Avoid. We went on our june holiday. The staff was so rude and demanded printed copy of booking and wasnt happy we booked though booking other then hotel itself. We got odd apartment insted of room. Was dark dirty and loud all day and all night. Just dont expect any politeness at counter.

Booked this through loveholiday app big mistake on both accounts, even though the hotel was in excellent location central thats all that it had goin for it and thats probably why its still surviving only for the location, Reception staff don't know where they got their training in hospitality but that didn't work out very well for them in the line of rudeness and unfriendly, room l stayed in was standard supposed to accommodate 2 people a big no! Could barely fit suitcase in room, no instructions how to use electrical lights and sockets and l could only find one socket by the door! The list could go on forever but l know l be wasting my time, l just read other recent reviews which were similar and the manager must have put copy and paste answer to each and every review in regards that they will do their best to improve, l don't think they will bother somehow as l said location was all that was goin for it and people will still come and spend their hard earned cash on low standard service of a hotel that has no plans to improve.

What a lovely hotel. Thank you Gianfranco. We were upgraded on arrival to a room down the street and around the corner. At first I was a bit put off that I wasn’t in the hotel itself but then we saw the huge modern 2 bed family room and huge bath and shower room, separate toilet, our own front door and mini bar. Absolutely fabulous stay, housekeeping came daily fresh towels and bedding. We were a 2 min walk on a quaint cobbled street to the trevi fountain. Breakfast was a beautiful buffet on the roof terrace at the hotel- choose from bacon eggs sausages fruit tomatoes yoghurts pastries croissants toast cereals cappuccino juices teas and more. I would recommend this hotel, all the hotel staff were friendly, helpful and happy. Great location. Thankyou for the great memories

Direct Reservation - Covid - taking advantage if
Booking Reservation: 21382936I planned to return to the hotel in 2020 for my honeymoon, however COVID closed the hotel and my plans were frustrated, even because I was fired from my job. Despite the trust placed on account of the previous accommodation in 2010, the hotel did NOT RESTORE THE AMOUNT PAID 618 EUROS. Did not provide the service and does not agree to return the reservation. I am extremely frustrated with Gruppo Trevi, which includes Hotel AL MANTHIA due to the lack of sensitivity. My party was canceled and I don't have any return forecast.All intermediaries web sites are having sucess with the cargeback. Only the hotel´s directs revervations are take advantage if this exceptional situation.

Don't stay at Hotel Trevi
Stayed at Hotel Trevi some weeks ago.When I got home I realized that I had forgotten a piece of clothes (almost new). I wrote to Hotel Trevi but I haven't heard from them - that's simply not ok.My husband wrote a positive review of the the hotel - he got a reply almost promtly.
