I recently made a high end purchase of a large Trilobite assemblage and two large ammonite plates. All of the fossils I received were outstanding and could easily be considered World Class specimens. The Trilobites are absolutely beautiful and have become the cornerstone of my Collection. Equally important was the Customer Service that I received. I waited a very long time to find the right Oldowan pebble tool from Africa for my African display. I found a really nice one at timevaultgallery. The basalt cobble the tool displays very fine windblown weathering patterns of a superior quality that is so actively sought after by collectors and researchers. The provenance is solid and indisputable.
I’m really pleased with my purchases (four items), which were even better than as pictured, and arrived promptly. Before purchasing, I left a voice mail with a few questions, and John called back promptly to answer them and provide more background information.I will definitely be checking back from time to time for new items.
Fossil was shipped within a short time of making the purchase. Fossil arrived in a display box and was exactly as described - a high quality specimen of a rare Cretaceous mammal tooth. Reliable site, excellent artifacts. My only suggestion is having an option to have your artifact sent in a display box or maybe selling display boxes on the side. My handaxe was wrapped in bubble wrap, and while it was perfectly okay, it made me a little nervous. Great company, very satisfied!

I don’t remember the exact date of delivery, but service and timing of delivery was great. From the site description, I knew the fossil would be tiny, and it was, but you could see the root on the half tooth well, and the authentication certificate explaining what it was made the gift special. The only thing I would say was that I was a bit disappointed with the presentation. It was a gift for my 11 year old grandson who is really interested in paleontology. Since the fossil is tiny and looks like a rock, I needed some way to enclose it with the certificate so that it wouldn’t just get “lost” when my grandson wanted to handle it. I solved my problem with a shadow box displaying the fossil case and the certificate together. If that could be a purchasing option, I’d certainly be for it!
