I used guys from Mile Relocation for a move from the East Coast to the West Coast, then back again, and also for a local move in Florida. The team was hardworking, professional, and very easy to deal with. They were flexible with scheduling and even made some adjustments to fit my situation. Everything went smoothly. I’ve already recommended them to friends and they were happy too. Solid company, good people, definitely recommend.

Scam scam bait and switch
Worst company ever and such a scam. I live in Louisiana and my mother passed away. I called Miles Relocation to obtain pricing to move the hutch and china buffet from Ohio to New Orleans. They took my deposit and subcontractor showed up and they called me from my mother’s house to tell me they wanted extra pay to wrap the hutch. They clearly knew from the recorded call what furniture I was moving. I was told from Tony that they would provide white glove service and wrap everything for protection. However when the movers showed up they told me that I had to pay 250.00 extra to move the hutch because it was glass and they were not communicated too correctly. Mind you I had already agree so 1600.00 move price. When I tried to tell the movers that I had clearly defined what was moving they told me it was not their problem and I needed to either pay the additional monies or they would cancel the contract and keep my 600.00. I was in a jam because my mom’s house had to be cleared that day so they held my furniture hostage until I paid. To make matters worse Veronica in the office said oh well you signed a contract and there is a cancellation fee, I ask her to please listen to both the recorded calls and she said she did not have time to do that, horrible customer service and they could have cared less and did not even offer to make this right. After all who prices a hutch move and then charges extra because it has glass when they already had that information. They knew I was on a time crunch and did not have time to call anyone else and they took advantage of that. Veronica was rude and would not even let me speak to anyone in management. The subcontractors was rude as well no Customer service skills at all. I plan to also reach out to BBB for my complaint. I know it’s only 200.00 but it is principle for me and people should not be allowed to do business that treat their customers this way. Do not use this company!

This company is devoid of integrity
I just had one of the movers hired by this company call me and accuse me of lying! The unmitigated gall! I have no reason to lie about missing and damaged items. What he failed to realize is they had my property overnight and I am missing items and damaged items. I submitted photos of some of the damaged items that I hope can be salvaged. DO NOT Use this company because it is devoid of integrity.

Do not use this company
Do not use this company. Extremely dishonest. First thing they sell you a bill of goods they cannot deliver on. Even after speaking to 2 of their reps, they flat out lied about their services and what was on in terms of packing requirements. They say a 2 week delivery time unless you pay a 1000 dollar expedited fee for delivery within 3-4 days. After an extensive 2 hour plus call with their "QA" rep over all items in the house and storage unit, along with pictures and video, they still significantly underestimated the space needed in the truck for the move. We were initially quoted 10k for the move, and when the moving team finally showed up, several hours late, the price jumped up 2k. They brought too small a truck and ended up discarding a few thousand dollars worth of our possessions when we left. Which we only found out about when our realtor sent us pictures for the junk hauler. They also did not have the space for our storage unit and refused to correct that error and wanted to charge an extra 2k to pick that up as well. After many phone calls with Victoria, they refused to acknowledge their deception and mistakes. So we still have to find another mover for our storage unit. Thru did refund us 1k because the delivery drivers were well over 24 hours late from our promised delivery window. And on the complaint I filed with the better business bureau they flat out lied about the conversations I had with the delivery driver. When our possessions friendly arrived they were haphazardly packed, which was another lie their sales person told us. Thankfully there was minimal damage. There was morning positive about the experience with them. Hopefully the complaints I filled with the FTC and state attorney general put this garage company out of business. And as you can see in their response the dishonesty continues. The driver called me and said he wasn't going to make it that day. Said he'd be there at 5 the next day as he was still a state away. Didn't end up showing up until 9pm the following day. They had pictures and video of the additional items and STILL got their size estimate wrong. They're is nothing honest about this company. From Chase the salesperson, to Victoria their " customer service" Rep. They lie lie lie. And as you can see they gaslight, and manipulate words to try to cover their failings. DO NOT trust this company. They will br hearing from the Carolina State attorney. The Florida State attorney and hopefully be getting shut downP.s. there WERE NOT more items than discussed. Your QA person failed to get the counts correct. He was told 40 boxes, but the estimate only had 30. If you had any integrity you would have sent audio to me so I could point out every single thing your person neglected to put on there. What you keep failing to acknowledge is the shelves that we were told by both Chase and the QA person that were on to be wrapped in plastic and all the items could stay on them. It was the additional 300cu ft of space that you LIED about.

