I got a $239 charge, no idea who this company is and they are no responding to be but creatoru by samcart contested my credit card dispute and they charged me even though I did not agree to charges and did not get any product!Scammed me out of my limited funds and will respond to my bank but not to me.. do not trust them.

Updated, Samcart Tech support Resolved Issue
Customer service is relatively non existent. After posting to the AI chat bot who could not answer my questions lead to nothing more than an email saying it would be passed to a live person, I paid for live chat support. That was a week ago. I got an email from a support person and four days later I still don't have resolution or a response saying that the issue is being worked on. What exactly am I paying for? Update 3/4 Tech support came to the rescue and resolved the issue I was having. They were very professional and apologetic about their slow response time. Let's move forward.

Over promised and under deliver
Over promised and under deliver. Bought SamCart and built my 1page sale funnel. Set up custom SSL and every is configured but they don't provide tech support to do their job on the back end for my custom URL to work. When I reached tech support, all I got is generic AI message and putting in queue.

Missing a lot of core features
While I will admit that Samcart has some great features - funnels, upsells, responsive live humans for customer service with great communication skills - overall, this service has caused me a lot of headaches.I have found that there are many CORE FEATURES lacking that cause major issues for me. Tons of bugs in their page building features - things that cost me money like checkout buttons with no colors and only borders (bad UI), no way to send out manual emails to your customer list (must import to a third party platform manually, such as Mailchimp), and if you plan on doing something like automated cart abandonment follow-up, be prepared to use tons of complicated tech and multiple third-party setups to make it happen. In short: it is not as straightforward as they market.Speaking of marketing, I have caught them in a marketing LIE through their paid ads claiming their AI can write the copy on your sales page, design it for you, and all these magical things in only SECONDS. I asked their customer service multiple times how to do this, and they said it wasn't possible, effectively misleading new people to sign up. Be aware. I was highly disappointed in their lack of integrity.Finally, I moved to Samcart from Payhip. While the checkout process is much more robust and I appreciate the ability to upsell, cross-sell, add order bumps, etc. it has much to improve in its reporting functions. Payhip is much more simple in the checkout process but at least it offers built in VAT (Samcart adds it to the final checkout price, making customers complain to me about the surprise total), reporting on Samcart does not include fees nor refunds from third parties such as Stripe, and I have to manually calculate the VAT, refund adjustments, and fees that belong to Samcart vs other platforms I use. In short: it is an accounting nightmare prone to human errors and missing information. Even more basic platforms have these features. Seriously concerning, Samcart!For as much as Samcart charges and how much effort they put into marketing, I believe they need to stop focusing on constantly adding shiny new features and improve their core features. I am also disappointed in their lack of integrity catching them in full-on lies in their ads and under-delivering.On a positive note, their customer service is amazing (but I pay for live chat, otherwise you have to wait a while for answers by email) and I really like the options on their checkout pages.In summary - there is much to be improved in very important areas like accounting features, email features and integrations, and not overpromising what they cannot deliver. Their #1 goal is getting more clients over integrity of the product. Use at your own discretion.

⭐️⭐️ Two Stars – Not Ready for Physical Product SubscriptionsSamCart may work well for digital products, but if you sell physical products with subscriptions, proceed with extreme caution.We are a Top 100 Small Business in the United States, and we migrated to SamCart expecting a streamlined, scalable subscription experience. Instead, this switch caused months of operational disruption due to fundamental limitations with physical products.The most serious issue was shipping on subscriptions. SamCart charges shipping per product on every rebill, rather than once per order. What should have been a single $7 shipping charge per cycle was instead applied to each item in the subscription, resulting in customers being overcharged by $20+ per cycle. This directly impacts customer trust and retention.The “solution” provided by support was a workaround requiring duplicate versions of every product: • One product with shipping enabled • Another with shipping disabled for order bumpsThis is not scalable for a real physical-goods business.Even more problematic: once a customer purchases a product, that product becomes locked and cannot be edited. Any issue with pricing, shipping, or subscription logic requires duplicating the product and creating an entirely new one just to fix mistakes. This leads to product sprawl, operational confusion, and unnecessary risk.Customer support was also slow and not particularly helpful, with long response times and no clear ownership of the problem. We were told the system was “being tested” while customers were actively being overcharged.This transition hurt our business for several months until we were able to unwind the setup and move back to Shopify, where shipping logic works correctly, subscription products are editable, and fulfillment and checkout live in one system.SamCart has potential, but it is not production-ready for physical product subscriptions. If you sell supplements, consumables, or any recurring physical goods, this platform still has significant growth to do.

hilariously over rated
The biggest barrier to any piece of software is support. Basically simply knowing how to use the platform to actually accomplish the thing you set out to do, and the entire reason you’re even with the company to begin with. The problem then with Samcart is they have very general help guides that almost never actually help you accomplish the task at hand. Then they offer dedicated live help at a small upcharge which sounds great but is no where to be found. When you email support, you get an Ai bot responding with the same garbage non-answers.. just more articles. The way they keep you going is is with motivational videos telling you how easy it is and how Samcart is the best thing since sliced bread… The biggest annoyance is the lack of customization.. it’s abyssmal… as a funnel builder, this alone was enough for me to opt out.

