To all you Veterans. Please do yourself a favor and check out the facilities at the VA here in South Florida. I have never had better medical care. Ever in my life. If you don't know if you qualify you just have to contact them.
I originally scheduled a reservation for Saturday Feb 11 for 8amI immediately emailed them requesting outdoor seating--no response! She could have come back to ask me if I may like something else as the reasoning was that your ice machine was not working!!!!!A bad watered down drink that came along with a $19.00 price tag! I do not mind spending money—I do however dislike throwing it away. I can get a better drink at the Bonefish Grill, a chain restaurant for 25% less cost. My girlfriend ordered a Coconut Blueberry Mojito which was essentially a three sip drink—all ice for $16.00!!2) The grilled Octopus—on a scale of 1-10 perhaps a 5—something patrons of your Hotel do not expect!3) We ordered the Kansas City Steak and the Cowboy steak---both of which came out cold and tough4) Finally half way through the dinner I ordered another glass of wine but asked that she bring me a better glass of Cabernet— she returned with another glass of weak Cabernet—$48.00 for 3 glasses of Cabernet obviously poured from a $12.00 bottleHaving said this I am not one to invest the time to write in this manner. However, when you spend the week reviewing restaurants reviews (as restaurants here in S Fla come and go, just as previously good service and good food go down the drain) and then decide against other restaurants for your establishment………only to find this experience was a very big disappointmentFinally I wrote them and waited before uploading this review--in hopes that perhaps they would reply--instead I received again a "read receipt" from Ms. Barcelona--meaning that she AGAIN read my detailed complaint and simply ignored itThis review is to inform others who may also take the time as we did to review and decide on where to spend their time and moneySince writing this review I have been contacted by their Director of Food and Beverage- in this call he stated a refund would be issued-He subsequently sent two emails stating a refund would be coming--they NEVER sent a refund.I asked twice for the signed receipt they received as the amount they charged was NOT THE AMOUNT i SIGNED OFF ON. They ignored my first two requests and then I sent them a demand letter stating a Fraud case would be opened with Bank Of America. In fact Anette McCrady their Director or Revenue received and review my many emails--zero response
Great place and atmosphere. At the end of week it is most visited place in the region. Very friendly people and good mood around. Highly recommen to visit, especially the center - Lauderdale by the sea.
