Just brought a new SteelSeries keyboard - big mistake. I wanted to set the constantly flashing lights on my keyboard to a single colour - for this I needed the software. However, the only software offered requires windows 10. According to Steam, around 19% of people use windows 7 alone so this is not great. The gg software for windows 10, which they pretty much insist you install, is considered far from good.Assuming there must be a solution, I submitted a ticket. Support is terrible and replies take 5 days. They linked some older software, which does not recognise the keyboard, and admitted there is no windows 7 software solution. That's right - the website implies the keyboard is "windows" compatible but this is simply untrue. They know it is untrue and are making no attempt to change it.Be warned - deliberately deceptive marketing material is not the sign of a good or trustworthy company. Perhaps the name should be StealSeries?