I didn’t have much time to plan
I didn’t have much time to plan. Boxes weren’t labeled, furniture wasn’t disassembled and everything felt pretty chaotic. But the Mile Relocation crew handled it all with calm. They helped label items, stayed composed, and managed to load everything safely. Truly a reliable company!

Don’t use this company they will over…
Don’t use this company they will over charge you! Way over priced and then add on more when they pick up your items and then want more money when they deliver your items.

I would give no stars if that was an option I was quoted one price at pick up as they tried to charge more and I'm still going through this with him they've not delivered yet and I've been informed that I'm going to be charged more when they deliver I would have never used this company if I had read the reviews beforehand do not recommend them and would never use them again

WORST MOVING CO EVER!!!
If over promise and under deliver was a company this company would have a billboard. I have never encountered such poor costumer service in my entire life. The amount of misinformation or no information I received from this company was beyond belief. As a mother my child was relocating from Kansas to New York City, Chase Farrell, (the definition of a sleazy salesman) told him this was an easy move and he would have his things within 3-7 business days but as soon as the contract was signed we then heard up to 14 business days. So of course this a classic bait and switch. So my only child was left in NYC in an apartment with absolutely nothing except a backpack of clothes and his laptop FOR 4 WEEKS!!!!! This is completely unacceptable, he was unable to work because his form of income was on the truck I ended up having to foot the bill for 3 weeks. After I played detective and called everyone that was involved I found out his stuff was just sitting in warehouse in Kansas City. Not only that, I ended up flying him to Kansas City to get his instruments so he could have some type of income and sanity. These people Victoria, Ian, and Sophia could care less because they don’t have children. What they put my son through was absolute hell and I’m a strong believer in KARMA so I cannot wait until this comes back on them 10 fold and when it does I want them to remember this review because every time I called they just said they don’t have any updates!! That was it, no remorse, no trying to get his things there faster, no trying to help, absolutely nothing. So if you are thinking of using this company I would say HELL NO and run the other way and just pay more for a better company. I really hope they go out of business because to treat costumers the way they did my son and I is absolutely unforgiveable. They absolutely do not deserve one penny!!!

Buyer Beware of Mile Relocation!
Beware! Mile Relocation was a lie and a scam from the start and I fell for it. They tried to overcharge with $7600 and then when I said no they got a different 'sales-pitch' guy to lower it to $5300. I agreed and paid my deposit and we set the moving date. I even gave them 2 days to choose from, a Saturday or Sunday. A couple days before the move they called to go over what I have (I'd already told them everything I had the first time). Lo and behold they wanted to charge me $13,000! Then they lowered it to $10,000 and I still said no way! They lowered it to $7100 and here we were at the 11th hour and I was stuck. Notice they almost got the original amount they wanted to charge me. Interesting. They said they would be there Sunday between 9am-noon and would call an hour before they got there. That window came and went and I hadn't heard anything from them so I called. They said the truck broke down but it was being worked on right now and they would be there Monday. Luckily I did have Monday to get out but I also had a 3 day trip to my new house across the country and I had made accommodation reservations for each night of the trip already and was supposed to be several hours down the road by Monday night. I told them I absolutely HAD to be out Monday, there is no wiggle room because the new owners were moving in Tuesday. They promised to be there Monday. I called Monday morning to make sure they were on track. The truck was still broke down but they promised to be there by 2pm at the latest and they would call an hour before. I called them at 1:15pm and they called me back 45 minutes later. It was still broke down and they had no idea when it would be fixed. I told them a mechanic would be able to give them an estimate and that I was done. I can't wait to be lied to any more. So I had to drive an hour and a half to go get the nearest available rental truck to drive it the 1600 miles myself. Thankfully friends came to help and we were out of the house by 9:30pm Monday. Obviously I had to change my accommodations and told Mile Relocation to reimburse me the ones that I couldn't get my money back from and they refused. They did return my deposit money at least. But notice they never once called me to let me know of the truck problems or delay. They never once tried to help me find a solution to 'their' problem. When I talked to them they were more interested in making excuses and talking over me than problem solving. They kept saying they couldn't have known the truck would break down. Hello? You're a moving company. Trucks break down. But the people who hired you have deadlines. You should have contingencies. Or you should make sure the customer meets their deadline even if it means admitting you can't be the ones to do it. Instead Mile Relocation kept stringing me along with empty promises of actually showing up and never did. They should have been straight with me on Sunday that the truck was a no-go. Did they really find someone to work on it Sunday? Or did they wait until Monday? There were 3 rental trucks available in my area on Sunday but I believed them and waited for them to show up Monday. I should have gone with my gut to cut them loose Sunday and get the rental. I'm completely floored by their lack of customer support. They did not show one ounce of concern that they were causing this huge problem. And they had zero interest in trying to solve it.8/31/25 Update:I'm fascinated by Mile Relocation's response to this review. They said I had more items during "quality assurance" even though I'd gotten rid of a lot. Ok fine. But there is something seriously wrong with their estimation procedures if they are that far off at the end. Yes their truck broke down in Montana, a rural state, but they were in Missoula which is not remote. They said "We remained in contact throughout." No, I remained in contact. They never once initiated contact with me about the truck breaking down or the delay, I had to call them to get answers. They said "we proposed alternatives" - no they did not. They never once offered any alternative except for me to wait until the truck got fixed. They did refund my deposit right away because I demanded it. They said "we offered extra compensation for the inconvenience caused, but unfortunately this solution did not meet your expectations." Lie! I asked them to compensate me for the money I was out for nonrefundable accommodations I had to change because of it but they refused! After leaving their response to my review, they called me. They offered me $300 as a solution. BUT the condition was only if I deleted this review. I said no, I would edit to say they did that but wouldn't delete it. They wouldn't compensate me then. Sounds like bribery. I would've had to sign a form (they already have for this) to say I was getting money and in return I'd delete it. I wonder how many other people they got to delete reviews.

