Horrible Experience
I bought a Samsung TV set from this vendor on March 8th, 2024 which was delivered on March 18, 2024. The salesperson talked me into buying a 5 year extended in-home warranty claiming that someone would come to my home and fix it, or replace it ( if it can't be fixed), should anything happen to it. I paid $2,788 in total. in November, less than 8 months later, a 5-6 inch shadow started forming in the center of the screen and another one on the left side. I contacted TV & Appliance center in November, and after doing some diagnostic picture tests, confirmed that there is a problem with the screen and that it needs to be replaced, or another new TV will be sent. I was promised each time that a local repair shop would be calling me. That call never came. Since then, I sent several emails and made multiple phone calls where I spoke with the manager Mark, and every time I was given a different excuse as to why no one called (claim was closed by mistake, waiting on a part, part may not be available, etc..). in the last conversation (mid January) I had with the manager, he promised he was going to have a definite answer and call me within 48 hours with an update. Not only did I not get a call back, they started hanging up on me when I call and my last email was ignored. I contacted local repair shops to see if I can fix it on my own and two of them said fixing that screen would cost more than the TV itself. I contacted Samsung and for the last few weeks have been trying to find a resolution with them directly. A simple issue that should've been taken one phone call and a few minutes, as promised by this company, has taken me hours on the phone, so much frustration, and several emails!!
