I expected to not receive my order
I placed my order with MovieMars through Walmart. Afterwards, I saw all of the terrible reviews and very poor TrustPilot rating, and I fully expected to not receive my order. I considered cancelling but I held out and I am glad I did. I received my order of two fairly difficult to find vinyl albums in 8 days or so. When I started writing this review, I was going to knock off one star because there is no excuse to have so many poor reviews which makes it look like the company doesn't care about customers - which to me is not a five star company. However, I held back and rated them on nothing more than my experience. I think this company seriously needs to take care of their reputation by doing a better job of putting the customer first. I hope to see this company's rating increase with time. I am really happy to have my two new albums.

One month since I paid for an item. They sent me the wrong item two weeks later, which I returned.Subsequently I've had no reply in the space of a fortnight in my attempt to get a refund.False economy on their part too. I buy a lot of physical media but I won't return to them. Update, it's now over three months since I placed my order and I am STILL 'liaising' with Amazon for a refund after repeated emails, calls and messaging to them. Save yourself the hassle. Avoid!

Ignore the reviews and use this company
I ordered a VERY hard to get vinyl to be delivered to Ireland and after reading the reviews I was dubious that I would receive my item, I was wrong! It did take 3 weeks to be delivered but that’s ok, throughout the process I had lots of contact from their customer service rep plus tracking updates. As long as you don’t mind waiting and paying the custom fees (which they were transparent about) definitely use this company and use their excellent customer service if unsure.

They false advertised a Blu-ray BoxsetA Blu-ray Boxset on sale for $15.41 (that sells new for $60) was never sent to me. Instead, Movie Mars sent a bogus substitute dvd boxset for kids! I told them I WANT MY ORIGINAL ORDER BUT THEY KEPT TRYING TO ELUDE MY REQUEST by only giving me the option of refund (or partial if i kept what they sent)! So, either IT NEVER WAS SENT OUT AND/OR NEVER EXISTED OR THEY LIED SO THEY CAN SELL IT MORE EXPENSIVELY! They obviously have forgotten about the 2 most important elements (in any business)...REPUTATION AND COMMUNICATION! They have not responded back since!

I purchased the Peach Fuzz vinyl LP record by Tyler the Creator & Prophet, on Jan 11, 2025, for a total of $57.22 (CAD) which includes S&H. Received confirmation with a tracking # that it would be delivered by ePost Global on Jan 14. I received an email on Jan 21, that I was refunded my full amount. I inquired with the seller why my order was refunded and they responded that ‘The item may have been lost in transit. The item may have been missorted or mislabeled. The item may have been marked for carrier pickup in error. At this time your order has been fully refunded, I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.’. I contacted ePost Global with the tracking number and they advised that they received the electronic data but did not receive the item for processing. This means the seller did not even bother send out the item. Waited 7 days later to cancel my order and increased the price of the record to make more money.I checked the product again on Jan 21 and this time, they raised the price to $89.65 (CAD) which includes S&H. I asked them if they can resend the order since it was not my fault, and to honor the original price. They replied with ‘I'm so sorry, but we won't be able to resend it, as the order has already been refunded by our returns department. If you still want the item, you will need to place a new order.’.This seller is totally shady. They lure you in with low prices, then cancel the order and then wants you to pay an even higher cost for their products. On Jan 23, I went to their website and purchased the same record, which was $43 and $22 S&H, totaling $65 (CAD). I received an email 22 minutes later that they cancelled my order. I inquired why they cancelled the order and no response from them. I highly recommend NOT purchasing through this seller, Movie Mars, and will ensure I leave reviews on their unethical sales tactics on other forums. I should have done my research before placing this order as there are numerous, recent negative reviews on Movie Mars on various forums. There are other legitimate and ethical sellers out there.

Cancels orders of sale priced items, then increases the price.
Ordered CD box set from them on December 1 at a sales price. Tracking number provided never indicated item was in possession of the post office. They canceled my order and refunded my money, then increased the price , claiming the post office was unable to deliver the item. Yes, it would be very hard for the post office to deliver something they never received in the first place.

Despite some of my initial concerns…
Despite some of my initial concerns (mostly based on other people's negative reviews -- I even contacted their customer service BEFORE I ordered just to try alleviating my lingering angst), I received my order yesterday and it was perfect! Shipping time may not be as fast as it is for some vendors, but that is absolutely okay in my book. The quality of my vinyl album and security of the packaging more than make up for having to wait a little longer. I think that we, as consumers, have grown far too accustomed to receiving online orders unrealistically fast. Movie Mars has an incredible selection and, for most items, the best prices out there. What's not to love? Still, I'm always a little skeptical when essentially ALL the reviews I read on a vendor are negative. It almost seems personal at that point. To be fair, some customers probably have had legitimately negative experiences (like with every business and company in the known universe), but either Movie Mars has resolved their issues, or I just got extremely lucky. Either way, I will most definitely order from them again. Thanks for being awesome, Movie Mars!

Poor service and not helpful
I placed an order and received no shipping update after 8 days so contacted them. They responded essentially saying wait a little longer and contact us again soon if you don't receive an update. After another few days I contacted again and was told there was an issue and they had to cancel the order and reorder in a few weeks.The item I ordered was the last in stock and will not be reprinted so either they have it or they don't. They made no attempt to try and actually get me my item.

Moviemars, good? Or bad?
Now I wanted to leave a review as this company gets a lot of negative comments so I wanted to share my experience.I ordered from them 5 4k blu rays that where hard and expensive to get here in the UK, but moviemars offered them at a ridiculously attractive price so I gave them a go. My items where shipped 2 days after placing an order which was faster then I expected, 12 days later and they arrived on my doorstep this morning again way sooner then expected. Perfectly packaged and protected all intact no damage whatsoever and all work flawlessly.I truly don't doubt people have had bad experiences like you do with all companies from time to time but I can honestly say from start to finish moviemars was fantastic and I for sure will be using again.I hope this review can help people who are unsure as I was the same reading all the bad but truly don't believe everything you read on negative reviews 🙂

DO NOT BUY RECORDS FROM MovieMars
If buying a record lp from this company, beware! They list items that they have no idea what stock quantity is! Apparently they rely on unnamed distributors to fulfill orders. Recently I purchased a hard to find title from them on ebay. The listing indicated they had 8 in stock at the time of my order. They also listed the same item listed in stock on amazon so I ordered it there also. After 2 weeks of not hearing from seller or receiving tracking info. I contacted them and was told order was processing. A week later, still nothing, I initiated contact again and they indicated their supplier had an inventory error and would try to fill my order once restocked. I filed complaint with both ebay and amazon. Then I received not in stock refund the same day from both ebay and amazon under their protection guarantees stating seller could not fill orders! HORRIBLE...They never even contacted me...if I hadn't contacted them they would still probably have my money!
