Avoid UCSF because your life depends upon it

The support staff, nurses, schedulers, several doctors, and everyone I was forced to interact with in the anesthesia department made tremendous errors, behaved unprofessionally, and caused severe stress. I was repeatedly yelled at on the telephone for errors UCSF made, then they flipped it, pinning their responsibilities on me. Nurses gave me conflicting information with regard to when to bathe, remove bandages, and to exercise. The person making appointments screwed up to the point that I had to make new a new flight, which was a loss of thousands of dollars. The surgeon was never once on time for Zoom calls, and was at least an hour late, if not longer. My primary care physician was not listed in my profile, a bogus radiologist from another state was put in, and all my personal data went to and continues to be sent to a person unknown to me, which is a legal breech of my privacy; when I sought to make corrections my requests were refused. Each person I dealt with could not grasp the difference in American time zones, then yelled at me about it. My appointments were cancelled without my knowledge, including a change to the time of my surgery. The overall experience is one of complete confusion. Not one person was kind, caring, calm, or dependable, which was terrifying. The individuals from the anesthesia department were yelling at me when I was wheeled into surgery. No one should ever be treated with the disregard that I had to endure. I will never return to UCSF and I will never recommend them. The bottom line is that they don't care, there is no professional oversight, and they use the pandemic as an excuse for dangerous behavior.

This is the worst hospital to have surgery.

This is the worst hospital where you can have a spine surgery. The surgeons do not care. I had a spine surgery on July 1, 2021. Today is August 10, 2021. The pain is unbearable. No one cares. No pain medicine to reduce the pain level to the bearable level. My surgeon is Dr. Aaron Clark. He has not seen me even once after the surgery.Because of the pain, I am unable to sleep at night. This is no ordinary pain. Tiffany Pong Ross is a nurse (PA).The staff in his office is arrogant. They do not respond to the email.I am trying to get some pain medicine to get some sleep. They do not care! Meanwhile, I am undergoing torture!
