We had to switch to Zoom for tutoring during quarantine; it worked well and was quite easy to use. You can share pages on the screen so it's possible for the tutor and student to work together just as if they were meeting in person.Our tutor was excellent-patient and very knowledgeable, we were very happy with her.
Progress parade is a top-notch company. They stand out amongst other tutoring companies with their focus on pairing students with a professionally trained tutor. As parents of students with special needs or even someone who wants their child to make the most possible progress, you can appreciate the importance of a highly-trained tutor compared to a random college or high school kid. Most of their tutors are current or former teachers, specialists, or school psychologists. Some have training in specific programs for specific student issues (think dyslexia training for children with dyslexia). Matches between tutors and students are considered carefully to maximize the opportunity for growth. Highly recommend this company!
This has been a welcome opportunity for my daughter to learn remotely, and to get the one-on-one teaching experience that isn't available at school right now. We're grateful to have found them!
My daughter was struggling with math. We began weekly tutoring and she has shown significant improvement in test scores and confidence. With tutoring going virtual, I was concerned it would be less effective. I am very pleased to report that the sessions continue to be just as beneficial online as in person. I highly recommend Progress Parade for online tutoring!
