A rare example of true craftsmanship and reliability
I wanted to wait a long time before writing this review. I have owned my Past Indicator Nixie clock for almost three years now, and only now I feel that I can give a truly objective opinion based on long-term use rather than first impressions.From the first moment it was clear that this is not just another decorative gadget. It is a carefully designed object built with real attention to detail and respect for the technology behind it.The packaging and presentation were exceptional. I ordered the premium packaging and the entire unboxing experience felt more like opening a high-end instrument than a typical electronic product. Everything was perfectly protected and beautifully presented.But the real highlight is the build quality. The wooden case, the metal bottom plate, the perfectly aligned tubes and the overall finish clearly show that this clock was designed and assembled by someone who genuinely cares about what he builds.The clock uses authentic vintage Nixie tubes from the 1970s–1980s, which gives it a unique character that modern displays simply cannot replicate. The warm glow of the tubes is mesmerizing and the clock immediately becomes a conversation piece in any room.Technically it is also extremely well designed. Features like adjustable brightness, sleep mode and automatic digit cycling help protect the tubes and ensure long-term reliability. After almost three years of daily use the clock still works perfectly.Many products look impressive when they are new, but only time reveals their true quality. This clock has proven to be reliable, stable and beautifully crafted.I can honestly say that this is one of the most satisfying purchases I have ever made. If you appreciate craftsmanship, retro technology and unique design, a Past Indicator Nixie clock is absolutely worth it.

I brought the clock 10 years ago, and it has been a prized part of my house ever since.Recently during a move, I lost the powers supply.Vadim from past indicator helped me very quickly and sorted everything out.100% recommend one of their clocks, the finish on them is very good, they feel very high quality.

Amazing Support - how they helped me fix my Past Indicator Clock
Bit of Backstory:I ordered my Past Indicator Nixie Tube clock almost 3y ago (02.2022). I loved it, but after around 1y of usage, it fell and one of the tubes broke. Hence it found its way to the dark drawer and wasn't been used for another 1.5y. Current Time:A month ago, clearing out my space, I found it. And decided that I wanted to restore it. (If I had thought of that sooner, restoration would have been covered by the manufacturer's guarantee.) Anyway..., I wrote to the Past Indicator WA support number asking what could be done. Quite quickly they briefed me on what could be done - and I decided to fix it myself (instead of shipping the clock back to them.) The support representative told me in detail what are the necessary steps I needed to take to change the Nixie tube and sent me a link where to order a new one. 2 weeks later my new Nixie Tube arrived (I live in the EU, and it was shipped from the USA....so for you shipping times might be way quicker.) Changing Nixie Tube was as easy as unscrewing 3 screws and swapping the old tube from the connection port... And finally, after almost 2y my Past Indicator clock is working again!But the story doesn't end there:It turned out, that over the years, I had lost the user manual. And even had forgotten how to take the clock out of sleep mode. Thankfully the Past Indicator support guy was clutch again. He went way above and beyond - and sent me multiple custom video tutorials showing and explaining everything. (Mind you, I wrote to him almost always past the normal working hours...so, his response timing and dedication to help me was truly refreshing.)So, that is my experience with the Past Indicator in 2024. Overall - I love their timepieces. And it is great knowing that there are real people behind the company, who care about their clients. :) 5 out of 5 stars from me in every metric.

The best Nixie clocks you could ever wish for!
After finding a video on YouTube about the Nixie clocks from past indicator, I was very interested in these awesome looking clocks. I've done my research and there is no other company that makes so many beautiful, handmade and unique looking clocks. There is a variety in prices and models. Clocks that suits any kind of person.The clock is delivered in a unique premium box and is safely shipped. It even has parfum on it the first time you open the box. It all smells vintage and makes the experience complete.The clock is easy to adjust when you follow the instruction manual. The customer support is very helpful with answering my questions. For example: the date can flash every few minutes or so. Just change a few settings and you can turn it off. All the numbers are flashing every one hour or so. I thought my clock was broken but it's actually a feature. The reason the numbers are flashing once every hour, is so the tubes in the clocks will last much longer because of how the tubes work.Once my number was stuck at a digit. After customer support they explained you might have to press the tube slightly. After doing so, it was fixed!I would never buy a nixie clock anywhere else. These are the best ones you can buy. Variety of options, high quality and great support. You'll enjoy your awesome looking clock for at least 30 years!
