Avoid this company at all costs

Second time ordering my dogs prescription meds had an email saying it would arrive within 4/6 working days. I ordered well in advance to make sure they were here on time. A week and a half later still no delivery so I contacted them to ask where it was, they replied with no explanation and said it had now been dispatched so I have to wait a further 4/6 working days. Shocking customer service no apology and a poorly dog who’s having to go without his medication for another week.

Still awaiting medication yet again

I have used this company for years, but the last 3 time the orders has been delayed and no communication, i wish i hadn’t have use this company again, my elderly dog is now suffering awaiting the arrival of the meds and I haven’t got the money to repurchase elsewhere while awaiting a refund or the medication, absolutely disgraceful, will not be using this company again

Wheres my dogs prescription?????

Wish I hadn't ordered from them. I have been waiting for weeks for my dogs prescription and it still hasn't arrived. Very poor. No excuse for Christnas post as I ordered something else from another company and it arrived about 4 days later. Will not use this company again.

Decent Enough Prices but Entirely Unreliable on Aftersales

Long-standing customer with this company. It used to offer reasonable prices and quick delivery in a competitive market. It's not even slightly reliable on the second part now. Ordered & paid for a repeat prescription 4 days ago. There's been nothing since. Not even the courtesy of an acknowledgement email. And this isn't the first time. My ageing Border Terrier will be suffering shortly. Well done Petdrugsonline. You must be proud. If I'd known -by virtue of any contact from the company- you couldn't deliver what you promised, I'd have gone elsewhere. It won't happen again.

I ordered 2 boxes of vetmedin tablets

I ordered 2 boxes of vetmedin tablets. I hadn't really counted the number of tablets I received, but I ran out quickly and realised they'd only sent 1 box when they should have sent 2. I phoned up about it and they said that they sent 2, they have no proof of this though. I only have the one box and put all meds in one place. But the attitude of the girl on the phone was rude. No customer service skills & kept saying they had sent the right amount. She has no proof of that, and she said I should have taken a photo of my order. Really? How about sending me the right number of tablets that I ordered if we are going to play that game?? I shouldn't have to take a photo of my order, it's your responsibility to send me the right amount. Christ!! A friendly attitude would have been nice and just some understanding. Really put me in a bad mood! I ordered the tablets at the end of October and it's only the beginning of November & there should have been 100 of them in all.So I'm having re pay again for more tablets because you hadn't fulfilled the full order. Also often when I pay extra for a quicker dispatch it isn't sent within the time frame I expect it. So essentially I have lost money to this company who have repeatedly let me down. Today has just been the last straw.

Very incompetent poor service AVOID

Ordered flea treatment a week ago 3/10. Nothing happened until Monday 6 when I was sent email by them saying I had sent invoice from vet , not prescription .Wrong. I checked sent emails & they were sent correct prescription . Also went to junk.First email on 3/10 said we have received prescription its been paid & will be sent shortly. Today I chased up company. Would not accept they had received prescription though I had proof.I sent it again phoned to check they had received it....phones busy we'll call you back. Didn't happen. I phoned again and waited until I was answered.Again told wrong info sent. Not true.I then got the vet to send info. Pet drugs then said 'Dear Customer , Your prescription has been reviewed by our in-house vet team and has failed the prescription check for the following reason – The name of the product ordered does not match the name of the medication your vet has prescribed'ie they know better than the vet.Unbelievable. AVOID

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! They are unscrupulous and dishonest. They sold me f de of food that made my puppy very sick. I had to fight for a refund. I paid £40 to return this food and they refunded me less than 50% of the money I paid them. I’m now commencing legal proceedings against them as they will not get away with theft. Terrible company. Very dishonest and please avoid!!!

I do not recommend ordering…

I do not recommend ordering prescription medication from here. I ordered a generic brand of medication and they won't process my order because they want me to order the brand name, even though it's the exact same drug as given on the prescription. Never had a problem with this before with other websites.

£45 out of pocket from having to buy an…

£45 out of pocket from having to buy an emergency supply of Thyronol from my local vet, who say they sent the prescription at the start of this week for my order, which I paid express delivery on. PDO say they never received it, but who am I to believe? The vet I've been with for decades or the website that are basically admitting they don't use a reliable email service for their critical sales operations? No one took any responsibility, so I have no way of avoiding this happening again. There are not many good alternatives, but I must find one because I'm not one of the majority who put a pet to sleep when the costs get like this.

In my opinion the right hand in this…

In my opinion the right hand in this company doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. After visiting their site I ordered prescription medicine for my pet. I noted delivery for PRESCRIPTION meds was slower than standard but was willing to accept the 3-5 days quoted.They took 8 days to deliver and when I complained about the delay the brushed it off by saying PRESCRIPTION orders take a bit longer. Clearly the don’t read their own terms of stated delivery. I asked for a refund of the postage as they had clearly missed their stated time which they ignored. I will definitely NOT order anything from this company again.I would describe my experience with their customer service as shoddy at best.

This review is for Pet Drugs online - cannot say how grateful I am for them recognising the urgency of a missed dose and sending my dogs urgent Clomicalm prescription next day (Saturday morning), despite me ordering it a couple of hours after the cut off time. Thank you so very much Emily and the team for helping me and my dog.

I have been trying for a week to make a…

I have been trying for a week to make a telephone order. I do not have a computer and prefer this method. Obviously Pet Drugs on Line do not. Something quite bizarre going on. On one attempt I was told I was 92 in queue. All week I have had ridiculous waiting times quoted. Today's last attempt was 42 in queue. So I have ordered elsewhere. They have now lost my custom. Are they bothered ? Probably not.

Absolutely dreadful company

Absolutely dreadful company. My dogs veterinary diet food arrived burst (this has happened before- i stupidly assumed it was a one off). I emailed, attached numerous photos of all aspects of the issue. I eventually received a copy and paste type response asking for photos of the issue (already sent) and offering me either a partial refund or a replacement bag. Now this indicates that the original complaint was not read or opened or given any sort of attention- if they had they would have seen the photos. Secondly the food was now contaminated and had been burst/opened for an indeterminate amount of time so is unusable. Their offer of a replacement bag doesn't fill me with confidence and despite asking repeatedly for an update and advising ive already sent photos, it has taken days to respond again to me. Avoid at all costs. Im sitting here a week later still without dog food and still without a refund

Excellent…

I have been using this company for five years and order regularly for my diabetic dog. Orders arrive promptly and I have never had any issues. Highly recommend.

Possible fraudulent charge

I had a debit on my credit card saying that it was from from this company but I have never ordered from them. I have reported it to the card issuers who are going to refund the money but I have no idea how they got my details. Needless to say my card has been blocked.

Poor experience upon 1st order

Ordered items for a poorly dog, paid for Saturday delivery and waited in all day for items, which never arrived. Contacted customer services and was refunded delivery charge. Item two days in still not arrived so have cancelled complete order. Maybe not the fault of the company but 3rd party, however upon contact there was no option to resend, or use Royal Mail Special Delivery. Think before using this company. May be cheapest online, but you get what you pay for. Would not use again

Their service is great

Their service is great. Cheaper than the shops as I have to buy special food for my dog, and much cheaper than the vet. I buy in bulk, and normally get the delivery the next day. I've been using them for about 3 years and had no issues. Highly recommend

Terrible customer service, extremely unsympathetic, slow and come up with arbitrary rules that make no sense in the real world.

Definitely not using this company again…

Definitely not using this company again for my dog’s prescription. Read my prescription wrong - even after speaking to my vet, they still refused to dispense my dog’s prescription. My dog will not get her medication on time now! Frustrated to say the least!!
