FRAUD

They didn't tell the hotel that they "paid" for the room so then they charged me (for hotel savings) and my fiancé on his credit card at the hotel. His was cheaper than mine, might I add and now they won't refund my money. SCAM!!! NEVER USE THESE CARDS. I had to call my credit card company and claim it as fraud

Bingo Scratch Card Scam

KNEW it was a scam when I received mysterious 'scratch' card in my mailbox. Low and behold - I won the Bingo scratch card. Prize? A gift card for this site. How convenient. Try again, suckers

Given as a "Prize" to hide the scam

I received "bucks" to this site as a "prize" from a nothing company scamming people. They make you bend over backwards to get set up properly.. scaring you and taking your details and payment info before ou have even picked anything out. DO NOT USE.. and any company that gives you bucks to this site is also a scaring company.

Thieves!

If you book via Hotel Savings/Orbitz, you will instantly lose the room rate of 1 night no matter if you cancel or not. They charge you a fee for booking and they fight you on disputes! Whether you stayed at the hotel or not, they charge you for 1 night, whatever that room rate is.

DON'T PUSH THAT GREEN BUTTON!!!!!

Rate said $69.99. Input credit card information not seeing the booking information above and to the right. Hit that Green Button and saw $102.70!!!! Hit the back button on browser to see what the heck happened when I saw the huge taxes and fees! Immediately called and waited over 20 minutes to resolve to immediately cancel. Like the rest got the could be 7-14 days for refund to be processed which is a bunch of BS. I told them I would dispute and I will still call my credit card company and dispute as soon as I see the charge hit providing them the cancellation number. I even print screened the page that took my credit card information showing that the booking information was off above and to the right. I am used to the information showing what you pay to be clearly displayed before you hit the confirm, pay or book button. DON'T PUSH THAT GREEN BUTTON!!!!!! Called hotel direct and got booked for $30 less.

A total ripoff

Booked a hotel through their site. Price shown was $63.74 with no way to find out how much more in taxes and fees, but figured they would be $10 at most. Then was shown in an E-mail that the cost was really $99.64. $35.90 in fees is ridiculous. I went to the motel's site and was quoted the same price of $63.74, with $7.19 in taxes and fees. Booking at hotelssavings was non-refundable, but I called them anyway, and got the run around from the customer service rep who I could barely understand. She couldn't or wouldn't tell me where the $28 in fees was going. Don't book or deal with them. It's a complete ripoff. Don't book from them

Scam Artists

Booked through for a hotel was quoted and charged $165.39 was not impressed with amount and call the hotel and were quoted $108.26 a difference of $57.13. Charged to our Visa as soon as the confirmation. Talked to customer service about the discrepancy was told they charge a booking fee etc. Wanted to talk to manager but said they would say the same. I will never book through this dishonest company again and will also warn all my friends and family.

Never again

I read the negative reviews ONLY after I had already used the services of the booking agency. I booked first one night too many and when I called to cancel that night, it was the hardest thing I've done in ages. It seems I had to cancel the entire trip reservations and re-reserve the rooms. What bothers me most is that the first charge was more expensive and and was told that it might take 14 days (and they had a 30 day right to hold) for it to show up on my Visa. Then, of course, the lower charge was also charged although it has yet to show up. having panicked, I called the hotel directly to make very sure I had the reservation and told them the price I was being charged against what they would have charged had I gone through them. I admit it was lower, and the reservation was correct and was secure. HOWEVER ---- the difficulty I went through, the difficulty understanding the speech of the person I was dealing with, made the experience far more painfully long drawn out with repeated explanations from me about what I wanted. I would never use this service again for any reason.

Horrendous Company!

I will never use this website again. I am not usually one to write reviews or complain, but in this instance I find it necessary in order to possibly save someone else from being ripped off. I booked a room for one night, hours prior to using the room, and was told it would cost $139.95 and that I would receive an email confirmation for the booking. I never received the email and upon checking out the next morning was told that I was unable to get a receipt for the room as it was not booked through the hotel. When I got my credit card statement I noticed that I was charged $196.09 for the night. I tried to call multiple times in order to resolve my issue. The first time I was told that the additional $56.14 was for "taxes and service fees". I asked for an itemized receipt and was told one would be mailed to me. When I got the receipt it wasn't itemized and only showed the total. I called numerous (four) times after and was either disconnected after holding for an average of 20 minutes or was told that someone would call me back within 15 - 20 minutes, which never happened. When I finally got through to a supervisor, Tony, I was told that I "agreed to the additional charges by using the room". I told him that I had not been told about the extra charges and he basically told me it was too bad because I used the room. He was rude and unapologetic for their terrible business practices. I will be disputing the additional charges with my credit card company. I would give them zero stars if I could!

