Absolutely dreadful. The worst hotel experience I've had in 30 years of travelling across the globe

Where to begin. Open rebellion from guests sharing horror stories in lifts and corridors - some guests queueing for 4 hours just to check in - ours took 1 hour, but all guests arriving 1 or 2 days later had to queue for many hours - it was impossible to move around anywhere near the lobby with hundreds of guests waiting. Rooms were not cleaned, even after 3 or 4 reminders/requests. We had two rooms - the safes in each of the rooms was inoperable, one was already locked when we arrived and the second was 'dead'. A request to front desk for an empty plate to be sent to the room was met with "that will be $20 for an empty plate to be sent - if you don't order from us don't expect any freebies". Two guests at reception angrily complaining that the second guest had upon check-in been given the same room as the first one had already been checked into, and the second guest on entering the room found the first guest already asleep! The whole place was chaos for the entire duration of the stay, the hotel was clearly not staffed or structured to handle a holiday crowd (in Vegas!). The front desk manager was rude and arrogant, and generated no goodwill.Good location, free parking and easy check-out are the only saving graces

Slow demise of a great hotel

I had not been to LV for a few years but when I used to visit (a little too often) I really enjoyed staying at Treasure Island or it's neighbour, Mirage. In fact I preferred Mirage but it did not appear in search results. Little did I know, Mirage is now closed and being refurbed as a Hard Rock resort. As for TI. Oh dear, so disappointing when a hotel just gives up and that's where TI appears to be now. The first issue was at check-in. They want, for obvious reasons, people to use automated check-in terminals. That would be good but I could not use the terminal as I had to use a different credit card. That was going to be a problem. There was, as I have seen on many occasions, a line to talk to front desk. It did not seem to bad as there were only five or so people in front of me. How little did I appreciate that I was going to be in the line for about 45minutes just to check-in. Only one person dealing with check-in and one with check-out and issues! Pretty appalling. After check-in. I noticed the hotel seemed really empty, comparatively at least. What I used to love about the rooms was the décor and the bed. The décor used to be quite dark but somehow sumptuous and the bed used to envelop you in a good way. Nowadays the rooms have been refurbed (but quite a few years ago) and not well. It is now lighter but the quality of work is poor. There was chips and cracks and wallpaper curling in places. Plus the plumbing was not great as it decided to let out large gurgling sounds during random times in the night. It was not bad enough to ask to move and it was not so bad in the grand scheme of things. The bed was nowhere near as comfortable as beds of the past and I suspect part of the reasoning is about making things easier to clean. The bed was ok and I got a good nights sleep so what more could I ask! The whole experience was a little disappointing as I just felt TI was on its final legs and suspect it will not be open much longer, possibly ripe for tearing down and rebuilding or, like its neighbour, a full refurb.

0 customer service

0 customer service. The room card broke after i gave it to the arcade bar employee as a guarantee for the pool sticks, and they don't wanna give me another one since the room is rented under the name of a friend. I have the id of the friend, but she is at a concert. Now i have to stay for who knows how many hours to wait for them to come back from the concert with my 8 year old kid. Never ever i will recomend this hotel to anyone

Room was broken into before wedding

Our room was broken into (we had a suite with a double door) within an hour of us checking in and everything was stolen the day before our wedding . All of our electronics , wedding rings , cash , my wife’s jewelry all stolen ( around 20k ) total value. My AirTag that was attached to my truck keys seemed to be tracking to an employee only area in the hotel . The hotel has refused to even speak with me about the incident and will not return my calls to their Risk Management hotline . A police report has been made and dude to how much was stolen they have assigned a detective so I look forward to getting some answers hopefully. I will never stay here again and will deter anyone else that I can from doing so as well . It seems very suspicious that our safe was broken so we couldn’t use it and then our room is broken Into and they knew for a fact that nobody was inside the room when breaking in but also calm enough to go through every zipper and every bag and take only things of value. They have no cameras in the hallways specifically to remove liability during situations like this . I’m not the first person and I’m sure I won’t be the last .

Tower King Suite Best Moderately-Priced Room

When I booked, TI was the cheapest strip hotel that had king sized beds and good reviews. And what a fabulous room! Reviews said go for the newest rooms which are Tower rooms. King sized bed, two huge bathrooms, comfy couch with plenty of light to read by, numerous pillows on the bed. We were awakened at 4 AM by a strange noise of a waterfall in one of the bathrooms. I called the front desk and a plumber came within a minute or two. He looked, said that the water coming from the bathroom ceiling is probably from the room above, left, and returned minutes later to report that the couple above had left the water running which overflowed the bath tub. He also offered to mop it up and left a pile of clean towels for us to soak up the last bits if necessary so we would not slip. The room was surprisingly quiet; if we were awake and quiet, we could just hear commercial jets landing or taking off (one or two per hour). Check out was quick and the front desk personnel was gracious. We didn't eat there so don't know about the restaurants, but we did pop into CVS (no need to go outside to get into CVS) and found a refrigerated case of fresh fruit salad and bottled water and bagged snacks; next to that is a Krispy Kreme stand. That Tower king suite has ruined me for all other moderately-priced hotel rooms.

Cons tourists

This place seems set up now days to scam tourists. This place has went downhill from the fond memories we once had of it. Honestly from bar tenders to dodgy workers, all ready to scam you with no shame.

This is our second time here to Las Vegas and staying here is wonderful. There is so must here and that is accessible! Super convenient to anything youay want to do! The staff is super helpful and really friendly! Definitely will be back to this resort again! Been here for a few days and will be here for few more. Really relaxing here and being on the top floor is awsome!

Booked 2 nights

Booked 2 nights, through Expedia.com (don't EVER use them) but after the first night had to check out early as the room smelled like someone was smoking in there the entire night. TI was willing to refund entire stay, even though I only asked for the 1 night I was not staying but said I had to go to Expedia (DON'T EVER USE THEM) since they booked the room. At least TI was willing to try and make up for the problem though Expedia was not.

Scam company

Scam company, do not use. Booked and paid through Trivago in March to stay at Treasure Island in July. Trivago used hotelpower.com Treasure Island said everything was good, but needed my credit card for, “incidentals.” Later, Treasure Island charged my card for the entire stay saying that Hotelpower.com had not paid them. Someone is lying...

Me and my fiancée were planning our…

Me and my fiancée were planning our destination wedding at Treasure Island in Las Vegas back in September 2018. We had placed a non refundable deposit to reserve our date. About two weeks later an unforeseen event occurred not allowing us to carry through with our destination wedding. After speaking with Bianca at Treasure Island event services and explaining our situation she offered to refund our deposit back to us due to the unforeseen circumstances. Most companies wouldn’t even consider but they were understanding and everything worked out.
