I purchased three round-trip tickets in November 2025 to ensure my family’s travel plans well in advance. Both flights were cancelled approximately one month before departure, causing significant inconvenience and financial uncertainty.Although refunds were processed, the late cancellation forced us to search for alternative flights at much higher prices.This experience was highly disappointing and disrupted our family vacation plans.
They cancelled the flight and refused to refund the money.So stay away from them ...

Worst airlines ever. I am extremely disappointed with the service provided. My flight was delayed by four hours. Although compensation was approved, my subsequent emails regarding the matter have been completely ignored. This lack of communication and follow-through is unacceptable and highly unprofessional.
Worst airline experience of my life. Absolutely unacceptable.I flew Bucharest – Phu Quoc and return with this airline, and I can honestly say it was a nightmare from start to finish.The outbound flight to Phu Quoc took 12.5 hours and included a so-called “technical stop” in Sharjah for refueling, where we were forced to stay inside the aircraft for over one hour without being allowed to disembark. This alone is unacceptable for a long-haul flight.The onboard services were miserable: • Food quality was extremely poor (one portion of pasta and one sandwich for the entire long flight) • Only one 0.5L bottle of water • When we tried to order extra food or drinks, they were out of stock • No proper service planning for a long-distance flightThe return flight was even worse and completely chaotic. We were informed there would be three technical stops: • Bangladesh • Sharjah • ChișinăuThis is not a normal airline route and this is NOT a normal passenger experience. In Chișinău, some passengers were even allowed to disembark, although this was not an official layover, which is extremely unprofessional and confusing. Then the final leg was Chișinău – Bucharest.Total travel time back to Bucharest: 19 hours.Some refueling stops lasted up to 3 hours, with passengers trapped inside the plane. This is simply unacceptable in 2025 aviation standards.Cabin crew behavior was disgraceful: • Flight attendants avoided speaking English • Rude and disrespectful attitude • Clearly discriminatory behavior toward passengers of nationalities other than Ukrainian • No professionalism, no customer care, no empathyThe food on the return flight was just as bad, poor quality and insufficient for such a long journey.This company should not operate long-haul flights if it cannot provide: • proper logistics • basic passenger comfort • professional staff • adequate food and water • minimal service standardsIf you cannot afford to operate long-distance flights properly — don’t operate them at all.This was a humiliating, exhausting, and degrading experience.I will NEVER fly with this airline again and I strongly advise everyone to avoid it.Worst airline. Worst service. Worst organization.Total disgrace to aviation standards.
Till 3. October no answer or any decision about our damaged luggage. Impossible! Still verification the documents and nothing more. They send something to shut the mouth... Be aware and stay the hell away!
I've always recommended this Airline previously, being Ukrainian, I always wanted to support the Ukrainian business as well as had zero problems with their services previously, but recently I've got into a situation related to the cancellation of the flights, bought 'on sale' half a year ago (It was a Chisinau - Lisbon flight and the return one also). That flight I bought for my mom to visit us at Portugal and meet be present on her grand daughter's 1st birthday, so we were planning lots of things for those exact dates (5th to 8th of December) and 10 days in advance I get notified that the flights are cancelled. Well we've lost a shitload of money cause we needed to reschedule out activities and places reserved. I was pissed, but I also understand that can happen, but the thing is they have done this again. Yesterday I have received notifications that:- U5451 RMO - LIS 30-01-2026 - U5452 LIS - RMO 06-02-2026 are cancelled too, and there's no option to change to some other dates, it looks like there's no other flight to Lisbon from Chisinau until April (at least). So they kind'a give you an option to select different dates but in reality it means those dates will be half a year from now. Refund is of course an option, but the tickets were bought half a year ago with a price of 50-100 euro, and now the new tickets that I have to buy for the same dates are at least 3 times more expensive. Alternative would be wasting my previously scheduled and planned days off as well as losing money on hotels and activities booked in advance.So this is the last drop for me, I won't be using this airline any more as well as I won't recommend anyone doing so too.
I am writing this review to warn everyone considering flying with this company: do not do it. This was, without a doubt, the most appalling and unprofessional airline experience I have ever endured. If you are choosing between a direct flight with this airline and a connecting flight with literally anyone else, choose the connection. It will save your nerves, your money, and your health.My ordeal began with a flight delay that turned a 2-hour flight into a 19-hour nightmare. Throughout this entire time, the communication was either nonexistent or deliberately confusing. There were more than 10 (!!!!!!) flight delays one by one. Every two hours or so, they spammed us with these messages, but the airport staff said they had no connection with the airline and that we should not rely on this information. The staff at Prague Airport were visibly shocked by the sheer incompetence and irresponsibility of this airline. They openly admitted that dealing with this carrier is a burden for them as well, citing zero communication from the airline’s representatives. We were left in the dark, abandoned by the very company we paid to transport us.The conditions on board were just as terrible. The aircraft was uncomfortable and freezing cold, which resulted in me getting sick immediately after the flight. It felt like they had absolutely no regard for passenger welfare or basic comfort standards.To make matters worse, their scheduling is completely erratic. I purchased a round-trip ticket, only to have my return flight arbitrarily moved by two days without any explanation or reasonable notice. This forced me to scramble for accommodation and incur significant unexpected expenses, as I had already booked hotels based on the original dates.The aftermath has been just as frustrating. I filed a formal complaint regarding compensation for the massive delay, the missed work, and the financial damages I suffered. It has been over a month, and my claim is still "under review." Their customer support is unresponsive, unhelpful, and frankly rude. They show zero empathy and seem determined to drag this out until I give up.This company demonstrates a total lack of respect for its passengers, safety regulations, and basic service standards. Avoid them at all costs.
