Don’t Use them

So this company send people out and about to assess roofs. They tell you that they’ll do work for you if the insurance company pays for a new roof. Basically, I would have to pay the total of the roof cost including my deductible like normal. The insurance would only cover the back portion. They then tried to talk me into getting the entire roof redone. 10 year old roof makes zero sense to be redone. They didn’t want to do it at the per square cost like the salesman said they would do. I would never use these dudes.

Do NOT recommend this company!This company operates like storm chasers, preying on homeowners who may not be fully informed about the insurance claim process. They initially gave me a quote and assured me that everything — except for a small portion — would be covered by insurance.However, after the work (some of which they never completed), they sent me an outrageous bill. What’s worse is they’re billing for items they didn't even complete, and are attempting to collect payment based on the entire insurance estimate, including depreciation and line items completely unrelated to their actual work.They saw the itemized insurance paperwork and tried to take advantage of it, attempting to claim funds for work done by others or not done at all. One of their own sales reps admitted they were overcharging me and promised to look into it — but management clearly doesn't care about what he or the customer has to say.This company does this often, hoping that homeowners will simply pay the bill without asking questions. Be very cautious if you’re dealing with them — or better yet, stay far away.

Not to be Trusted

Lifetime Quality of Tampa, FL sent out Sean Lewen who quoted me over $27K for a standing seam roof and then attempted to install cheap exposed-fastener panels. The quote also included metal over the patio room, which he then downgraded to cheaper materials without notifying me or amending the contract, because the grade was too shallow and did not meet regulation for metal. How can someone who calls themselves a professional not know this during the quote? When I called out the exposed fasteners he said: “if you look at the center of the panel it’s not flat, it’s standing,” verbatim from the SMS history. Completely misleading and unrelated. He then repeatedly attempted to convince me to accept the cheap roof. The contract reads “standing seam” right next to “5V” panels (again, easy to prove), which is a contradiction. I did not research what 5V meant because I chose to trust him. That was a big mistake.Only after calling Sean out multiple times and explaining to him that I knew “standing seam” meant no exposed fasteners and he wasn’t going to explain his way out of it, he finally conceded and rescheduled the install. The crew then abandoned the job site without cleaning up. On their second attempt, eight months after the contract was signed, TJ was assigned as project manager and failed in every regard. He could not source the correct materials until the third attempt, with weeks in between while the manufacturer fulfilled multiple separate orders. He also failed to hold his crew to professional standards. They left all the existing materials sitting on the lawn uncovered, getting rained on and killing the grass during that time. I called the main office concerned about this, and received a dismissive answer that the materials were rated to be left uncovered for longer. No one ever came to throw a tarp over them as they were exposed to the elements during rainy season for over three weeks.Sean’s behavior was explained as “training issues.” Imagine believing that. Now because of his multiple attempts to deliver far less than what he quoted, TJs inability to manage any aspect of the project, and the cut-rate cheap labor they sent to do the work, I now have the worst looking standing seam roof I have ever seen. Every panel is warped and bent. Thanks to Lifetime Quality, a company that employs and protects people like Sean who objectively misrepresented the materials, and incapable managers like TJ, while referring to themselves with a straight face as a “platinum preferred” contractor. Don’t believe it. I would not wish this experience on my worst enemy. Learn from my mistake and take your business elsewhere.

Statement Regarding Unpaid Commissions and Unethical Practices at Lifetime Quality Roofing – Cleveland BranchI am compelled to speak out regarding my experience with Lifetime Quality Roofing, specifically the Cleveland branch, under the leadership of Rikky Winfield. Despite delivering significant value to the company, including generating substantial revenue, I have not been compensated for commissions that were clearly earned and contractually owed.Unfortunately, I am not alone in this experience. A pattern has emerged within the Cleveland office, where multiple high-performing employees have been misled, underpaid, or dismissed without proper compensation. This ongoing issue reflects a broader failure in leadership and a disregard for ethical business practices.Under Mr. Winfield’s management, the Cleveland branch has seen a steady decline in performance and employee retention—primarily due to the company’s failure to honor its financial obligations. The repeated failure to pay employees fairly and on time is not only demoralizing but may also constitute a serious breach of contract and a violation of state labor laws.As a result, I have been forced to engage legal counsel to pursue the commissions I am rightfully owed. A formal lawsuit is currently being prepared against both ownership and management for failure to pay earned wages and for negligent and deceptive business practices.It is deeply unfortunate that a company that presents itself as professional and trustworthy would operate in such a manner. I strongly urge any potential employees or contractors to perform thorough due diligence before engaging with Lifetime Quality Roofing. If you are looking to build a career with a company that respects your work, values its people, and honors its financial commitments—this is not the place.I remain hopeful that through legal action and public accountability, current and future workers will be protected from the same mistreatment.

My overall experience with Lifetime…

My overall experience with Lifetime Quality was good, they did great work on my roof and it looks beautiful. I did have one issue with getting them to send me marketing material after the work was done. But once Josh stepped in, he took care of that quickly and promptly. I would recommend them at the end of the day.

Easy Roof Replacement

Working with Lifetime Quality Roofing has been great. They helped me through the insurance process, were very easy to schedule with, worked with me in selecting the materials and explaining the upgrades and costs, and ultimately made my roof replacement experience very easy. They also did the project very quickly, and were great in terms of the cleanup and day-of work.As an anecdote to their commitment to the customer, they were very adamant about making sure that we had moved our cars from the garage. They gave me a head's up the day they dropped off materials, and made sure when they dropped off the dumpster a day later over the weekend, that we had access to our vehicles. I would highly recommend Lifetime Quality Roofing.

Full Roof Replacement

We had a great experience with Lifetime Quality Roofing. Jared Gulau was our point of contact, and was able to work with our insurance company to get us a full replacement due to wind damage. Jared was always on hand to answer any questions we had making the entire process very smooth. We love the look of our new onyx black shingles!

I wish I had all good things to say…

I wish I had all good things to say about this company, unfortunately I do not. However, instead of writing all of the issues I have had with them, I’d like to focus on the positive. Micheal Cooper was absolutely amazing. He did in a few short hours what many other people in the company could not do. He went above and beyond in all aspects of his job and made sure to help through the whole entire process. Lifetime Quality Roofing should be blessed to have him as an employee and others should seek him for help on their future projects. Thank you Coop for everything you did!

Do not ring my doorbell !!!

A really nice “Storm Chaser” from this company visited me 2 weeks ago and said that he noticed a single shingle missing from my roof on a busy road.He told me that he can write up a repair “in such a way that my insurance company will honor the repair at no cost to me”.Hmmmmm…..That doesn’t sound right !!!!I am sorry, but I find it incredibly hard to believe that he noticed a single shingle missing from my roof driving at 35+ MPH and 500 feet away !!!I looked at my roof with binoculars and could barely see what in the world he was talking about !!!He should be more concerned at focusing on the road and NOT my roof !!!He also ignored the giant sign next to my doorbell that says “NO Solicitation” !!!!BEWARE !!!

The decision to replace a roof…

The decision to replace a roof shouldn't be taken lightly; it's a huge investment. The single most important step is choosing the right company for the job. Lifetime quality roofing Cincinnati was absolutely the right people for the job. We had several different companies come out to give an estimate. Lifetime quality roofing was the only who actually physically inspected our roof. Tyler's customer service is excellent. The installation crew was quick and efficient. We're extremely happy that we chose them.
