Electrical Work Confirmed Correct - Fault Found Elsewhere
UPDATE:I am updating my previous low rating. The initial heating issue (radiators coming on when only the water was on, on the NEST) was wrongly attributed to the electrical installation, according to Andy, who had the system checked again yesterday, and confirmed the installer's electrical work on the Nest has been correct.Furthermore, Andy suggested that the ongoing problem was likely a plumbing bypass/short circuit, which is the issue we are now pursuing with the boiler installer.My apologies for the initial confusion and the low rating based on the incorrect initial diagnosis. The installer did a great job with the Nest, and Andy's professional advice helped us correctly diagnose the underlying plumbing fault, which will now hopefully help us solve the problem we had for years. Thanks Andy!I’m extremely disappointed with this company’s service. They installed my Nest thermostat in November 2021, and ever since, my central heating radiators have come on whenever the hot water is used. After several independent engineers and unnecessary expenses — including a new 3-port valve — the issue was traced back to faulty wiring during the original installation.Specifically, the old Economy 7 timer was left connected in parallel with the new Nest Heat Link, causing signal crossover. This was confirmed by a qualified engineer. The installation was therefore not completed with reasonable care and skill, as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.I have contacted the company and requested they rectify their mistake at no cost, but I have yet to receive a satisfactory response. I hope they take accountability and correct this issue promptly.Will update the review acordingly following their resolution.

Very efficient company who know what they are doing. Andy, our installer replaced our old Nest thermostat with the new tado system and had everything up and running in a jiffy. Can highly recommend these guys.

Reset to Nest App for thermostat and door bell
I text Andy yesterday as I needed help to reset my thermostat and doorbell on the Nest App. He rang me back very quickly. An appointment was booked for today. Google wrote to me as they said my heat link for my nest thermostats had failed and they would send an engineer to replace free of charge. The Google appointed engineer came. Only brought 1 heat link (I have two) and swapped one of them out and said I would need to arrange for the other to be done. He completed the work and went to his next job. However, the heatlink wasn't connected properly to the thermostat and after chasing him up on the phone, running up and down stairs trying to troubleshoot he said he would come back the next day and put the old heat link (that was working) back in. He did that but now it doesn't work anymore?!After an hour speaking to Nest Support, they suggested I get in touch with a local Nest Specialist so I reached out to Anark Electrical.Andy their lead installer came and within 20 minutes had me back up and running. (I made him a cuppa, but he was barely there long enough to drink it!) His 30 years of experience was clear to see. He knew exactly how to isolate and fix the problem and had all the diagnistics kit to make the fix smooth and painless. What was also impressive was the reaction time from my first enqury. I called the number on their website and he was at my property in just over an hour.What service!

Our Nest thermostat seems to have a…
Our Nest thermostat seems to have a mind of its own, switching itself on in the early hours of the morning. Anark sent someone around to fix the problem but it has now - one month later - reverted to switching itself back on very early every morning. Anark are offering to send someone around but only if we pay them a fee for a problem they were supposed to fix in the first place.

Anark fixed my heating on the evening of Dec 23
Anark installed a Nest that I bought myself.A few months later my Nest Heatlink broke down and the BOXT technician could not fix it, but someone from Anark came by on Dec 23rd evening and did a very thorough job of identifying and resolving the issue.I am grateful for the short-notice visit and happy with the quality of the service. I intend to work with them again in the future.

Yes, quickly and efficiently wired in our mains powered external Nest Floodlight/cam. I'm very glad I asked for the engineers advice about placement, as it turned out much neater than I would have thought (with no visible wires on the outside or inside of our house).

Successful installation but bad customer experience
Despite the installation being successful, the customer experience was not that great. I have called and raised to the engineer over the phone a few weeks back, that we would like the thermostat to be wired but the engineer told my husband when he arrived that he was not prepared for that on the day (obviously he did not make notice who he was talking to on the phone and if as a customer we would go ahead with the installation, he was just responding to a query) and nobody from the team has asked any questions in advance, on our set up or what kind of installation we were going for. That led to the engineer coming unprepared for the installation we asked on the day. However, the engineer was happy to proceed with wiring the thermostat but convinced us that the spot we were considering was not heat efficient.We ended up paying extra for the USB cable despite the fact we have plenty of cables at home and we could have provided one. That was not raised to our attention in advance, either. The engineer in his effort to help, got between the Landlord and the Tenant and his intervention created unnecessary friction between us and the tenant and that could have been avoided as his relationship is with us alone, and not with the Tenant The engineer's approach to customer support left a lot to be anticipated; at first, he would appear agitated when asked questions but then he would oblige to explain. Both my husband and I experienced that in two different occasions, me on the phone to the engineer (when i asked about wiring the device) and my husband face to face during the installation. Customer service is everything i suspect in your business and communication and attitude towards customers should be impeccable. The engineer obliged at the end to leave installation details by allowing the Tenant and Landlord to take a video of the settings and configuration, but tone and communication style could have been better.

Helpful without custom!
I found this company’s details on a Nest website, after our heatlink suddenly stopped working almost immediately on expiry of the warranty.Rather than accept my custom, they responded immediately (on a Sunday!) to recommend I contact Nest in case they would honour the warranty (which they did!) . I’m really grateful for this advice, and it would certainly make me want to use them in the future.

Got Anark Electrical details from Google Nest website as a registered installer for their Nest smart thermostat. Quotation given to supply and install 2 thermostats and order placed for installation. Due installation date arrived. Engineer arrived as expected and thermostats installed. Good clean job carried out, engineer removed shoes whilst in the house and all packaging removed. Invoice received for agreed amount. Good communication and service delivery. Would thoroughly recommend this company.