SkyUp approved my compensation under EU Regulation 261/2004 and then simply failed to pay it for months. Instead of a payment date, the airline sends repeated, copy-paste responses with no real information. Excusing this behavior with a "high number of similar cases" is unacceptable and suggests a systemic problem. Another passenger from the same flight is being treated in exactly the same way. This conduct seriously undermines trust in SkyUp and its compliance with passenger rights.
Very bad experience with SkyUp AirlinesFlight U5488 was delayed over and over again, with constant schedule changes and no clear information provided.In the end, the total delay was 9 hours and 50 minutes.No proper communication, no explanation, and an extremely long and exhausting wait at the airport.Terrible management and complete lack of respect for passengers. I strongly recommend avoiding this airline.
Return flight to Tallinn from Hurghada 1st of october was delayed almost 24 hrs and didnt receive any communication from airline until few hours had passed from the original departure time. Waiting at the airport with no services (it was evening and checkin/security staff didnt let us to the airside) - finally during early hours of morning we were able to checkin just to learn there is another delay, and when finally boarding the plane broke down.We were offered one water bottle and one warm meal, no staff anywhere to give updates.Still up to date (dec 15) no response to the compensation for delay has received.
It’s extremely frustrating to be dealing with the airline. We had a 5 hour delay for a flight almost 6 months ago, and after promptly filing for reimbursement (was filed the same day) and getting APPROVED, the refund is still nowhere to be seen. When contacting the airline all you get is “please be patient and wait”. No clear indication of the timeline at all. Horrendous experience.

Flight U5463 from Chisinau to Prague on November 5-6, 2025 was a nightmare.WHAT HAPPENED:- Flight diverted to Vienna instead of Prague (captain claimed fog, but Prague airport board showed ALL other flights landed successfully)- Kept in aircraft for 2 hours in Vienna- Captain personally promised hotel accommodation and transfer - NEVER PROVIDED- Abandoned at Vienna airport overnight with no assistance- Total delay: 14 hours 50 minutes (scheduled arrival 17:10, actual departure from Vienna 08:00 next day)- After sleepless night, removed from flight without valid reason (I was completely sober)- Now refusing to pay EU261 compensation (€500 owed)- Customer service contact links in their emails DON'T WORKVIOLATIONS:✗ EU Regulation 261/2004 - compensation for 15-hour delay✗ Denied boarding without valid reason✗ Failed to provide promised care (hotel/transport)✗ Non-functional customer serviceEVIDENCE:Booking reference: U8223QTicket: TKNE-0990990619611Have SMS confirmations from SkyUp TeamFiling complaint with Czech Civil Aviation Authority. Booked a trip from Frankfurt to Hurghada, Family of four. Day of flight, , we show up at the airport for 710 pm flight, get to the counter. Delayed until 815 pm. 815 pm comes...chatter starts someone I. Line calls sky up, plane never departed Hurghada flight moved to next day. Day two. Same. They made us wait in line until 2000, flight moved to next day. Day three. Flight supposed to be at noon finally. A plan eventually showed up at 130 in the afternoon. Two full days of our vacation missed. They did put people up in an airport hotel who needed it. Spend the last three days trying to file a claim against the airline un EU compensation rules. Of course airlines claim website does not work properly. Back and forth via email, tried three different browsers. Enable all pop ups ECT. Still won't work. Airline says make a full video of me trying to submit the claim so they can see what happening. I am an IT professional, I explain it does not matter how many times I fill out my information and click the submit button. It will not provide the form it's supposed to provide so that I can then sign it and send it back to them. And here I am stuck them insisting I send them a full video of me attempting to submit this claim. I've asked for a different method for submitting my claim and they say this is not possible. I am now sitting my claim via a third party and I am going after gas meals and every other expense I incurred over the two days my flight being pushed.My advice to anybody who gets booked on this airline by the travel agency is to immediately call them and insist on a different Airline. Avoid at all costs.
Worse airlines ever. With the most expensive ticket. Booked a seat in the first row. My seat was completely dammaged. Impossible to sit on. Especially not for a 3 hours and 50 minutes flight. Addressed the issue to a Mr. LUPO, Chief of cabine. He clearly said: "the plane is full. If you want to fly, you'll have to sit on that broken seat. It is up to you!" (FLIGHT ALC --> RMO 15.09.25)
