Maybe choose the genres you don't want?
The idea of picking your preferred genres with this box is a waste of time. I did two orders of this box and out of the 4 books I got 1 is in any of the genres I chose. The "gifts" are worse than the cheap things you find on tiktok surprise videos that clearly came from temu. The worst part of all for me was actually that when I opened my second box they had clearly sprayed it with a cheap perfume that smelled like rose...which I'm allergic to. Overall a decent introduction to some new indie authors of you don't mind getting cheap junk and books you probably won't be interested in reading.

I have been a subscriber for years and I still get so excited every single month that it comes! I absolutely love seeing which books they choose for me and am rarely disappointed by the choices! Overall, this is by far my favorite book box I’ve ever subscribed to and you can’t beat it for the price!

Love this Book subscription service!
Love this Book subscription service!I started with just the single book as I have never tried one of these before and month after month I haven't gotten a book that I didn't enjoy. I just upgraded to a multiple book box and i'm so excited to see what I get. This has saved me money and introduced me to Authors and books I wouldn't normally buy or be introduced to otherwise. I would recommend this box to anyone who enjoys a good romance.

I love these books. I run fewother business I use the swag to go in for prizes soon I'm going to up it to the 4 book box I live the personal signature to. Also I love that I can place myself in the time of the book.

Bad customer service, below average books for the price
I'm not very happy with my first box of 4 books. The swag isn't really swagging if you know what I mean. Also i got a book from a genre I didn't choose and I made many choices. I didn't do the minimum. With them having the ability to pick from all of their books they still sent me one from a style I didn't choose and don't enjoy. Really disappointed.I reached out to customer service and was informed that it fell under a category i misunderstood. I suggested that maybe they give a description of what they consider each genre. I was told that basically maybe this service wasn't right for me. Not sure how that is very good customer service. Also they said they don't have to follow the preferences. In my case it was a difference in what I thought they meant for a category. I didn't ask for a replacement. I just asked that they do what they could to prevent this in the future and not act defensive because I came to them with a problem. I was not rude. I just wanted to understand why I got the book I didn't think fit my preferences. They called it a mystery box too. Yet advertise it as to your preferences. So I get mixed messages from them. In the end it's fun if you want the random books that are signed by the author but you know there are many many signed copies so just expect random books and if you want the swag it's pretty cheap stuff that's not really worth it. Once you add shipping for the same price you could pick books and know you'll be happy with them. I thought it would be fun to have them be a surprise as I've been reading romance since I was a teen. I'm new to the book subscriptions thing so I did some research and found that many people suggest other services and I'm now on the wait list for those. I did contact customer service and give them a few days to respond to ask why I should keep their services before I canceled and got no reply. I guess it's for the best as their customer service agent that told me maybe this service wasn't for me is not the kind of person I want to give my money to. I don't expect the world. I do hope for compassion and a desire to help and fix any issues. They saw it as it was not an issue and really frustrated me with the way they talked to me for example this "We do care very much about our readers and we make every effort to correct issues when we make a mistake. However, we are not Amazon. We are a small business" I don't think they realize how defensive this sounds as well as the fact that they didn't offer any solution and ignored my suggestion to update the preferences so everyone knows what they mean.The funny thing is with Amazon I can buy exactly what I want to read for the same price per book. So they aren't helping by bringing this up. I'm not looking to pay the same price for books and get books i won't read. It being a surprise isn't fun if you get stuff you can't use. I gave them a very easy solution that would be more inclusive of every type of reader. So be careful with this company. I hope this helps people to know what they may be dealing with. It's probably a great service if you have low expectations but I don't feel like they would fix any issues as they told me both that the book was in my preferences and that it didn't matter as they are allowed to not follow the preferences.

I love getting my subscription box! Every month if different and I get a variety of books and swag. I've been getting the box for a couple years now and get so excited when I see that pink box in the mail!

I love getting the subscription box! I always get super excited while I wait for it to come in the mail. I always get great books and super cute extras. I've been subscribed since November and I've actually upgraded my box from the 2 book to the 6 book!

Im very pleased with my experience so far
I get just the book, no extra stuff. But the last 3/4 times i've gotten a book from them, I loved them! And the one book I didn't like it had nothing to do with them. It was in the genre that I clicked that I liked. The book itself just wasn't clicking with me, but overall, I'm very happy with my experience. Excited for my next book to come!

The subscription box is really fun
The subscription box is really fun. The paperbacks are always in excellent condition and I love the little gifts they throw in every box. I’ve received probably 12-15 boxes. With that being said, every single book I’ve received is on Kindle Unlimited which I subscribe to so I’ll keep Kindle Unlimited. It’s been fun though!

Getting this subscription has been the best thing I have done in a long time. I love the books I get each month. This last box has been the best. I can't put the books down. They match the kind of books I like really well. I am definitely keeping this subscription.

I purchased the biggest box during the Black Friday sale. I was expecting books similar to the ones that are in the ads but I got a bunch of books I will never read 😪 One piece of candy and the extra bookish things seem really cheap. Disappointed for sure. Wish I could return it.

A great variety
I enjoy this book subscription because it helps me find new authors that I enjoy reading. We all have access to Kindle, but it doesn't mean you will automatically read random authors. But when they are sent to you as a surprise in a box, it's easy to curl up with a book on the couch and try it!
