I bought the $60/Hour package for 30 hours. I paid $1800 for an AP Physics 1 Tutor and he was a great tutor! I stopped meeting with him after the AP test and over summer break because there was no need for a tutor during that period. In August, I called Premier Tutoring to ask how many hours I had left in my account and they told me I had 17.75 hours left. Two months later, I booked a two hour session with my physics tutor again only to be told that I have no hours left in my account! So now I'm $60 in debt (my tutor only charges $30 per hour, but premier tutoring charges $60).I called them and asked to help me set up a contract to start using my UNUSED HOURS THAT NEVER EXPIRE again and the sarcastic lady over the phone started explaining to me that hours are just like "gift cards. You can't go to Target and expect to return your purchase just any time you want". I told her I was never told about the hours expiring and asked her where it's stated in the terms and conditions and she said "I don't know, but it's like that for every company." I looked it up on their website and it CLEARLY STATES that unused hours NEVER expire. I told her that I even kept track of all the hours I used and that the company even told me how many hours I had left in my account and she simply said "That's great".Debating whether I should sue them or not. Wish I can give them 0 star rating.

When I bought the 10 hours I was told I can use them any time I want. I got a physics tutor for 3 hours. He was really bad and didn’t teach me anything at all. When he went over the problems with me he didn’t know the answers and was confused about the material. Then my mom got a tutor for 3.5 hours to help her with her essay. The tutor mostly talked and barely helped. The professor didn’t accept the essay that the tutor “helped” writing. I had 3.5 hours left and didn’t use them for more than 6 month since the tutors are bad. Today I decided to call them and get one for Ap physics since I was told I can use them any time I need. They told me that the hours have expired. How is this fair. They are just scamming people. They never warned me that there’s an expiration date. Basically my mom wasted $650 on nothing. Took away 3.5 hours from us and the rest of the hours were wasted by incompetent tutors.THIS IS A SCAM, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

They don’t want to refund me. After 15 days having made the payment, they couldnt find a Tutor. They said: “ We won’t to refund you” because our policy say, we just refund after second tutoring sessions . How can I take the tutoring, if they don't a sign a tutor? Worst experience with premier tutoring
I called Premier tutoring for my daughter who told me they will find a tutor in 2 to 3 days which never happen. Finley after few days they found a tutor who was not weird because she was charging me 3 hours travel time for one hour tutoring and premier charged me two extra payments without verifying the hours from me. I'm glad I checked my credit card and found 2 extra payments. Premier is the worse tutoring service. I will not recommend to anyone

I signed up with Premier Tutoring a few weeks ago after having much success with other tutoring platforms. The first student they put me in touch with was lovely and we had a great session and booked another for the following week. Unfortunately I have never received payment for the hours I worked with this student. What made things even worse is that they did nothing to help when I contacted them. The person I spoke with was rude and dismissive and would not recommend working with this company.

This review is for this company: premiertutoring dot comI called Premier tutoring to obtain tutoring services for my son. I was told on the phone REPEATEDLY that if he did not use all of the hours purchased that the hours were refundable. I even confirmed with the representative again that the hours were refundable prior to the purchase of 100 hours of tutoring for $4000. There was no mention of any terms/conditions for refund. I verbally approved the $4000 credit card charge, and did not ever see or was sent any terms/conditions for the services or charges. After 5 hours of tutoring, my son was not happy with the tutor and he stopped the tutoring and eventually failed the school he was enrolled. I called Premier Tutoring to request a refund of the remaining $3810 balance for 95 hours of unused tutoring services. I was then told that unless services are cancelled within the first two hours of services, the remainder of hours are unrefundable. I WAS NEVER INFORMED of this policy, never aware of this policy, was specifically told that the hours were refundable, and never informed of any conditions for refund. I never was sent or signed any contract, disclaimer, acknowledgment of their policies. I asked to talk to a supervisor, who I spoke to and told him that the representative I spoke to prior to purchase had specifically assured me that unused tutoring hours were refundable prior, and never informed of any conditions/terms for refund. He told me that he would research the issue and get back to me that same day. He never called me back. Let me just say that for tutoring services, the company hires tutors as needed. It is not as though because I bought 100hours of services that they prepaid any tutor or are obligated to pay any employee for 100 hours. So attempting to keep $3810 for services, they never provided, which would be pure profit, is simply wrong and unreputable in my opinion. I would have never prepaid for 100hours of tutoring if I had been aware that cancellation was necessary within the first two hours. I disputed the credit card charge, and I am happy to report today, the credit card company closed the dispute in my favor crediting the company $190 for the 5hours of service provided, but refunding me for the 95 hours and $3810 for unused tutoring hours which is what I had requested the credit card company do. Shame on Premier tutoring for attempting to act in this manner.