We should have just rented a van and did it ourselves
We hired Mile Relocation (spoke with GM Derek Stephens) to move a small load from NJ to RI for my daughter’s first apartment. I made it crystal clear: we needed delivery on Saturday, Aug 9, and we’d be driving 5 hours to meet the truck. All week, multiple employees (Zeyan, Sophia, Phillip) described it as “possible” or “doable”, but said it would not be guaranteed...however, never once saying it was scheduled for Sunday instead. Pickup was rescheduled, I rearranged business meetings to be available on Tues Aug 5 and then Wed Aug 6th, and I was told being flexible would help ensure Aug 9 delivery. No one mentioned a different delivery date, no “heads up” from dispatch, nothing. On the morning of Aug 9, after hours of unanswered calls and full voicemails, I finally reached Diana at East West Relocation (the subcontractor) who was rude, yelled at me, and claimed they had 10 days to deliver — definitely not in my contract. Out of concern about Diana's comments, I continued to call Mile Relocation until I got Zeyan, who then claimed they told me that 6 days was possible (never!). After I was fuming upset and he escalated it to his supervisor, he called me back and said it would be Sunday.... "confirmed"Derek then said he knew all along it was Sunday, but no one told me! Sunday’s “confirmed” 12–3pm delivery arrived at 7:30pm.The drivers from East West were great — polite, professional, and not to blame. I do blame Mile Relocation and the outsourced company East West Relocation for missing important logistical and communication steps and just having a terrible sense of how to use a calendar and a clock. We wasted $1,000 on an unnecessary hotel night, lost a full day of work, and still had to show up the next day. This move caused unnecessary cost, stress, and chaos — we should have just kept the original truck and done it ourselves.

Don't use this mover
To be fair the two movers who picked up our belongings were professional, respectful, and efficient. All other interactions with this company have been horrific. Move out price exceeded estimate by 16%. Customer Service could not have been any less helpful. Unreturned phone calls, quoted policy and procedure rather than answering questions. Dispatch will not talk directly with the consumer making it impossible to plan even 24 hours in advance. We ended up in a hotel for an extra week and even had to add a round-trip air travel to accommodate their schedule

Tried to cancel, should have forfeited $1,000 deposit to cancel.
There was a lot of miscommunication and misleading information. I was told that I would be charged per cubic foot. Instead the movers filled the truck by using oversized boxes that they did not fill to capacity. I have large shelving units that I was told would be disassembled, they were not (because of this I paid more for transportation than they cost brand new). They did not fill the truck floor-to-ceiling. They also packed and moved items/areas I told them not to. All of these things combined meant that not all of my items made it to my new house and I still charged for full truck capacity. The brokered company was Coast to Coast Moving.