Buyer Beware -What You Need to Know Before Giving Your $$$ to SamCart/Creator U Accelerator Program
I joined the Creator U Accelerator Program in March 2024. I paid $7,000 for the program. Based on my experience, what I received did not match what I believed was being sold based on the sales call I had with their representative who promised a number of things over the course of the year that were never actually delivered.Key deliverables, as I understood them, quietly vanished. Replays of training sessions were removed. The coaching structure shifted without any explanation. There was no “done-for-you” aspect to the CreatorU Accelerator program that was delivered at all – except for 1 funnel set up, which netted 0 sales after a year of me fumbling with changing e-book covers, tweaking content with relatively inexperienced staff and 0 meaningful support. No social media ads were done, created or even discussed and this was promised as a key component of the “done-for-you” aspect of the program.On the initial sales call which prompted me to sign the contract with SamCart, I was promised 2 of 4 calls with their senior coach. As soon as the ink was dry on that contract, I found out it would be just 1 call, and the remaining 3 calls would be with their staff. This was misleading and incredibly disappointing right off the bat. When I raised concerns and eventually requested a refund, I was told I should have decided within three (3) days of joining the program – despite this being a long-term, high-ticket coaching program. Three days was an insufficient amount of time to fully experience the quality and depth of this program which fell short in almost all the deliverables promised. I am aware that many other participants have reported very similar concerns: sudden coaching changes, missed deliverables, and an overall program experience that did not match what was originally advertised or promised in the initial sales call. I also have serious concerns about my data that resides on their servers with 0 access to it unless I continue paying for subscriptions to their Typset platform and SamCart which are of no use to me. There has been no communication to me about their data management policies (where my data has been stored or deleted after the program ended).I am further aware that SamCart has refunded some people who joined the Accelerator program around the same time as me, the full amount of $7000 but has denied refunding others like myself with the exact same concerns. SamCart has offered no explanation for their selective refund policy. This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. To lose $7000 at a time when money is tight not just for me, but for a lot of people, speaks volumes to the lack of professional and moral integrity of SamCart. As of today, I have sent multiple emails and a registered mail letter demanding a full refund of $7000 for a program that fell short of its deliverables. I was misled all the way. No one has reached out me in good faith, to refund an unsatisfied customer. It is the only correct customer service response given their program’s shortcomings. It seems SamCart does not care that there are many disgruntled customers who feel ripped off by them. If you are considering the CreatorU Accelerator program, please be cautious. Do your homework. Check multiple reviews. Ask detailed questions. Negotiate the refund terms or pay in instalments. Get clear, written confirmation on the deliverables and understand your recourse if they do not meet them. Do not buy into this program solely on the basis of a single sales call.I am sharing this review so that others can make a fully informed decision and not lose their hard-earned money to a program that isn’t what was promised on a sales call. Update: 12/11/2025I have been emaling with brian and I have been informed that i will be supplied a full refund. It took longer since they seemed to closed on the weekends, but they did refund my money and stated that i shouldn't be charged without my premission in the futureI was never a customer with this company and was charged after a year being on their email list. They charged me for a course that claim is no refundable and I haven’t looking into this company in over a year! I don’t plan on using the course because I went into a different direction a year ago and don’t even know how they got my payment information. If this was an error and I am supplies a full refund I’ll delete this review or change it if they do what is write. I don’t even have an account with the company! Have no idea how they are able to charge me a year later is mind blowing to me for a $240 course at 3am in the morning while I was asleep. I am waiting for them to email me back and I will be calling today to resolve this and found out how they were able to charge my account a year later and I never used their services. I was charged literally a few hours ago and never accessed any of their platforms so I expect a full refund. Update. It’s been 48 hours with no response or acknowledge via email. I was charged wrongly but this is bad customer service in general. I will continue to update until have receive a response from this company about my issue. 12/6/2025

INVESTMENT DOES NOT MATCH EFFORT FROM THEM
I invested a significant amount of money with SamCart in 2025 after being assured their “Done For You” program would meet me where I was. I already had a completed e-book and only needed help with restyling, rebranding, and creating a landing page and funnel that spoke to my audience.What I received was not what was promised.Instead of personalized support, I was placed into a large group with a very generic process. The landing page I got was fully AI-generated, did not reflect my brand or message, and did not speak to the divorcing homeowners and families I serve. It felt like a one-size-fits-all template, not a custom service.I gave SamCart a second chance, hoping for a different experience, but the same thing happened again. Being misled twice after such a big investment was extremely disappointing.If you’re considering this program, ask very specific questions about what “done for you” actually means, how much personalization you’ll receive, and who is doing the work. My experience did not match what I was sold, and I want others to be aware before they commit.

It’s good. I’m not techie. I work on building samcart out after hours and weekends and they aren’t open. Nor is samcart chat. No biggie. So I use ChatGPT screenshots and questions back and forth to help me navigate finding features and next steps otherwise I wouldn’t know where or what to do. Still learning but did get the links and test payments to work. So far so good.
