I would leave no stars if possible

I would leave no stars if possible. They don't work for you or with you, they are only protecting their money that you paid them.More than just slow, they made no effort at all to reach out. In the two months of waiting, I have had to call them multiple times for info. At the end of two months, we were told they "lost the diary" so when I called, they said, oh, yours must have been one of the lost ones. NICE. Only to say it was denied because we didn't call them first. We had a water leak, walls damaged, floor damaged, of course I called a plumber first! Are you kidding me?Never once received a reply to our email or from the third party who fixed it. "We are not obligated to respond to them" was the answer. That is NOT customer service, that is ZERO Stars. Never once reached out for more info, NOTHING.Why are we paying them money to only Deny a simple water leak? Unacceptable.

Poor customer service and constantly raising rates.

I had insurance with TSC Direct for over 20 years when Stillwater bought them. For a few years the only problem that I found was the increase in premiums. They were still quite reasonable, so I continued as a client. This year, however, I while I received my Auto and Umbrella renewals, I did not receive my Condo Insurance renewal. When I realized it, I called the company and was ready to pay as I had been a long-term client. I was told that they were not writing "new" condo policies. I was not a "new" policy but a renewal. I told customer service that not only did I not receive my policy renewal, but I did also not receive a letter of cancellation. Strange how both pieces of mail could have gotten lost? I could maybe understand one, but both. They absolutely refused to renew my policy and furthermore were not nice about it. I immediately called an insurance agent who cancelled my two policies with Stillwater. I had just paid for the Auto and Umbrella and so am waiting for my money back. I have no doubt they will take their time. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They took no responsibility for me not receiving my new policy or a letter of cancellation, but blamed the postal service.Buyer Beware!

A homeowner policy holder for 20…

A homeowner policy holder for 20 years!!!, Someone change my classification on my house from a builders grade house to a custom build house that cost over 1 million dollars to replace. There was no notice, no physical assessment was ever performed in order to change this classification. They simply clicked another box on their computer. They charged me almost $900 dollars more, on a policy that was barely over $1,000 dollars and my mortgage company just paid them without question. I had no claims, no changes in the 20 years in Arizona they had my policy. In Arizona an insurance company is not allowed to do this. No classifications can be changed without a physical assessment of the whole house inside and out. It was recommended to me to make a complaint to the Dept. of Insurances in Arizona. Because this insurance company is based in Jacksonville Florida, I feel they did this on purpose to cover claims in FL. Now know one in the company will talk to me regarding this. I have emailed and called several times with no response to this matter. What a dirty way to treat a customer after 20 years. I deserve all of my money back!. Because they did this, I now have to pay a higher monthly mortgage premium!Never ever get any policies from this company called Stillwater!!

I was a little nervous switching to Stillwater, because I had never heard of them. Their rates were so much lower than Esurance that we gave them a go. The price for the auto insurance did go up by $10/month after the initial quote, because we had an uninsured motorist claim, which was 100% on the other driver. This wasn’t great, but the price was still lower. We are 6 months on and everything so far is fine, but we haven’t had to make a claim.
