Customer service is very slow.

Their sales cart never completed my order but charged my PayPal account

UPDATE: They finally refunded me, but NEVER responded to any of my emails or phone messages. I ordered from their website but my order was never completed due to an error in their sales cart. However they did charge my PayPal account. And then they kept sending me emails asking me to finish my order. I did not want to be charged twice so I emailed them three times, I called them and left a message, and have not yet heard back except for automated email responses. Their customer service is terrible. I am a small business owner and I know how important it is to resolve issues as quickly as possible. At this point, even though I like their products, I would never order from them again.

Disappointed After Years of Loyalty

Disappointed After Years of LoyaltyI’ve been a loyal customer since 2020 and have always loved the products — in fact, I use the essential oils in all of the products I make and sell in my own store. Unfortunately, things changed after the company switched from USPS to a new delivery service, Gofo.I never received my September recipe box, and when I reached out for help, customer service was unhelpful and redirected me to contact the carrier myself. Gofo claimed they couldn’t deliver, but I was left to do all the follow-up. To make things worse, my subscription was canceled due to lack of resolution — not by me.As someone who depends on these products for my business, this experience has been incredibly frustrating. I shouldn’t have to chase down my own packages, especially after years of consistent, reliable service. I hope the company re-evaluates its shipping partners and support policies, because the products are great — but the service has seriously declined.

Hi all 👋🏼 I’ve been on the monthly subscription since February 2025. So far I really like getting my deliveries. I live in the Rv & I have moved my shipping date with ease. I have moved with my Rv and still received my monthly shipment without issues. I would like to see them get their own app. I’m older and have issues finding information with ease. The app would really help my old lady brain. Each time it’s a learning experience on how to find a certain area of study. They do have FB videos and YouTube as well which helps a lot. They r kind about helping me, I don’t want to be a burden on the little stuff like finding the hero lessons. They have so much to offer, friendly & courteous as well.Love the quality and it smells wonderful & works effectively. I’m building my confidence and have made my son 2 roll-ons as well as 2 for myself. I plan on making more stuff like soaps, hair care, candles and deodorant to name a few. Being retired I’m learning more about the benefits of essential oils for everyday life. Thank u SE!

Finally Found the Best One For Me.

My experience with this company has been going well for over a year now, I have tried others and stopped either due to price or a lack of information needed to make and use the products. I have learned a lot from the information Simply Earth provides, and I love my monthly box. It gives you what you need to get started, like I did. They get you started, and you take it from there. I also love that with every oil, you can keep and download a GC-MS report detailing each element in each oil. That is very important to me. I have sensitivities, and so do some of my family members. Their customer service is always quick to respond and help where and when they can. From helping find a certain product to just answering simple questions, I have not been left without options. As far as the recipes go, there are so many to choose from. Simply Earth provides you with reading material, videos, and downloadable pamphlets for you to use to make the best decisions. Thank you Simply Earth.

Scam and untrusted company

Don't use this company, I need to share the scam they pulled on me.I was fooled by the course + big box and decided to give them a chance instead of placing my order with REVIVE.Well, I placed the order and received the oils yesterday, but to my surprise I was taxed 30% of the amount I paid in the US, some company or organization called COD.I contacted SimplyEarth and they said "I can't help you with anything, because you have to pay import taxes".Well, I know I have to pay 13% for imports to Canada and nothing else to the US, but it doesn't matter to you, I already paid, you already have my money so it doesn't matter.I hope some of this group have the courage to read this testimonial and run away from this company!!!! This company doesn't deserve it.Buy oils from DoTerra, Revive, Plant Therapy.

Too expensive for what you get.

I ordered a recipe box for my mom she got a bonus box which thankfully she did for being new. Had I ordered this normally monthly subscription I would have been PISSED!!! As it would not have come w a bonus box and 4 oils 1 tiny thing of cocoa butter 1 tiny thing of wax and 1 lip gloss roll on thing is not worth 47.99!!!!! No containers, Not all materials here. Never again. And the oils were very hard to get open. My mom and I both have canceled our subscriptions! There are a lot of other places to get organic things from. Thankfully w her starter box she got the free bonus box which contains necessary ingredients to use. We were both so excited to see this box. What a let down!

Card charged, merch never received.

EDIT: for cryin' out loud. This review is for SIMPLYEARTHA.com NOT simplyearth.com.It's an Eartha Kitt website run by her daughter, Kitt Shapiro.I ordered merchandise from the website which I never received. I contacted the company by phone once and got an automated answering machine. I also emailed four times and never received a response. They are happy to charge my card though! I had to contact my CC company to dispute the charge because I could never get in touch with anyone from the company/website.

Quality Ingredients & A+ Training Course

First of all I am loving all the oils and other goodies that come in my subscription box each month! 🌿💚Second, the team at Simply Earth have put together a Essential Oil Hero Course!!! It is easy to understand and user friendly. The print outs are super helpful and I really enjoy the training videos with Katie. Lots of good information!!!I encountered a problem, I emailed them and they took care of it! I am so happy with this company!

Cancelled Subscription in Less than 30 Days!!

I signed up on 12/25/21 and cancelled my subscription on 1/12/21. Unfortunately my experience has not been positive. While I do believe their intentions are good, A LOT of improvement is needed. I sent an email sharing multiple concerns due to seeing many "recipes" not being properly formulated. NO MATTER WHAT - Essential Oils and water DO NOT MIX. Example - Making a DIY hand sanitizer with Aloe and Tea Tree is NOT SAFE. Aloe is water based and the essential oils will NEVER disperse properly - EVER. This is only one reason. There are MANY more reasons why this type of product should be NOT be a DIY. Do your research before making a product someone else posted so you KNOW it will be effective AND safe!!Example - the chemo types should be included in the information as it is necessary for determining which oil is best for the blend being created. I sent many emails asking which species and chemotype for the Rosemary essential oil I received. NO ANSWER. I sent multiple emails requesting the GC/MS reports for the oils I did receive as it is important to know the distillation dates of every essential oil you have so you can keep track of the shelf life. And a GC/MS report provides so much valuable information about the precious oil you have. To sum it up, all but one email received was automated. I've also been unsubscribing to their emails every week for the past four weeks. Yes, I'm STILL getting emails. It's great to get something for a good price, however, there are many options available. If you want to make cosmetic products for your family and home, it's worth every penny enrolling in some basic aromatherapy and formulation courses.

awesome customer service

I started subscribing to their box in May and I love it. It is not like young living (which I also am a customer of). Not only in their box do you receive little recipes but it is affordable. Well they ran a special on Memorial Day which I was contemplating on purchasing some oils. I added them to my cart and was going to edit the oils and add the discount and see my total before checking out when for whatever reason it went ahead and submitted my order. I guess that's the disadvantage of saving your payment info onto an account. Well I wrote them to ask if I could cancel or if not at least get that discount onto that purchase. I received a quick response and a $20 gift card added to my account. I was super happy. This just gave me one more reason to love SimplyEarth!
