I will start by saying they have some…

I will start by saying they have some lovely die sets. But beyond that, their customer service is useless, there are very long delays in shipping and they cancel orders without warning. And don't even try and make a change to an order or a return, not happeing. I applauded their changes to their monthly kit, until they cancelled my order two weeks after placing it in January with NO good explanation. Then I should have already been signed up for the next month because I ordered in January, but wasn't, and when I tried to order the kit the morning of the first day, it was 'sold out.' What the heck? They offered no explanation or transparency. My recommendation is to order their dies from Amazon or a third party vendor and skip working with this company directly....

Terrible, Useless Product

If I could, I would give no stars. I bought the Cozy Cluck Chicken Die Cut. The stitch holes are so close to the edge that even using only two strands of floss and a small needle the stitches just pull through the edge of the wool felt, ruining the project. I have made many felt die cut ornaments from other companies, and I’ve never had this issue. So, I tried paper cardstock. Some of the layered pieces only cut stitching holes on the top layer, so you have punch holes through two layers of cardstock an awl or your needle, neither option is fun. So the die doesn’t work on felt or paper for a cost of $42.99! I bought this for fun and it has been an awful waste of my time and supplies. I don’t even want to resell it because it’s so poorly designed and useless. I will never buy a Spellbinder product again.

My Turn Comfort Grip handle is marketed as fitting the Platinum and Scout die cutting machines. With a tiny bit of liquid dishwashing soap applied to the inside of the grip, the handle also fit onto a Big Shot Plus and a Crossover II machine as well as a Scout.

This company just played politics

I endorsed this company when I had a rubber stamping group that was world wide. To me, if this company would have stayed away from asking it's subscribers to send cards to politicians, I would still recommend this company. NOT now and will continue to tell every crafter to avoid this now politicized company.

Terrible customer service, company policies - don’t get roped into their “clubs”

I just wanted to order one embossing folder. Like I would do on any other website. Instead I get roped into them sending me whatever they wanted to and charging my account for it. I tried to cancel through phone calls (they rarely answer) and emails and on their website, but they sent me more stuff anyway. And charged my bank account. I didn’t want it, it was ugly, I never ordered it. I tried to return it - nope they don’t take returns. I tried to exchange for something not as ugly - nope all sales are final. I tried to explain this wasn’t a sale because I didn’t order it in the first place. She hung up on me. She was rude and nasty I think she was Godzilla’s sister. What kind of company has policies like this? What kind of customer service rep hangs upon a customer and still has a job the next day? I will stick with Scrapbook.com. Better stuff, more selection, fast shipping and excellent customer service. Never had a single bad experience with Scrapbook.com, been ordering from them for years. This was my first time (and last) ordering from Spellbinders. I have shared this abhorrent experience with Spellbinders with one of my Facebook groups of over 1000 members and will continue to share it in the others I belong to. All I hear is agreement, yes, don’t ever order from them. I don’t know how Spellbinders stays in business. Just DON’T get roped into their CLUBS! Oh, and be sure you don’t need it for at least a month, shipping is incredibly slow.

Spellbinders Shipping and Delivery sucks!

I love the products and most prices are reasonable but the reason why I gave 2 stars only is the length of shipping and delivery.I ordered just 2 stuff on May 27 hoping that I will get it in 3-7 days as what they promised. It’s not gonna give them a hard and longer time packing a bunch of stuff for 2 items only. I paid the shipping fee since the price is not more $100. But then it’s been more than 10 days and still hasn’t delivered yet. Just checked the tracking with USPS and it’s says that it will be delivered possibly tomorrow on June 10 @ 9pm. That’s almost 2 wks. And I already lost patience using it with my cut- out fridges that has been sitting on my table for a couple of days unfinished. I already started with a new project and almost done with that project. They need to improve their shipping and delivery system. Now I lost appetite ordering for more items on their website.

Unfulfilled orders (Paid for) and bad customer service

Spellbinders should not take your money if they cannot ship in a timely manner. Payment really should only be taken at fulfillment of the order. Taking payment without providing any product is, in my opinion, theft (approx value of my orders $650)Having customers wait 4+ weeks with zero proactive communication is unacceptable, regardless of alleged “glitches” in their “system” which, apparently according to their CEO’s statement on their website, is able to process new orders apparently but not older ones. Over-promising but under-delivering will lose customers’ trust. Spellbinders customer service is not helpful, other than to offer a refund. Based on my experience since 12/21/24, I would not recommend this retailer.

