a massive back and forth trying to identify me and having no success. Finally, the person texting me informed me that she had sent an order to the draw site and I was set for 9:45 this a.m. When I got there, they had never heard of me and didn't know how to find out. I left and started a new text with a new person. Polite, but it ended up in me being required to make more phone calls and or texts at a partner company or to get a refund. It is worth the 29 bucks never to have anything more to do with these people.

I knew I was not going to get any help…

I knew I was not going to get any help from Health Labs, so I made an appointment for Saturday January 3 at an Edina MN facility referred to me by Health Labs. I went to my 9:00 appointment at 8:45 with the confirm number given to me on the Health Lab login account. When I was call in for my appointment I was told that the number I gave them did not mean anything and that they needed an order.I printed all the information from the account at Health Labs, and the confirm number, but I could not be seen. I called Health Labs, but they only way to reach them is by text. I left without any lab work being done.

I live in NY and bought a basic CMP and B12 test. When I arrived at labcorp I was told I cannot used the purchased test because the order comes from out of the state and because of state laws they cannot accept it. I find it irresponsible for them to be selling this test online to New Yorkers when such a law exists. Additionally I had to take a 20% fee cut on my refund even though they are the ones that messed up.

Billing process

I ordered several tests through this company. Ended up being billed twice on my credit card. Their customer service is through texting which I feel by itself is poor service, but person texting with me said there was nothing she could do. Suggested emailing company which I did several times with no response Involved my credit card company for fraud and they reversed the charges.

20% charge for ANYTIME cancellation

I ordered a mycoplasma/ureaplasma test. Fairly standard test. Except, upon further reading, I realized that it only tested for mycoplasma hominid and ureaplasma urealyticum. This was NOT made clear before ordering. And those are not even the most common species of those two genus. The test was going to cost $150 for incomplete information…So I called them to cancel the test. First off, they said they can only issue refunds over text? So I texted, and they said I could either put the money towards some other test of theirs, or take a 20% cut to cancel… 20% to cancel an order I had made less than 30 minutes prior. I’m guessing this is why they only do it over text, because my mouth basically dropped to the floor when I saw that. So yea be aware that they will falsely advertise testing. They sell incomplete testing using ancient technology. And be very careful what you order, because they will take 20% of that cost to cancel… claiming it’s some doctor fee for signing the order.

Very uninformative. Waste of money.

Results came next day. But information was pretty much useless because there is no numbers for each value. It just says "normal# or "abnormal ". I definitely will not use this company for my health labs ever again. Just go directly to LabCorp and buy test directly from them. Waste of money. Even their graphics design is so poor and not informative. Hate to waste my time and money.

Everything is ELECTRONIC. NO REFUNDS

Everything is electronic. I made an appointment for a blood test. Got a confirmation number and paid. Showed up at correct time with printout ofrecwipt & confirmation order. No record of my appointment. No way to get a refund. Told online to make another appointment but to do this I had to pay again. I disputed this charge with my credit card company. It's interesting that HealthLabs does not post any reviews on their website. Most legit places do. You have to go to a 3d party site to review them. I think this is a sketchy company. I would never recommend them

False information about booking a walk-in

I booked a test online. The website said that I could walk in to get the test, I did not need an appointment. When I went to the testing location they said they were booked and could not give me a test. The problem is that I was leaving the US the next day and did not have time to go to another location. I asked HealthLabs for a refund but they said they would still charge me a 20% cancellation fee. Despite the fact that it was their false information on the website that caused the problem.

No human to talk to, only text. That person was not helpful. My report only read normal and abnormal. No real numbers

Inhome visit Not convenient at all

Inhome visit Not convenient at all. Easier to just go to your doctor. Wrong information given at multiple touch points with customer service and sales team. In home visits are charged per person (not once per house hold) this info was incorrectly given by associate on website. It took about 50 sms messages to combine two bookings (couldn’t talk to someone) and then the day of appointment they cancelled one of my visits because “they don’t do under 5 yrs old” for home visit - which they didn’t tell us during booking (they had her birthday) or when I asked about this prior to booking. Horrible experience with their customer support team and booking process. The actual home visit itself was easy but like I said we didn’t get the service we asked for and it was so much effort to book in the first place

Patently false information …

HealthLabs claims in its lab forms than an ID is not required. This is patently false.

I am very pleased…

I am very pleased at how quickly the company contacted me when they received my samples, and even more impressed how fast I got the results. I highly recommend this company.

The lab part of my experience with…

The lab part of my experience with Health Labs went smoothly, but I would recommend against using the physician consultation. I was hoping for someone who would review my tests with me and the nurse had to look up what some of the results meant. I could have done what she did without paying. Not worth the money, look up the results yourself.

Rude and dishonest

I bought my DNA test kit May 19th, received it May 27th and returned it for testing May 28th. The tracking said 4-10 days to deliver. On day 11 I contact the customer support number for help with the tracking as it showed that it sat in Chicago for a week. The rep had to be walked through the process of realizing this shouldn't just be sitting there but we got through it and I was told if it wasn't received in 2-3 more days, a free replacement kit would be sent out. I asked about a refund and was told I'd have to pay 25% because it's not their fault when something is lost in the mail. No, but when did it become my fault? Because this company pays the shipping, they are the ones that get payment for lost items so they get their money back but I need to be out 25%? Matters got worse when 3 days later I DID reach out for a new kit to be sent. Well, now it's no longer free but $25 for a new kit. I disputed this and the rep said "that's our policy" and only when I sent screen shots of the reps texts from 3 days prior saying it's free for a replacement kit, did the rep change their story. The next day my kit was marked as received by the testing facility. Who knows how long that will take as apparently they need to scan in the kit. I haven't received any email that they have received my kit but the tracking shows it's been delivered. We are pushing a month since I started this process. 0/10 not worth it to get any kind of testing done here. Good service must only go to the highest payer. I only paid $129. Garbage customer service, rude, dishonest and unprofessional.

Waste of money

Waste of money. The local labs they send you to are overcrowded, full of germs and not helpful. I am immunocompromised and couldn't wait for hours in a germy lab. They will not refund me because it is past the 21 day period. We also had a hurricane right after I paid for this and the whole town was closed for weeks. Go to your own doctor. Do not use this service.

Labs and In-house Sevice Great Consultation Worthless

The clinical visit was a waste of time and money. Based on the description, it was meant to help me understand the test results and provide steps forward. I chose this visit based on the available time that fit my schedule. However, the appointment was not honored at the scheduled time; the call came over an hour early, interrupting a meeting.I made time for the visit, hoping it would meet the expectations outlined in the description. Unfortunately, the person I spoke with did not go through the test results in detail. They simply indicated that the results could mean anything or nothing, and suggested that I consult a doctor to have them explained and to decide what the results mean.Ultimately, everything led back to the recommendation to see a doctor. What is the point of paying for a consultation to receive test results and next steps if I'm only going to be told to see a doctor for explanations? Please revise your description to accurately reflect the service that will be provided.

This company is not trustworthy and…

This company is not trustworthy and waste your time and money. I purchased a test went to the directed facility for them to say they do not offer the test I paid for and scheduled using healthlab. I would suggest going to a reputable healthcare provider. This company is misinformed and take your money without delivering the services you paid for. I do not recommend this company.
