This company is fantastic. I made an error picked the wrong course. They refunded my money instantly and they got back to me instantly on the text chat within three minutes my money was refunded back to me and it’s an error that I made, and of course itself was very good. You can move at your own pace and I did learn a lot. Thank you. This is a highly recommended company to use for all your parenting classes that you may need to take go with them.

An admirable job of copy-and-paste
I took the HIPAA training. If your goal is to get a certificate, this fills the bill: they send you a beautiful one, in full color, with gold trim. If your goal is to learn something, not so much. Most webinars I’ve taken from other companies break the material down, explain it, interpret, highlight important issues, and give relevant examples; in other words, they teach. NALI, in contrast, just provides huge, indigestible pages of text, mostly reproducing verbatim the text of the law. I could have googled the law and learned as much (and as little), I’ve never seen anything like this. A disappointment.

The class included practical information, quick exercises, and worksheets that made it easy to apply the concepts. I believe this course will be a huge help for me moving forward. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to better manage anger or shift their thinking in tough situations. Rather you need this class or not, I recommend taking it.

RETURN POLICY TRAP
Not Accepted by Probation Officer – Ridiculous Refund PolicyI didn’t even take the course, and this company still made it hard to get a refund.I signed up thinking it would meet a requirement from my probation officer. Before starting, I asked my PO if North American Learning Institute was acceptable. They told me no—it’s not on their list and they don’t recommend it.When I contacted NALI for a refund under their “100% money-back guarantee,” they told me I needed written documentation from my probation officer proving it wasn’t accepted. An email showing my conversation with the officer wasn’t good enough. Like my probation office has time to write a formal letter just so I can get my money back? Seriously?This is a trap for people trying to do the right thing. They promote this refund policy, but make it nearly impossible to use. If you’re on probation or have court-ordered requirements, don’t waste your time or money here. Ask your PO or court what’s actually accepted before giving NALI a dime.

Totally unprofessional scam site
Totally unprofessional scam site, surprised they are allowed to offer CEUs given how vague, poorly written, and poorly supported the information was, especially about an issue as serious as domestic violence. The first two references were from a website lacking any legitimacy (no research, no names or institutions attached to the site even, advertised celebrity news (inspyr.com)). In one section, the course suggested that getting friends together to tell the abuse victim you all thought she was "just stupid" would be a helpful intervention. Lastly, the material consisted of 139 paragraphs, which took at most 1.5 hours to read, but requires you to review the material for 12 hours to get the certificate. It's insulting to the consumer and, more importantly, does not provide any actually useful information for social workers to address domestic violence. Chat GPT could do a far better job.

NJ Courts accepted my 4hr anger-management course completion!
So, NJ court ordered me to take counseling for anger management from a DV case that happened earlier this year... I started off doing therapy sessions with my therapist which I couldn't afford anymore lol. So, they wound up telling me to look for a course online, that comes with an AM completion certificate. So I chose here. A lil hesitant at first because I saw all of the negative reviews... especially the court ordered reviews that didn't work. But fortunately enough, the judge accepted it!! That being said, my case was dismissed and record will be expunged. Thanks NALI!

The anger management course is super…
The anger management course is super shady! The material takes an hour to get through for the 16 hour course but you have to stay on it for the full 16 hours. My son kept having to click through and read and reread the same sections for 16 hours straight! After about 5 hours in, it signed him out and lost all of the work done! Not to mention he was double charged for the course. Do not use this company for your classes if they are court ordered!