Do Not use this Company!!!

This company ripped me off for 578.00. I booked a reservation unintentionally on my Marriott credit card. They refused to refund my money though the reservation was canceled. I paid sales tax as well. On what for who? A company in India charges me NYS sales tax? For Nothing. Everyone is right this company is the worst ever! Took me 9 months to pay a charge that I received nothing, absolutely nothing for. Turn back don't go. VERY UNREPUTABLE!!! DO NOT USE THEM.

What a ripoff!

I wasn't even aware that the reservation was going through Orbitz to World Choice Travel to Hotel Savings, and I was charged 150% of the quoted rate of $84.15. I DID NOT GIVE MY APPROVAL TO HAVE MY CREDIT CARD CHARGED THIS AMOUNT. After spending an hour trying to track down the reservation and then finally making contact, I spend another 45 minutes only to be told that they would not remove the charges. I will be taking this to the Better Business Bureau and also refusing to pay the credit card charge.

LIKE PAYING TWICE THE GOING RATE? USE HOTELSAVINGS.COM

A no star rating wasn't available. We booked a room this morning through hotelsavings.com and were quoted $76.00 when we got to the hotel we found out that $112.21 was put on our charge card; and the real kicker!!!! we found out that if we would have walked in off the street the room would have cost us $69.29!!!!! HOTELSAVINGS.COM IS A SCAM DO NOT USE THEM! Contact any media agency you can to get this scam agency shut down now!!! I've already informed them that I'm contacting our local newspaper, the attorney general's office as well as Television media. I'm also contacting the home offices of all the hotels/motels that I can and urge them not to accept any charges that come through this fraudulent outfit!

Use them AT YOUR OWN RISK...They need to be shut down

Really a NO STAR RATING. My wife and I made a reservation that we thought was through the hotel chain, however, this was the site that actually came up. We made the reservation for the wrong 2 nights by mistake. When we arrived at the hotel a day EARLY, they said to pay them and to cancel the other reservation. When we tried to cancel we spoke to people in the Phillippines who could not speak understandable English. They were rude and refused to do anything - no refund. Be careful about the website where you book and never book through HotelSavings.com or any site connected to World ChoiceTravel. They represent online sites that are a fraud and basically steal money for services that are not provided. Your best bet and usually best rate will be to book with the hotel or motel chain directly. As many others here have learned the best deal is probably there.

Can't wait until there closed.

What a huge rip off. Like others, I thought I was on the hotels website. I was actually. But when I went to book I was directed to hotelsavings.com not knowing this until it was too late. I could have walked into the hotel and paid $75.00 but instead I paid $123.00 almost double of a walk in. The hotel could not produce a receipt for the third party booking agency. I called hotelsavings.com to get a receipt. They refused. they told me I had to request a receipt from there support website. As it turned out, the support website doesn't exist. It's crazy that a post on here actually likes them, I travel for work. I stay at hotels 200+ days a year. I have never had such a bad experience as with hotelssavings.com My advice is to make sure you stay on the hotel's website. Do not be directed away. There is no need to use a third party booking agency. I have always got the best deal by being a walk-in. I know for some, booking must be done in advance. Just stay with the hotels website, and you will be fine. The only reason I gave it 1 star is because this site will not allow me to give it a 0.

Lousy Scam Artists

I wish I had seen this site. We were driving and used a smart phone over he net. The rep could not be understood so they took out number to call back. They never did, so we went via the Quality Inn website and somehow ended up on HotelSavings.com. Room rate = $79.00, charge = $117.00. Front desk told us to contact HotelSavings directly. An abrasive fool on the phone kept telling me the fee is 29 dollars. Repeated it over and over. There a huge fee to cancel AFTER you find out what they are going to charge you. You would think a reputable firm such as Quality Inn would refuse to accept HotelSavings bookings a those prices. STAY AWAY from this rip off company.

VERY SHADY UNETHICAL COMPANY....NEVER USE THEM!

I was driving to see my father in law who was terminally ill. I was trying to book a hotel on the road and I got this number from google. They tried to tell me they were the booking centre for Ramada Hotels. They charged me double what the going room rate was and when I called and complained, they said they would refund my card and called and told me they did so. They in fact did NOT! It has been a month with no refund and they told me to call back in 7-10 business days. Not only did they not refund me, they cancelled my reservation at the Hotel and I had to double pay. I am still out more than $400 from these crooks!
