Poor value for the cost compared to competitors

I love the concept and will gladly pay the $136 price of this subscription for quality writing. However, while there is a letter style salutation and sign off, it is otherwise not in letter format. It is a short story broken up into 24 installments with the intention of capitalizing on an idea that others do better. The quotation of conversations is especially offputting when I’m supposed to be reading personal correspondence. Two installments in, the supporting inserts included with the letters have included a sticker and paper bookmark with letter 1 and a postcard in letter 2. I sincerely hope that the writing style is revised for future customers because it has a lot of potential. Edit: Storyville customer service, per your response, I responded to Trustpilot with my full legal name and email used for the subscription so I trust that will be sufficient for you to cease attempts to remove my review with my opinion. I’m also happy to provide photos of the contents of each of the letters I received along with each envelope. You’re correct, my confirmation email from you indicates the actual price paid was $136.89, not $136 even. Please let me know if you’d like me to forward that back to you along with a screenshot of my credit card receipt. I’m under no obligation to contact customer service prior to writing a review of my experience as a paying customer. Frankly, I thought you might find it preferable for me to submit a Trustpilot review once rather than commenting under your social media ads that continue to pop up on my feed. I had hoped that the Trustpilot feedback might result in improvement to future letters leading me to want to buy the newest letter subscription but your response insinuating a bad faith review is a disappointment. I find it poorly formatted if supposed to be correspondence-regardless of your explanation I still don’t think quoted conversations typically belong in personal letters, but as I said, I really like the premise and would love it at short story prices.

I really hated these letters

I really hated these letters. And I hate the fact that I cannot cancel this. It says you can cancel up to the first 60 days if you are dissatisfied. I emailed them, as specified, requesting a cancellation. But they gave me some BS about it being a special offer. They also said they would charge me for the whole year whether or not I got the letters. This is a SCAM! Don't fall for it. All I can say is I had better receive the merchandise I paid for.

This is an innovative and very fun…

This is an innovative and very fun approach to story- telling reminiscent of stories that ran as serials in magazines like Colliers and Saturday Evening Post long ago. Try it!