I love Spellbinders products

I love Spellbinders products. I have a Spellbinders Platinum 6 and also the XL (A4). I would buy their products more often but their overseas shipping is very costly. Admittedly, there is a short turn-a-round. I had approximately $50 USD worth of products in my cart, but the shipping was also around that cost, making it very expensive, in addition to the exchange rate (AU/USD). Cheaper to buy from a third-party company, sadly.

I have been a loyal SP customer for…

I have been a loyal SP customer for years and have spent thousands of dollars with them. I placed an order on 11/15/24, but nothing has arrived. I have tried to contact them, but nothing has happened. I am going to call my credit card company and dispute that charge. I am greatly disappointed!!

The absolute WORST customer service

The absolute WORST customer service. I made a mistake on a club order, cancelled it within the allotted window. I have been trying to reach out to them for a week and can't get a response. They still billed me for it. They take FOREVER to ship anything. I highly recommend getting your products from scrapbook.com.

Terrible shipping/customer service

I have ordered products from them for years and have been happy. However, this year the shipping has gotten awful. I broke down after months of not ordering and spent $125, and now 4 weeks later, my items have still NOT been shipped. When I wrote on their YouTube channel about their poor customer service, I received a reply telling me to be patient. I’ll be patient alright. I’ll patiently spend my money elsewhere. Buyer beware.

THREE WEEKS & STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY ORDER

I placed an order with Spellbinders Paper Arts on November 6 and as of November 24 I still don't have the product nor any confirmation that it has even shipped. I emailed them November 15 asking for status and was told they had "system issues due to switching fulfillment software" but that they should be sending it out "next week". Well, "next week" has come and gone, but the order still hasn't even shipped. I will NEVER purchase anything from Spellbinders Paper Arts again. A word of caution to anyone looking to purchase from Spellbinders!

They shipped the add-on but not the main die set

I ordered a die set and an add-on, as well as two other products, in two separate orders to avoid custom fees. They cancelled the main die set, made a refund, but kept the add-on. Now I paid twice GBP 13.25 for shipping fees, for an item I cannot use without the main die-set. I'm very upset. When I wrote to the customer service, they made a copy paste from the first paragraph of their FAQ.When I replied asking to, at least cancel the add-on too, I never got any reply.I don't know how you can sell something you don't have in stock, and, moreover, sell an add-on which doesn't have anything to match.I will order from another company that I can trust from now on.

Beware when ordering from this company

Beware when ordering from this company! The products are amazing but the dispatch time and delivery is unacceptable. Ordered and paid for a machine on the 1st of August and I’m still waiting (now 25th Aug). Contacted customer services they advised me it’s on back order with no idea when to expect it. No apology offered and refused to let me cancel the order!!

Products great delivery not so much

Love the Spellbinders products - never had a piece I’m unhappy with. However delivery takes forever and makes me think twice about ordering from them. Website claims 2-3 days but it’s more like 2-3 weeks. I can order from China in less time.

Glaciers are quick compared to Spellbinders

Wish I’d read these reviews prior to ordering but it’s a mistake I won’t make again. Dispatch is the slowest I have ever experienced and, when emailing, I just get told I can track the progress using a link. Do they not think I have done that and seen that it has not been dispatched? I want to know when it is going to be dispatched. Now at 2 weeks and counting. If you want a spellbinders product look at Bumbleberry Crafts. They stock and have never let me down.

Loved them for years - Still Waiting for a Response to TWO Letters

Loved them for years. They have wonderful products and very reasonably priced. I had a really tough time with a return as it was too late to cancel as I found the product locally- so I got the return authorization and noted on the package sent back refused. Took me quite some time to get the issue resolved and I am happy to report that I FINALLY got the issue resolved and so happy with the results. I will continue to enjoy their innovative products as I have over recent years.

Have used their products for years and…

Have used their products for years and also subscribed to their highest level of monthly subscriptions spending more than $1200 annually. Just cancelled everything! Their Rewards program is difficult at best. They changed their subscription products and have been receiving terrible reviews online but somehow they continue to show almost all Five Star reviews on their website....yet, few of the reviews are recent. Hmmmmm...... Something must have happened in their management because this is not the same company!
