Terrible experience with Redwood Coast vacation rentals
I understand Redwood Coast Vacation Rentals has been sold to another company so this review is for Redwood Coast vacation rentalsThe home we had rented to spend Thanksgiving with our family of seven, some of us drove from San Jose and others drove from Seattle,was affected by a storm the night before we arrived and had no power nor water. We were not informed of the problems until we were driving to the house from San Jose, approximately 3pm day of checkin. We were told by the property manager to contact the reservations department for other available properties which we did right away and were only able to leave messages. We heard back from reservations around 7pm day of checkin and were told there were no other properties which could accommodate our family except one house which was more than double the cost of the $375/night we had paid. The customer service was non existent as they had nothing else they could offer us and were told at least we had purchased insurance to cover our losses. It's no surprise the company is no longer in business as they were completely unprofessional and lacked empathy for their customers predicament.

Driftwood beach house
Location is beautiful and it's nice inside but only if you Enjoy being in a Glass jar, Yes NO CURTAINS and NO Central heating and as the property Manager said it's (TEMPERAMENTAL) it's not at all safe and when it rains there is a leak from the roof right on top of the pellet heater and the Plumbing need work, it's load and no long showers the water drains slowly and the inside is nice but the outside needs a lot of attention and if you're looking to stay longer than 2 nights you'll have a hard time taking the trash out into a very small blue wastebasket in the street, and this is so weird but I need to say something there is a man in a Toyota pickup that pulls up and then leaves (WEIRD),.this place is not the greatest but not the worst. Property Manager was not the best and in the house help book it's called LITTLE RIVER HOUSE at Moonstone witch isn't Helpful when you're need help, but maybe they do this so you don't give it a bad review. I'm just being honest my photos tell the story.

The home was well furnished, comfortable, very clean and quite, with off street parking. It’s is located close to downtown and to HSU. The pricing was very reasonable and would absolutely book this home on a future visit.

Lovely Sunny Brae Getaway!
Loved the Sunny Brae Getaway property.Quiet and safe neighborhood. House was clean and well stocked-towels, and kitchen supplies. We even cooked a full Thanksgiving meal...enough pots and pans.Excellent place!

Our stay at the Park Avenue Guest House…
Our stay at the Park Avenue Guest House was very relaxing. The home is well appointed, and has a beautiful view of the Arcata Bay. My family and I were able to enjoy our Thanksgiving Dinner, and relax afterwords.

This is one of the best vacation…
This is one of the best vacation rentals I have ever stayed in ! It was so charming and clean , and the farm animals were a bonus. The location is perfect as well right next to Patrick’s Point where we hiked all day .

This was our second stay at Lincoln House. It is a beautiful, well-equipped space. We had a wonderful family Thanksgiving. It is conveniently located to Arcata and the surrounding communities.We will definitely stay there again.

Lovely and scenic spot
Everything about this condo was exactly as advertised. The unit was spotless, well equipped and very conveniently located to local attractions, including several great spots for breakfast and lunch, with one, The Eatery, being right next door. We loved being in a quiet residential neighbourhood and the panoramic sea views were awesome. Waking up to thick fog on a couple of mornings, then watching it dissipate as the sun rose higher was an experience we don’t often have in Toronto. All in all a most enjoyable stay.

I have used Redwood Coast Vacation Rentals twice and have not been disappointed. They offer clean, cozy homes at affordable prices with a lovely personal touch. I have been very satisfied and highly recommend them.

Serene Redwood Retreat
Serene Redwood Retreat as the charming studio apartment I rented for several days in Arcata. It was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were professional and courteous. I would definitely use them again!