Traumatic Experience - DO NOT hire Mile Relocation
After speaking to the sales person, my wife signed a $2,500 quote to move our stuff from our Colorado 2 bedroom apartment to Minnesota, which included the movers breaking our furniture down and setting it back up at our final destination, plus packing kitchen boxes and TVs. We got passed off to a quality assurance staff member (QA), which set the date of our move, and then said someone else would contact us about a Bill of Lading. Multiple people contacted us about this, which made it seem like a scam, we didn't know who to trust. We went back to QA, and then choose one of the people to contact, who had me measure every item, down to the inch. I was then given a new quote for around $3,800 which was confusing, because we had told the sales person about every item we wanted to move. I ended up having to break down the furniture myself, removing items on the initial quote, and packing kitchen items myself to get down to our original $2,500 quote. Ok, annoying, but whatever. I was also pressured into immediately signing this quote to ensure our move date would be secured. A couple of days before our move, we hadn't heard from anyone about a confirmation on our move date, so we called. A few calls later, they said our move date was no longer available, and that we would have to pick another date. This was a few days out from our move so we had no choice but to move out on that day. I told this to QA, and she eventually was able to get our date back somehow. We were told the movers would come anytime between 8 AM and noon. Two movers and a foreman showed up at 7:45 AM from a company called Best Moving Service. The foreman looked through our place and said our items wouldn't fit in the truck. He then gave us a new quote for around $4,800. I said that I had measured every item down to the inch for the $2,500 quote, so this made no sense for him to take a look around at the items and give me this new quote for almost double that quote. He wouldn't budge, and was extremely rude. I called Mile Relocation to try to figure this out, as they wouldn't start moving anything without me signing another contract for $4,800. Mile Relocation didn't answer immediately, but after a few calls, I got a hold of someone, who said they would call back. After 3 hours of this back and forth, we settled on the original quote; however, I was told by the foreman that they were not liable for our TVs if they broke during the move since we did not use their packaging. The sales person told us to use our own boxes for TVs, so this was frustrating to hear that they wouldn't be liable for breaking them. Once the foreman came back into our apartment, he was extremely rude and mean to my wife as he was insistent about getting his point across that the original quote was wrong. My wife couldn't handle this and broke down crying on our balcony. The foreman made me sign between 5-7 additional contracts, one of which listed the $2,500 quote as the minimum we would be charged and $3,800 or something as the maximum we would be charged. I was so frustrated at this point, because what's the point of a quote if it's just a minimum - it should be near the maximum or be the maximum you will be charged. I just needed the experience to stop, so I signed the documents. One of those documents was another Bill of Lading, which I had already signed a few days earlier with someone at Mile Relocation. He said it was for the TVs, so I signed it, but after I read through it later I realized it actually applied to all of our items. It gave the movers less liability if our items were damaged or broken, 60 cents per pound of item damaged, compared to the original Bill of Lading which would reimburse us for the entire price of the items that were damaged. After signing, they started moving our items. The foreman then said I had to pack the TVs myself since we didn't buy the packaging boxes or material from them, which was not what the Mile Relocation sales member told us. I then packed the TVs. After the movers were 75% done moving our items, the foreman said they would not take our 3 rugs and 12 of our boxes, since they were larger than expected. I measured the boxes down to the inch for the original quote... He then quoted us an additional $1,000 to move the boxes and rugs. I called QA which didn't help. While I was debating signing the quote, the foreman packed up and left. I then broke down crying with my wife. Since the movers didn't take all of our items, I had to rent a Uhaul last minute for $2,500, drive it across the country, and fly back to get my car. The movers showed up a week later with our items. Our 4 nightstands, entertainment center, dresser, and desk were all damaged by the movers. I called QA over 3 weeks ago to handle that. They said they would send me a claim document to fill out, which they still haven't sent. DO NOT hire Mile Relocation for your move; it traumatized my wife and I.

5 star rating
Mile Relocation was recommended to me by a buddy and didn't dissapoint. From my first phone call til me signing off on the final paperwork after the move was complete. Zero worries with Mile Relocation. Victoria kept me posted throughout the entire process. I checked several other moving companies and Mile Relocation was very reasonable. The movers were on the go til the truck was loaded. They were very conscious of not bumping any walls or doors. Truly a great experience, they definitely deserve the FIVE STAR rating.

Slow delivery
The company quoted me one price and the end price was twice as much. I was not told that they can take up to 15 days for them to deliver (past the date you need it). For a minimum of 10 days i will have no bed, or any of my essentials/clothes. For half the price I wouldve rather went with a pod company that guarantees delivery on the date needed. They picked my items up about a week and a half before the day I needed it which it only takes about 2 days to arrive at the destination. Mind you, I also shipped my car and it arrived 2 days earlier and was picked up a week after my furniture. So almost a whole month for my items to arrive from pick up date to delivery. Do not use this company
