My wife and I ran into some issues when ordering a bedroom set through Homemakers, where the delivery company (AIT) failed miserably in their scheduling and delivery, left the furniture out in the weather without any receipt signature and damaged the furniture goods in question. Customer Service representatives Sheena and Shalonda responded immediately, and made what could have been a highly frustrating and negative experience very positive, and presented the face of a company that appreciates the value of solid customer service and what benefits that brings to the company. The damages to our 6-drawer dresser will be made whole thanks to the efforts of these two excellent representatives of Homemakers.I cannot express enough what a positive experience this was despite some challenges with the shipping contractor. Would order from Homemakers.com again without reservation.

Horrible Experience
Went to Homemakers on 4/1/2024 to purchase new furniture, when it was delivered we found out the living room furniture was to big, and the delivery driver dropped and broke the bedroom set. So we loaded everything up and returned it. We had RMAs given to us as this was purchased on our NFM card we had RMAs credits of $6,260.47 ($827.51 was cash & never refunded) we only had time to pick out a new bedset as the one we had purchased was now back ordered. We checked out and purchased the bedset for $1,896.04 on our NFM card. We then returned on April 17th to purchase the rest of our furniture, $2,924.74 and $192.57 which turned into a disaster as well. We had the RMAs and we were supposed to be offered 10% off for the furniture being damaged during delivery and the hassle and we tried to explain to the manager Bill, he refused to we went to leave and he chased us out to our truck and asked us to come back in and give him a chance, so we did and purchased. At checkout we gave the cashiers the RMAs and they had my NFM card on file for anything above and beyond the RMA amounts. Several months went by and I noticed my NFM card was not updated, reached out and they said it takes awhile. We reached out to them 3 or 4 times and always told the same thing, then comes March 2025 we get paperwork from an attorney, Homemakers had changed our address back to our old account and changed the amounts on the RMA and filed against us. I reached out the attorney right away, they had me provide documents and said they would reach back out with info, months go by and nothing. January 2026 Homemakers files small claims against us I reach out again and Homemakers never responded to the attorney so they just filed the court docs at the end of the year. I did just pay it even with me having proof Homemakers wont own up to their mistake or refund the cash they owe us, they know they are wrong NO way they would let a customer walk out of the store without having a payment method on file!

They could make it easier to shop there
Homemaker can be a little overwhelming, everything is spread out so far some items are not on the showroomI was trying to find a recliner, or a loveseat that the extended length of it would be at least 67 inches. I didn’t wanna go in the store and have to sit in 15 chairs. It’d be nice of homemakers included these measurements as the manufacturers do NFM does too.

Issue:Wanted a new sofa and loveseat for the Holidays. Went to HOMEMAKERS. Got talked into Ashley power recliners. Finally got them delivered and they lasted almost 3 months, then NO POWER!!!! No footrest, no recliner, no head rest on the loveseat. Called Ashley for service, they said HOMEMAKERS take care of service the first year. Before they made it out the sofa shut down as well!! They came out and said they would have to order parts. Said it would be 3-4 weeks but more likely 2 weeks. Four weeks later we called, said it would be another 5 weeks!!! So, we basically had park benches all during the Holidays!!! If HOMEMAKER was responsible for service for the first full year you would think they would have parts? Suggested they take parts from another showroom or warehouse unit, suggested they replace the ones we have with working units, suggested we return and refund our thousands of dollars. ALL AGAINST THEIR POLICY
