This company wont cover shipping costs for warranty repairs. What a scam of a warranty. The negative reviews regarding this companies customer service are accurate. I will not be recommending this company to anyone looking to buy a distiller as I know many people who are looking to purchase. The unit was sparking when plugged in. I told them about the issue, they claimed that it’s not a safety hazard and that they won’t be replacing my unit. I made this purchase on March 25,2024 and contacted this company on April 7,2024 regarding my issue. That is approximately 2 weeks after PLACING my order that I brought this issue to their attention. So the fact that I am already encountering these type of issues with their product after just receiving it, and they are denying me any sort of courtesy speaks volumes of their values as a “company.” To say that it’s not a safety hazard is laughable when I saw the spark happen before my eyes and extremely close to my hands. If it wasn’t a hazard, I wouldn’t have detected any issue in the first place. However, I hope they continue to receive the negative reviews until this “policy” favors the customers safety above selfish monetary interest. IF something were to happen to cause bodily harm, an insane lawsuit would ensue, but alas, I guess that is more favorable to them than saving the $50 on shipping to send me a new unit as I requested. Go with Water Distillers by Frank Mendez. They have better customer service than this company does. You won’t be wasting your money on terrible service, and low quality products.
